Sura el-Burudž

Ayah: 1

وَٱلسَّمَآءِ ذَاتِ ٱلۡبُرُوجِ
Tako mi neba sazviježđima okićenog,
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 2

وَٱلۡيَوۡمِ ٱلۡمَوۡعُودِ
i Dana već određenog,

Ayah: 3

وَشَاهِدٖ وَمَشۡهُودٖ
i prisutnih, i onoga što će biti prisutno –

Ayah: 4

قُتِلَ أَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلۡأُخۡدُودِ
prokleti neka su oni koji su rovove iskopali,

Ayah: 5

ٱلنَّارِ ذَاتِ ٱلۡوَقُودِ
i vatrom i gorivom ih napunili,

إِذۡ هُمۡ عَلَيۡهَا قُعُودٞ
kada su oko nje sjedili

وَهُمۡ عَلَىٰ مَا يَفۡعَلُونَ بِٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ شُهُودٞ
i bili svjedoci onoga što su vjernicima radili!

وَمَا نَقَمُواْ مِنۡهُمۡ إِلَّآ أَن يُؤۡمِنُواْ بِٱللَّهِ ٱلۡعَزِيزِ ٱلۡحَمِيدِ
A svetili su im se samo zato što su u Allaha, Silnoga i Hvale dostojnoga, vjerovali,

Ayah: 9

ٱلَّذِي لَهُۥ مُلۡكُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ وَٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيۡءٖ شَهِيدٌ
čija je vlast i na nebesima i na Zemlji – a Allah je svemu Svjedok.

Ayah: 10

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ فَتَنُواْ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ وَٱلۡمُؤۡمِنَٰتِ ثُمَّ لَمۡ يَتُوبُواْ فَلَهُمۡ عَذَابُ جَهَنَّمَ وَلَهُمۡ عَذَابُ ٱلۡحَرِيقِ
One koji vjernike i vjernice budu na muke stavljali pa se ne budu pokajali – čeka patnja u Džehennemu i isto tako prženje u ognju,

Ayah: 11

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ لَهُمۡ جَنَّٰتٞ تَجۡرِي مِن تَحۡتِهَا ٱلۡأَنۡهَٰرُۚ ذَٰلِكَ ٱلۡفَوۡزُ ٱلۡكَبِيرُ
a one koji budu vjerovali i dobra djela činili čekaju bašče džennetske kroz koje rijeke teku – a to će veliki uspjeh biti. @Corrected

إِنَّ بَطۡشَ رَبِّكَ لَشَدِيدٌ
Odmazda Gospodara tvoga će, zaista, užasna biti!

On iz ničega stvara, i ponovo će to učiniti;

فَعَّالٞ لِّمَا يُرِيدُ

هَلۡ أَتَىٰكَ حَدِيثُ ٱلۡجُنُودِ
Da li je doprla do tebe vijest o vojskama,

فِرۡعَوۡنَ وَثَمُودَ
o faraonu i Semudu?

بَلِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ فِي تَكۡذِيبٖ
Ali, ovi koji neće da vjeruju stalno poriču –

وَٱللَّهُ مِن وَرَآئِهِم مُّحِيطُۢ
a Allahu oni neće moći umaći:

a ovo je Kur'an veličanstveni,
