Sura el-Gašija

Ayah: 1

هَلۡ أَتَىٰكَ حَدِيثُ ٱلۡغَٰشِيَةِ
Da li je doprla do tebe vijest o teškoj nevolji? –

Ayah: 2

وُجُوهٞ يَوۡمَئِذٍ خَٰشِعَةٌ
kada će se neka lica potištena,

عَامِلَةٞ نَّاصِبَةٞ
premorena, napaćena

Ayah: 4

تَصۡلَىٰ نَارًا حَامِيَةٗ
u vatri užarenoj pržiti,

Ayah: 5

تُسۡقَىٰ مِنۡ عَيۡنٍ ءَانِيَةٖ
sa vrela uzavrelog piti,

Ayah: 6

لَّيۡسَ لَهُمۡ طَعَامٌ إِلَّا مِن ضَرِيعٖ
kada drugog jela osim trnja neće imati,

لَّا يُسۡمِنُ وَلَا يُغۡنِي مِن جُوعٖ
koje neće ni ugojiti ni glad utoliti.

وُجُوهٞ يَوۡمَئِذٖ نَّاعِمَةٞ
Neka lica toga dana biće radosna,

لِّسَعۡيِهَا رَاضِيَةٞ
trudom svojim zadovoljna –

فِي جَنَّةٍ عَالِيَةٖ
u Džennetu izvanrednome,

Ayah: 11

لَّا تَسۡمَعُ فِيهَا لَٰغِيَةٗ
u kome prazne besjede neće slušati.

فِيهَا عَيۡنٞ جَارِيَةٞ
U njemu su izvor-vode koje teku,

فِيهَا سُرُرٞ مَّرۡفُوعَةٞ
u njemu su i divani skupocjeni,

وَأَكۡوَابٞ مَّوۡضُوعَةٞ
i pehari postavljeni,

وَنَمَارِقُ مَصۡفُوفَةٞ
i jastuci poredani,

وَزَرَابِيُّ مَبۡثُوثَةٌ
i ćilimi rašireni.

أَفَلَا يَنظُرُونَ إِلَى ٱلۡإِبِلِ كَيۡفَ خُلِقَتۡ
Pa zašto oni ne pogledaju kamile – kako su stvorene,

وَإِلَى ٱلسَّمَآءِ كَيۡفَ رُفِعَتۡ
i nebo – kako je uzdignuto,

وَإِلَى ٱلۡجِبَالِ كَيۡفَ نُصِبَتۡ
i planine – kako su postavljene,

Ayah: 20

وَإِلَى ٱلۡأَرۡضِ كَيۡفَ سُطِحَتۡ
i Zemlju – kako je prostrta?!

Ayah: 21

فَذَكِّرۡ إِنَّمَآ أَنتَ مُذَكِّرٞ
Ti poučavaj – tvoje je da poučavaš,

Ayah: 22

لَّسۡتَ عَلَيۡهِم بِمُصَيۡطِرٍ
ti vlast nad njima nemaš!

Ayah: 23

إِلَّا مَن تَوَلَّىٰ وَكَفَرَ
A onoga koji glavu okreće i neće da vjeruje,

Ayah: 24

فَيُعَذِّبُهُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلۡعَذَابَ ٱلۡأَكۡبَرَ
njega će Allah najvećom mukom mučiti.

إِنَّ إِلَيۡنَآ إِيَابَهُمۡ
Nama će se oni, zaista, vratiti

Ayah: 26

ثُمَّ إِنَّ عَلَيۡنَا حِسَابَهُم
i pred Nama će, doista, račun polagati!
