Al-Ghâshiyah

Vers: 1

هَلۡ أَتَىٰكَ حَدِيثُ ٱلۡغَٰشِيَةِ
Ti è arrivato il racconto del Giorno Avvolgente?

وُجُوهٞ يَوۡمَئِذٍ خَٰشِعَةٌ
Quel giorno volti avviliti,

عَامِلَةٞ نَّاصِبَةٞ
abbattuti e stanchi,

تَصۡلَىٰ نَارًا حَامِيَةٗ
subiranno il Fuoco ardente

تُسۡقَىٰ مِنۡ عَيۡنٍ ءَانِيَةٖ
e sarà dato loro da bere da una sorgente caustica;

لَّيۡسَ لَهُمۡ طَعَامٌ إِلَّا مِن ضَرِيعٖ
non avranno cibo all’infuori di dhari’a[106],
[106]- cibo spinoso che non ingrassa e non sfama. Quraish lo chiama shubruk (الشرب): quando è verde e quando si secca si chiama dharia` ضريع; gli animali non lo mangiano ed è velenoso.

لَّا يُسۡمِنُ وَلَا يُغۡنِي مِن جُوعٖ
che non ingrassa, né toglie la fame.

وُجُوهٞ يَوۡمَئِذٖ نَّاعِمَةٞ
Quel giorno, con volti soddisfatti,

لِّسَعۡيِهَا رَاضِيَةٞ
compiaciuti delle loro azioni,

فِي جَنَّةٍ عَالِيَةٖ
saranno nel Paradiso supremo,

لَّا تَسۡمَعُ فِيهَا لَٰغِيَةٗ
in cui non si ascoltano discorsi vani;

فِيهَا عَيۡنٞ جَارِيَةٞ
in cui scorre una sorgente viva

فِيهَا سُرُرٞ مَّرۡفُوعَةٞ
e ci sono giacigli pensili

e coppe pronte

وَزَرَابِيُّ مَبۡثُوثَةٌ

أَفَلَا يَنظُرُونَ إِلَى ٱلۡإِبِلِ كَيۡفَ خُلِقَتۡ
Non vedono forse i cammelli come sono creati

وَإِلَى ٱلسَّمَآءِ كَيۡفَ رُفِعَتۡ
e il cielo come è elevato

وَإِلَى ٱلۡجِبَالِ كَيۡفَ نُصِبَتۡ
e i monti come sono stati fissati

وَإِلَى ٱلۡأَرۡضِ كَيۡفَ سُطِحَتۡ
e la terra come è stata estesa?

فَذَكِّرۡ إِنَّمَآ أَنتَ مُذَكِّرٞ
Avverti, in verità sei un ammonitore;

لَّسۡتَ عَلَيۡهِم بِمُصَيۡطِرٍ
non sei il loro tiranno.

إِلَّا مَن تَوَلَّىٰ وَكَفَرَ
Solo a chi si tira indietro e rinnega,

فَيُعَذِّبُهُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلۡعَذَابَ ٱلۡأَكۡبَرَ
Allāh infliggerà la maggiore punizione.

إِنَّ إِلَيۡنَآ إِيَابَهُمۡ
In verità a Noi è il loro ritorno,

ثُمَّ إِنَّ عَلَيۡنَا حِسَابَهُم
poi, in verità, spetterà a Noi giudicarli.
