AT-TAKÂTHOUR

Ayah: 1

أَلۡهَىٰكُمُ ٱلتَّكَاثُرُ
1 La course aux richesses ne cessera de vous accaparer,
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 2

حَتَّىٰ زُرۡتُمُ ٱلۡمَقَابِرَ
2 jusqu’au jour, inéluctable, où vous serez enterrés.

Ayah: 3

كَلَّا سَوۡفَ تَعۡلَمُونَ
3 Mais vous saurez bientôt !

ثُمَّ كَلَّا سَوۡفَ تَعۡلَمُونَ
4 Oui, vous saurez bientôt !

كَلَّا لَوۡ تَعۡلَمُونَ عِلۡمَ ٱلۡيَقِينِ
5 Si seulement vous en aviez la certitude.

لَتَرَوُنَّ ٱلۡجَحِيمَ
6 Vous verrez sans aucun doute le Brasier.

ثُمَّ لَتَرَوُنَّهَا عَيۡنَ ٱلۡيَقِينِ
7 Oui, vous le verrez de vos propres yeux.

Ayah: 8

ثُمَّ لَتُسۡـَٔلُنَّ يَوۡمَئِذٍ عَنِ ٱلنَّعِيمِ
8 Vous devrez, ce Jour-là, répondre de vos jouissances terrestres[1606].
[1606] Avez-vous répondu aux bienfaits de votre Seigneur par la gratitude ?
