Sura Ad-Dhuhaa

Ayah: 1

وَٱلضُّحَىٰ
Juro por el resplandor matinal,
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 2

وَٱلَّيۡلِ إِذَا سَجَىٰ
por la noche cuando se serena,
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 3

مَا وَدَّعَكَ رَبُّكَ وَمَا قَلَىٰ
que tu Señor no te ha abandonado ni aborrecido [oh, Mujámmad].

Ayah: 4

وَلَلۡأٓخِرَةُ خَيۡرٞ لَّكَ مِنَ ٱلۡأُولَىٰ
La vida del más allá será mejor para ti que esta.

Ayah: 5

وَلَسَوۡفَ يُعۡطِيكَ رَبُّكَ فَتَرۡضَىٰٓ
Tu Señor te agraciará y te complacerás.

أَلَمۡ يَجِدۡكَ يَتِيمٗا فَـَٔاوَىٰ
¿Acaso no te encontró huérfano y te dio amparo,

وَوَجَدَكَ ضَآلّٗا فَهَدَىٰ
y te encontró perdido y te guió,

Ayah: 8

وَوَجَدَكَ عَآئِلٗا فَأَغۡنَىٰ
y te encontró pobre y te enriqueció?

Ayah: 9

فَأَمَّا ٱلۡيَتِيمَ فَلَا تَقۡهَرۡ
No maltrates al huérfano

Ayah: 10

وَأَمَّا ٱلسَّآئِلَ فَلَا تَنۡهَرۡ
ni rechaces al mendigo.

Ayah: 11

وَأَمَّا بِنِعۡمَةِ رَبِّكَ فَحَدِّثۡ
Y divulga las bendiciones de tu Señor.
