AL-QÂRI’AH

Purposes of the Surah:
قرع القلوب لاستحضار هول القيامة وأحوال الناس في موازينها.
Elle secoue les cœurs afin qu’ils aient à l’esprit l’effroi de la Résurrection.

Ayah: 1

ٱلۡقَارِعَةُ
L’Heure qui fracasse les cœurs des gens tellement son effroi est grand.

Ayah: 2

مَا ٱلۡقَارِعَةُ
Qu’est-ce cette heure dont le grand effroi fracasse les cœurs des gens?

Ayah: 3

وَمَآ أَدۡرَىٰكَ مَا ٱلۡقَارِعَةُ
Ô Messager, Qu’est-ce cette heure dont le grand effroi fracasse les cœurs des gens? Il s’agit du Jour de la Résurrection.

Ayah: 4

يَوۡمَ يَكُونُ ٱلنَّاسُ كَٱلۡفَرَاشِ ٱلۡمَبۡثُوثِ
Ce Jour-là, les gens seront tels des papillons éparpillés çà et là

Ayah: 5

وَتَكُونُ ٱلۡجِبَالُ كَٱلۡعِهۡنِ ٱلۡمَنفُوشِ
et les montagnes seront semblables à de la laine défaite, tellement elles se déplaceront vite et légèrement.

فَأَمَّا مَن ثَقُلَتۡ مَوَٰزِينُهُۥ
Celui dont les bonnes œuvres sont plus conséquentes que les mauvaises,

Ayah: 7

فَهُوَ فِي عِيشَةٖ رَّاضِيَةٖ
mènera une vie agréable au Paradis.

Ayah: 8

وَأَمَّا مَنۡ خَفَّتۡ مَوَٰزِينُهُۥ
Quant à celui dont les mauvaises œuvres sont plus conséquentes que les bonnes,

فَأُمُّهُۥ هَاوِيَةٞ
sa demeure et son refuge seront l’Enfer le Jour de la Résurrection.

وَمَآ أَدۡرَىٰكَ مَا هِيَهۡ
Ô Messager, sais-tu ce que c’est?

نَارٌ حَامِيَةُۢ
Un Feu à la chaleur très intense.

Benefits of the verses in this page:
• خطر التفاخر والتباهي بالأموال والأولاد.
Il est périlleux de rivaliser en richesse et en progéniture et de s’en vanter.
• القبر مكان زيارة سرعان ما ينتقل منه الناس إلى الدار الآخرة.
La tombe est un lieu que l’on visite puis aussitôt, les gens la quittent pour l’au-delà.
• يوم القيامة يُسْأل الناس عن النعيم الذي أنعم به الله عليهم في الدنيا.
Le Jour de la Résurrection, les gens seront interrogés au sujet des bienfaits qu’Allah les a comblés dans le bas monde.
• الإنسان مجبول على حب المال.
Par nature, l’être humain aime la richesse.
