An-Najm

Vers: 1

وَٱلنَّجۡمِ إِذَا هَوَىٰ
Per le stelle cadenti!

مَا ضَلَّ صَاحِبُكُمۡ وَمَا غَوَىٰ
Il vostro compagno non si è sviato, e non si è insuperbito

وَمَا يَنطِقُ عَنِ ٱلۡهَوَىٰٓ
e non parlava per capriccio.

إِنۡ هُوَ إِلَّا وَحۡيٞ يُوحَىٰ
Non è che ispirazione ricevuta,

عَلَّمَهُۥ شَدِيدُ ٱلۡقُوَىٰ
che gli insegnò il Potente e Forte (Angelo Jibrīl)

ذُو مِرَّةٖ فَٱسۡتَوَىٰ
e di grande splendore (si è mostrato nelle sembianze di Angelo), colui che si alza nel cielo

وَهُوَ بِٱلۡأُفُقِ ٱلۡأَعۡلَىٰ
al sommo orizzonte;

ثُمَّ دَنَا فَتَدَلَّىٰ
poi si avvicinò, e restò sospeso

فَكَانَ قَابَ قَوۡسَيۡنِ أَوۡ أَدۡنَىٰ
fino alla distanza di due lunghezze d’arco o poco meno.

فَأَوۡحَىٰٓ إِلَىٰ عَبۡدِهِۦ مَآ أَوۡحَىٰ
E ispirò al Suo servo ciò che ha voluto ispirargli.

Vers: 11

مَا كَذَبَ ٱلۡفُؤَادُ مَا رَأَىٰٓ
Il suo cuore non negò ciò che vide:

أَفَتُمَٰرُونَهُۥ عَلَىٰ مَا يَرَىٰ
osate voi mettere in dubbio ciò che vede?

وَلَقَدۡ رَءَاهُ نَزۡلَةً أُخۡرَىٰ
E lo vide di nuovo (in quella stessa forma)

عِندَ سِدۡرَةِ ٱلۡمُنتَهَىٰ
presso il giuggiolo del limite estremo,

عِندَهَا جَنَّةُ ٱلۡمَأۡوَىٰٓ
là dove sta il Paradiso della Dimora,

إِذۡ يَغۡشَى ٱلسِّدۡرَةَ مَا يَغۡشَىٰ
quando il giuggiolo era circondato da ciò che lo copriva.

مَا زَاغَ ٱلۡبَصَرُ وَمَا طَغَىٰ
Il suo sguardo non si spostò da esso, e non oltrepassò quel limite.

لَقَدۡ رَأَىٰ مِنۡ ءَايَٰتِ رَبِّهِ ٱلۡكُبۡرَىٰٓ
Lui vide parte dei supremi segni del suo Dio.

Vers: 19

أَفَرَءَيۡتُمُ ٱللَّٰتَ وَٱلۡعُزَّىٰ
Ma voi avete forse visto Al-Lāta e Al-’Uzza

وَمَنَوٰةَ ٱلثَّالِثَةَ ٱلۡأُخۡرَىٰٓ
e Manat, il terzo tra loro,

أَلَكُمُ ٱلذَّكَرُ وَلَهُ ٱلۡأُنثَىٰ
e a voi i maschi e a Lui le femmine?

Vers: 22

تِلۡكَ إِذٗا قِسۡمَةٞ ضِيزَىٰٓ
Che divisione ingiusta!

Vers: 23

إِنۡ هِيَ إِلَّآ أَسۡمَآءٞ سَمَّيۡتُمُوهَآ أَنتُمۡ وَءَابَآؤُكُم مَّآ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ بِهَا مِن سُلۡطَٰنٍۚ إِن يَتَّبِعُونَ إِلَّا ٱلظَّنَّ وَمَا تَهۡوَى ٱلۡأَنفُسُۖ وَلَقَدۡ جَآءَهُم مِّن رَّبِّهِمُ ٱلۡهُدَىٰٓ
Ma non sono che nomi, inventati da voi e dai vostri padri, a cui Allāh non ha mai attribuito nessuna autorità. In verità, non seguono che le proprie supposizioni e ciò che i loro animi desiderano, anche se è già stata indicata loro da Allāh la Retta Via.

Vers: 24

أَمۡ لِلۡإِنسَٰنِ مَا تَمَنَّىٰ
O è forse dato all’uomo di avere ciò che desidera?

Vers: 25

فَلِلَّهِ ٱلۡأٓخِرَةُ وَٱلۡأُولَىٰ
Ma ad Allāh l’Altra vita e questa vita.

Vers: 26

۞ وَكَم مِّن مَّلَكٖ فِي ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ لَا تُغۡنِي شَفَٰعَتُهُمۡ شَيۡـًٔا إِلَّا مِنۢ بَعۡدِ أَن يَأۡذَنَ ٱللَّهُ لِمَن يَشَآءُ وَيَرۡضَىٰٓ
E quanti angeli sono nei cieli, la cui intercessione non giova a nulla, se non col permesso di Allāh, che lo concede a chi Lui vuole, e col Suo compiacimento?

Vers: 27

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يُؤۡمِنُونَ بِٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ لَيُسَمُّونَ ٱلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةَ تَسۡمِيَةَ ٱلۡأُنثَىٰ
In verità quelli che non credono nell’Aldilà, danno agli angeli nomi femminili,

Vers: 28

وَمَا لَهُم بِهِۦ مِنۡ عِلۡمٍۖ إِن يَتَّبِعُونَ إِلَّا ٱلظَّنَّۖ وَإِنَّ ٱلظَّنَّ لَا يُغۡنِي مِنَ ٱلۡحَقِّ شَيۡـٔٗا
senza saperne niente, seguendo solo congetture, e in verità le congetture non sostituiscono in nulla la Verità!

Vers: 29

فَأَعۡرِضۡ عَن مَّن تَوَلَّىٰ عَن ذِكۡرِنَا وَلَمۡ يُرِدۡ إِلَّا ٱلۡحَيَوٰةَ ٱلدُّنۡيَا
Ignora chi ha rinnegato i Nostri Segni e non desidera che la vita terrena!

Vers: 30

ذَٰلِكَ مَبۡلَغُهُم مِّنَ ٱلۡعِلۡمِۚ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ أَعۡلَمُ بِمَن ضَلَّ عَن سَبِيلِهِۦ وَهُوَ أَعۡلَمُ بِمَنِ ٱهۡتَدَىٰ
Quello è il loro limite di conoscenza: in verità il tuo Dio conosce meglio chi ha perduto il Suo sentiero, e Lui conosce chi è ben guidato.

Vers: 31

وَلِلَّهِ مَا فِي ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَمَا فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ لِيَجۡزِيَ ٱلَّذِينَ أَسَٰٓـُٔواْ بِمَا عَمِلُواْ وَيَجۡزِيَ ٱلَّذِينَ أَحۡسَنُواْ بِٱلۡحُسۡنَى
E ad Allāh appartiene ciò che è nei cieli e in terra; così ricompensa quelli che hanno fatto il male per ciò che hanno fatto, e ricompensa quelli che hanno fatto il bene con il bene:

Vers: 32

ٱلَّذِينَ يَجۡتَنِبُونَ كَبَٰٓئِرَ ٱلۡإِثۡمِ وَٱلۡفَوَٰحِشَ إِلَّا ٱللَّمَمَۚ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ وَٰسِعُ ٱلۡمَغۡفِرَةِۚ هُوَ أَعۡلَمُ بِكُمۡ إِذۡ أَنشَأَكُم مِّنَ ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَإِذۡ أَنتُمۡ أَجِنَّةٞ فِي بُطُونِ أُمَّهَٰتِكُمۡۖ فَلَا تُزَكُّوٓاْ أَنفُسَكُمۡۖ هُوَ أَعۡلَمُ بِمَنِ ٱتَّقَىٰٓ
quelli che si astengono dal commettere i grandi peccati e le nefandezze, tranne i piccoli peccati. In verità il tuo Dio è Colui che accoglie il pentimento. Lui vi conosce meglio: vi ha creato dalla terra e diventaste feti nei ventri delle vostre madri. Non vantate la vostra purezza: Lui conosce bene chi è devoto.

Vers: 33

أَفَرَءَيۡتَ ٱلَّذِي تَوَلَّىٰ
Hai visto chi ha rinnegato

وَأَعۡطَىٰ قَلِيلٗا وَأَكۡدَىٰٓ
e ha donato una piccola somma, poi si è astenuto?

أَعِندَهُۥ عِلۡمُ ٱلۡغَيۡبِ فَهُوَ يَرَىٰٓ
Possiede forse la conoscenza dell’Ignoto, così da vederlo?

Vers: 36

أَمۡ لَمۡ يُنَبَّأۡ بِمَا فِي صُحُفِ مُوسَىٰ
O non è stato informato di ciò che è nei Libri di Mūsā

Vers: 37

وَإِبۡرَٰهِيمَ ٱلَّذِي وَفَّىٰٓ
e di Ibrāhīm, che si attenne alla Legge?

أَلَّا تَزِرُ وَازِرَةٞ وِزۡرَ أُخۡرَىٰ
»Che nessuno paghi il prezzo delle colpe altrui”,

Vers: 39

وَأَن لَّيۡسَ لِلۡإِنسَٰنِ إِلَّا مَا سَعَىٰ
e non va a favore dell’uomo se non le proprie azioni,

Vers: 40

وَأَنَّ سَعۡيَهُۥ سَوۡفَ يُرَىٰ
e le sue azioni saranno evidenziate,

Vers: 41

ثُمَّ يُجۡزَىٰهُ ٱلۡجَزَآءَ ٱلۡأَوۡفَىٰ
poi saranno ricompensate generosamente

Vers: 42

وَأَنَّ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ ٱلۡمُنتَهَىٰ
e in verità l’ultima meta è dal tuo Dio.

وَأَنَّهُۥ هُوَ أَضۡحَكَ وَأَبۡكَىٰ
E in verità è Lui che ha fatto ridere e piangere,

وَأَنَّهُۥ هُوَ أَمَاتَ وَأَحۡيَا
e in verità è Lui che ha fatto morire e resuscitare.

وَأَنَّهُۥ خَلَقَ ٱلزَّوۡجَيۡنِ ٱلذَّكَرَ وَٱلۡأُنثَىٰ
E in verità è Lui che ha creato la coppia di maschio e femmina

Vers: 46

مِن نُّطۡفَةٍ إِذَا تُمۡنَىٰ
da un fiotto che viene gettato.

Vers: 47

وَأَنَّ عَلَيۡهِ ٱلنَّشۡأَةَ ٱلۡأُخۡرَىٰ
E in verità a Lui appartiene la seconda resurrezione.

وَأَنَّهُۥ هُوَ أَغۡنَىٰ وَأَقۡنَىٰ
E in verità è Lui che ha fatto arricchire o ha fatto impoverire.

وَأَنَّهُۥ هُوَ رَبُّ ٱلشِّعۡرَىٰ
E in verità è Lui il Creatore di Sirio.

وَأَنَّهُۥٓ أَهۡلَكَ عَادًا ٱلۡأُولَىٰ
E in verità è Lui che distrusse gli antichi di ‘Ad

وَثَمُودَاْ فَمَآ أَبۡقَىٰ
e Thamūd e non risparmiò nulla,

وَقَوۡمَ نُوحٖ مِّن قَبۡلُۖ إِنَّهُمۡ كَانُواْ هُمۡ أَظۡلَمَ وَأَطۡغَىٰ
e, prima di loro, il popolo di Nūħ, in verità fu ancora più malfattore e prepotente.

Vers: 53

وَٱلۡمُؤۡتَفِكَةَ أَهۡوَىٰ
E capovolse le città ﴾del popolo di Lūt﴿,

فَغَشَّىٰهَا مَا غَشَّىٰ
ricoprendole: e che copertura!

Vers: 55

فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكَ تَتَمَارَىٰ
Di quali segni del tuo Dio dubiti ancora?

هَٰذَا نَذِيرٞ مِّنَ ٱلنُّذُرِ ٱلۡأُولَىٰٓ
Questo è un avvertimento dei primi avvertimenti.

أَزِفَتِ ٱلۡأٓزِفَةُ
L’Ora si avvicina:

لَيۡسَ لَهَا مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ كَاشِفَةٌ
non c’è, all’infuori di Allāh, chi la riveli!

أَفَمِنۡ هَٰذَا ٱلۡحَدِيثِ تَعۡجَبُونَ
È di questi ammonimenti che vi stupite?

وَتَضۡحَكُونَ وَلَا تَبۡكُونَ
E ne ridete? E non piangete?

E vi state distraendo?
