Translation of the meanings Surah: At-Teen   Ayah:

AT-TÎN

Ayah: 1

وَٱلتِّينِ وَٱلزَّيۡتُونِ
Par le figuier et l’olivier [1076] !
[1076] Le figuier et l’olivier: sont visés par là les pays qui produisent ces fruits en abondance.

Ayah: 2

وَطُورِ سِينِينَ
Et par le Mont Sînîn[ 1077] !
[1077] Il s’agit du Mont Sinaī.

Ayah: 3

وَهَٰذَا ٱلۡبَلَدِ ٱلۡأَمِينِ
Et par cette Cité sûre [1078] !
[1078] Cette Cité sûre: la Mecque. Ce verset ainsi que les deux précédents font allusion aux lieux des révélations des trois religions monothéistes.

Ayah: 4

لَقَدۡ خَلَقۡنَا ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ فِيٓ أَحۡسَنِ تَقۡوِيمٖ
Nous avons certes créé l’homme dans la forme la plus parfaite.

ثُمَّ رَدَدۡنَٰهُ أَسۡفَلَ سَٰفِلِينَ
Ensuite, Nous l’avons ramené au niveau le plus bas,

إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ فَلَهُمۡ أَجۡرٌ غَيۡرُ مَمۡنُونٖ
sauf ceux qui croient et accomplissent les bonnes œuvres: ceux-là auront une récompense jamais interrompue.

Ayah: 7

فَمَا يُكَذِّبُكَ بَعۡدُ بِٱلدِّينِ
Après cela, qu’est-ce qui te fait traiter la rétribution de mensonge ?

Ayah: 8

أَلَيۡسَ ٱللَّهُ بِأَحۡكَمِ ٱلۡحَٰكِمِينَ
Allah n’est-Il pas le plus sage des Juges [1079] ?
[1079] A la fin de cette Sourate, il est recommandé de dire: «Mais si, par mon Seigneur!».
