سورة الملك - Al-Mulk

آية: 1

تَبَٰرَكَ ٱلَّذِي بِيَدِهِ ٱلۡمُلۡكُ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيۡءٖ قَدِيرٌ

1. Blessed is Allah in Whose Hand is all the dominion, and He has full Power over all things.

آية: 2

ٱلَّذِي خَلَقَ ٱلۡمَوۡتَ وَٱلۡحَيَوٰةَ لِيَبۡلُوَكُمۡ أَيُّكُمۡ أَحۡسَنُ عَمَلٗاۚ وَهُوَ ٱلۡعَزِيزُ ٱلۡغَفُورُ

2. It is He (Allah) Who has created death and life that He may test you and see which of you is best in deeds (conduct and manners). He is the All-Mighty, the All-Forgiving.

آية: 3

ٱلَّذِي خَلَقَ سَبۡعَ سَمَٰوَٰتٖ طِبَاقٗاۖ مَّا تَرَىٰ فِي خَلۡقِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ مِن تَفَٰوُتٖۖ فَٱرۡجِعِ ٱلۡبَصَرَ هَلۡ تَرَىٰ مِن فُطُورٖ

3. It is He (Allah) Who created seven heavens one above the other. You can see no inconsistency in the creation of (Allah) the Most Compassionate. Look again (to the heaven), can you see any flaws?

آية: 4

ثُمَّ ٱرۡجِعِ ٱلۡبَصَرَ كَرَّتَيۡنِ يَنقَلِبۡ إِلَيۡكَ ٱلۡبَصَرُ خَاسِئٗا وَهُوَ حَسِيرٞ

4. Look again and again; your sight will return to you humbled and weary.

آية: 5

وَلَقَدۡ زَيَّنَّا ٱلسَّمَآءَ ٱلدُّنۡيَا بِمَصَٰبِيحَ وَجَعَلۡنَٰهَا رُجُومٗا لِّلشَّيَٰطِينِۖ وَأَعۡتَدۡنَا لَهُمۡ عَذَابَ ٱلسَّعِيرِ

5. We have adorned the nearest heaven (to the earth) with stars (as lamps), and have made them as missiles to stone the devils, and We have prepared for them the torment of the blazing Fire.

آية: 6

وَلِلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ بِرَبِّهِمۡ عَذَابُ جَهَنَّمَۖ وَبِئۡسَ ٱلۡمَصِيرُ

6. For those who deny their Lord (Allah), is the torment of Gehinnom (Hell). What a terrible destination.

آية: 7

إِذَآ أُلۡقُواْ فِيهَا سَمِعُواْ لَهَا شَهِيقٗا وَهِيَ تَفُورُ

7. When they are thrown into hell, they will hear its roaring while it boils.

آية: 8

تَكَادُ تَمَيَّزُ مِنَ ٱلۡغَيۡظِۖ كُلَّمَآ أُلۡقِيَ فِيهَا فَوۡجٞ سَأَلَهُمۡ خَزَنَتُهَآ أَلَمۡ يَأۡتِكُمۡ نَذِيرٞ

8. Almost bursting with fury. Whenever a group is thrown into it (the Hell), its keeper will ask them: "Did there not come to you a warner (a messenger from God)?"

آية: 9

قَالُواْ بَلَىٰ قَدۡ جَآءَنَا نَذِيرٞ فَكَذَّبۡنَا وَقُلۡنَا مَا نَزَّلَ ٱللَّهُ مِن شَيۡءٍ إِنۡ أَنتُمۡ إِلَّا فِي ضَلَٰلٖ كَبِيرٖ

9. They will say: "Yes, indeed there came to us a warner (messenger), but we rejected (him) saying: "Allah never sent down anything (of Revelation), you are only in extreme error."

آية: 10

وَقَالُواْ لَوۡ كُنَّا نَسۡمَعُ أَوۡ نَعۡقِلُ مَا كُنَّا فِيٓ أَصۡحَٰبِ ٱلسَّعِيرِ

10. They will also say: "Had we listened (to God's Message) or used our mind (to find out its Truth), we should not have been among the people of the blazing Fire."

آية: 11

فَٱعۡتَرَفُواْ بِذَنۢبِهِمۡ فَسُحۡقٗا لِّأَصۡحَٰبِ ٱلسَّعِيرِ

11. Thus they will admit their sins. So far away will be (all good) from the people of the blazing Fire.

آية: 12

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ يَخۡشَوۡنَ رَبَّهُم بِٱلۡغَيۡبِ لَهُم مَّغۡفِرَةٞ وَأَجۡرٞ كَبِيرٞ

12. Those who are in awe (and reverence before) their Lord (Allah) though (He is) unseen (beyond their perception), they will have forgiveness and a great reward (of Paradise).

آية: 13

وَأَسِرُّواْ قَوۡلَكُمۡ أَوِ ٱجۡهَرُواْ بِهِۦٓۖ إِنَّهُۥ عَلِيمُۢ بِذَاتِ ٱلصُّدُورِ

13. Whether you conceal what you say or reveal it; He (Allah) has full Knowledge of what is in the chests (of mankind).

آية: 14

أَلَا يَعۡلَمُ مَنۡ خَلَقَ وَهُوَ ٱللَّطِيفُ ٱلۡخَبِيرُ

14. Does He (Allah) Who created (every thing) not know all about them? While He is the Subtle, the All-Aware.

آية: 15

هُوَ ٱلَّذِي جَعَلَ لَكُمُ ٱلۡأَرۡضَ ذَلُولٗا فَٱمۡشُواْ فِي مَنَاكِبِهَا وَكُلُواْ مِن رِّزۡقِهِۦۖ وَإِلَيۡهِ ٱلنُّشُورُ

15. It is He (Allah) Who made the earth subservient to you, so walk in the paths thereof, and eat of His sustenance - to Him is the Resurrection.

آية: 16

ءَأَمِنتُم مَّن فِي ٱلسَّمَآءِ أَن يَخۡسِفَ بِكُمُ ٱلۡأَرۡضَ فَإِذَا هِيَ تَمُورُ

16. Do you feel secure that He (Allah), Who is above the heavens, will not cause the earth to sink with you and suddenly it would sway (as in an earthquake)?

آية: 17

أَمۡ أَمِنتُم مَّن فِي ٱلسَّمَآءِ أَن يُرۡسِلَ عَلَيۡكُمۡ حَاصِبٗاۖ فَسَتَعۡلَمُونَ كَيۡفَ نَذِيرِ

17. Or do you feel secure that (Allah), Who is above the heavens, will not strike you with sandstorm? You will soon know how (serious) was My Warning.

آية: 18

وَلَقَدۡ كَذَّبَ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبۡلِهِمۡ فَكَيۡفَ كَانَ نَكِيرِ

18. Those before them rejected (the Truth), then how (terrible) was My Reproach.

آية: 19

أَوَلَمۡ يَرَوۡاْ إِلَى ٱلطَّيۡرِ فَوۡقَهُمۡ صَٰٓفَّٰتٖ وَيَقۡبِضۡنَۚ مَا يُمۡسِكُهُنَّ إِلَّا ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنُۚ إِنَّهُۥ بِكُلِّ شَيۡءِۭ بَصِيرٌ

19. Do they not see the birds above them flapping (their wings) and stretching (them)? No one keeps them up in the sky except (Allah) the Most Compassionate. He is the All-Seer of everything.

آية: 20

أَمَّنۡ هَٰذَا ٱلَّذِي هُوَ جُندٞ لَّكُمۡ يَنصُرُكُم مِّن دُونِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِۚ إِنِ ٱلۡكَٰفِرُونَ إِلَّا فِي غُرُورٍ

20. Which is your army that will help you against (Allah) the Most Compassionate? The deniers are only in deception.

آية: 21

أَمَّنۡ هَٰذَا ٱلَّذِي يَرۡزُقُكُمۡ إِنۡ أَمۡسَكَ رِزۡقَهُۥۚ بَل لَّجُّواْ فِي عُتُوّٖ وَنُفُورٍ

21. Or who is it that will provide you with sustenance if He (Allah) were to withhold His sustenance? Yet they (the deniers) persist in pride and flee (from the Truth).

آية: 22

أَفَمَن يَمۡشِي مُكِبًّا عَلَىٰ وَجۡهِهِۦٓ أَهۡدَىٰٓ أَمَّن يَمۡشِي سَوِيًّا عَلَىٰ صِرَٰطٖ مُّسۡتَقِيمٖ

22. Is he who crawls upon his face better guided, or he who walks upright upon a straight Path?

آية: 23

قُلۡ هُوَ ٱلَّذِيٓ أَنشَأَكُمۡ وَجَعَلَ لَكُمُ ٱلسَّمۡعَ وَٱلۡأَبۡصَٰرَ وَٱلۡأَفۡـِٔدَةَۚ قَلِيلٗا مَّا تَشۡكُرُونَ

23. Say: "It is Allah Who has brought you into being, and made for you ears, eyes and intellects - little it is that you give thanks."

آية: 24

قُلۡ هُوَ ٱلَّذِي ذَرَأَكُمۡ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَإِلَيۡهِ تُحۡشَرُونَ

24. Say: "It is Allah Who multiplied you on the earth, and to Him you shall be (all) gathered (for Judgment)."

آية: 25

وَيَقُولُونَ مَتَىٰ هَٰذَا ٱلۡوَعۡدُ إِن كُنتُمۡ صَٰدِقِينَ

25. They say: "When will this Promise (the Day of Resurrection and Judgment) be (fulfilled) if you are truthful?"

آية: 26

قُلۡ إِنَّمَا ٱلۡعِلۡمُ عِندَ ٱللَّهِ وَإِنَّمَآ أَنَا۠ نَذِيرٞ مُّبِينٞ

26. Say: "The Knowledge thereof is only with Allah, and I am only a plain warner."

آية: 27

فَلَمَّا رَأَوۡهُ زُلۡفَةٗ سِيٓـَٔتۡ وُجُوهُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ وَقِيلَ هَٰذَا ٱلَّذِي كُنتُم بِهِۦ تَدَّعُونَ

27. But when they will see the torment approaching, the faces of those who deny (Allah and His messenger Muhammad) will be stricken with grief, and they will be told: "This is that which you used to call for."

آية: 28

قُلۡ أَرَءَيۡتُمۡ إِنۡ أَهۡلَكَنِيَ ٱللَّهُ وَمَن مَّعِيَ أَوۡ رَحِمَنَا فَمَن يُجِيرُ ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ مِنۡ عَذَابٍ أَلِيمٖ

28. Say: "Have you considered: whether Allah should cause my death and those with me - or have Mercy on us - who can protect the deniers from a painful Torment"

آية: 29

قُلۡ هُوَ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنُ ءَامَنَّا بِهِۦ وَعَلَيۡهِ تَوَكَّلۡنَاۖ فَسَتَعۡلَمُونَ مَنۡ هُوَ فِي ضَلَٰلٖ مُّبِينٖ

29. Say (Muhammad): "He (Allah) is the Most Compassionate, we have believed in Him and on Him (alone) do we rely. You will soon know who is in clear error.

آية: 30

قُلۡ أَرَءَيۡتُمۡ إِنۡ أَصۡبَحَ مَآؤُكُمۡ غَوۡرٗا فَمَن يَأۡتِيكُم بِمَآءٖ مَّعِينِۭ

30. Say: "Have you considered if your water were to dry up, who (other than Allah), could bring you pure flowing water¹?"

1. No one is able to do that other than Allah.
