Ayah: 1

ٱقۡتَرَبَتِ ٱلسَّاعَةُ وَٱنشَقَّ ٱلۡقَمَرُ
Darngal ngal ɓadike, lewru ndun kadi seekike.
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 2

وَإِن يَرَوۡاْ ءَايَةٗ يُعۡرِضُواْ وَيَقُولُواْ سِحۡرٞ مُّسۡتَمِرّٞ
Si ɓe yi'ii maande, ɓe ɗuurnoo ɓe wi'a: "Ko mbilewu jokkondirngu".

Ayah: 3

وَكَذَّبُواْ وَٱتَّبَعُوٓاْ أَهۡوَآءَهُمۡۚ وَكُلُّ أَمۡرٖ مُّسۡتَقِرّٞ
Ɓe fenni, ɓe jokki mbeleeɗe maɓɓe. Hara le huunde kala no mari ñiiɓirde.

Ayah: 4

وَلَقَدۡ جَآءَهُم مِّنَ ٱلۡأَنۢبَآءِ مَا فِيهِ مُزۡدَجَرٌ
Gomɗii kumpite arii e maɓɓe, ɗe haɗitorɗum woni e mun;

Ayah: 5

حِكۡمَةُۢ بَٰلِغَةٞۖ فَمَا تُغۡنِ ٱلنُّذُرُ
[Ɗum] ko ñeñƴal yottiingal. Kono jertingol ngol nafaali.

Ayah: 6

فَتَوَلَّ عَنۡهُمۡۘ يَوۡمَ يَدۡعُ ٱلدَّاعِ إِلَىٰ شَيۡءٖ نُّكُرٍ
Selu ɓe. Ñalnde noddoowo on noddoyta e huunde añiniinde.

Ayah: 7

خُشَّعًا أَبۡصَٰرُهُمۡ يَخۡرُجُونَ مِنَ ٱلۡأَجۡدَاثِ كَأَنَّهُمۡ جَرَادٞ مُّنتَشِرٞ
jaasuɓe ndaarɗe, hiɓe yaltira e genaale ɗen wano kanuuji caratooɗi.

Ayah: 8

مُّهۡطِعِينَ إِلَى ٱلدَّاعِۖ يَقُولُ ٱلۡكَٰفِرُونَ هَٰذَا يَوۡمٌ عَسِرٞ
heñaniiɓe noddoowo on. Heeferɓe ɓen wi'a: "Ndee ko ñalaande sattunde".

Ayah: 9

۞ كَذَّبَتۡ قَبۡلَهُمۡ قَوۡمُ نُوحٖ فَكَذَّبُواْ عَبۡدَنَا وَقَالُواْ مَجۡنُونٞ وَٱزۡدُجِرَ
Ado maɓɓe, yimɓe nuuhu ɓen yedduno. Ɓe fenni jeyaaɗo Amen on, ɓe wi'i : "Ko jinnaaɗo!", o kammbanaa.

Ayah: 10

فَدَعَا رَبَّهُۥٓ أَنِّي مَغۡلُوبٞ فَٱنتَصِرۡ
O torii Joomi makko, wonnde : "Min on ko mi foolaaɗo, faabo [lam]".

فَفَتَحۡنَآ أَبۡوَٰبَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ بِمَآءٖ مُّنۡهَمِرٖ
Men udditiri dammbuɗe kammu ngun, ndiyam wanncoojam,

Ayah: 12

وَفَجَّرۡنَا ٱلۡأَرۡضَ عُيُونٗا فَٱلۡتَقَى ٱلۡمَآءُ عَلَىٰٓ أَمۡرٖ قَدۡ قُدِرَ
Men fuccitiri leydi ndin ɓulli. Ndiye ɗen fottiri e yamiroore hoddiranoonde.

وَحَمَلۡنَٰهُ عَلَىٰ ذَاتِ أَلۡوَٰحٖ وَدُسُرٖ
Men roondori mo e [laana] lesaaka marka alluwe e peŋe,

تَجۡرِي بِأَعۡيُنِنَا جَزَآءٗ لِّمَن كَانَ كُفِرَ

وَلَقَد تَّرَكۡنَٰهَآ ءَايَةٗ فَهَلۡ مِن مُّدَّكِرٖ
Gomɗii Men accirii [kon ko Men waɗi ɓe] tasakuyee. Taw si woodi waajitorayɗo?

فَكَيۡفَ كَانَ عَذَابِي وَنُذُرِ
Taskii ko honno lepte Am e jertinol (Am) wa'unoo?

وَلَقَدۡ يَسَّرۡنَا ٱلۡقُرۡءَانَ لِلذِّكۡرِ فَهَلۡ مِن مُّدَّكِرٖ
Gomɗii Men newinirii Alqur'aanare nden waajitorgol. Hara wooday waajitorɗo?

كَذَّبَتۡ عَادٞ فَكَيۡفَ كَانَ عَذَابِي وَنُذُرِ
Aadi'en fennuno. Taskee ko honno lepte Am e jertinol (Am) wa'unoo?

إِنَّآ أَرۡسَلۡنَا عَلَيۡهِمۡ رِيحٗا صَرۡصَرٗا فِي يَوۡمِ نَحۡسٖ مُّسۡتَمِرّٖ
Men wurtu e maɓɓe henndu sattundu, e ñalaande hiitaande, duumiinde;

تَنزِعُ ٱلنَّاسَ كَأَنَّهُمۡ أَعۡجَازُ نَخۡلٖ مُّنقَعِرٖ
hindu wippitira yimɓe ɓen, wa si tawii ko ɓe daƴƴe tamaro irtaaɗe.

فَكَيۡفَ كَانَ عَذَابِي وَنُذُرِ

كَذَّبَتۡ ثَمُودُ بِٱلنُّذُرِ
Samuuda'en fennuno waaju ngun,

فَقَالُوٓاْ أَبَشَرٗا مِّنَّا وَٰحِدٗا نَّتَّبِعُهُۥٓ إِنَّآ إِذٗا لَّفِي ضَلَٰلٖ وَسُعُرٍ
ɓe wi'i: "Kere ko neɗɗo gooto e amen woni ko men jokkata? Haray men wonii ontuma e nder majjere e tamperere.

Ayah: 25

أَءُلۡقِيَ ٱلذِّكۡرُ عَلَيۡهِ مِنۢ بَيۡنِنَا بَلۡ هُوَ كَذَّابٌ أَشِرٞ
Hara ko e makko jantoore nden werlaa hakkunde amen? Si ko woni, ko fenoowo nii, townitiiɗo".

سَيَعۡلَمُونَ غَدٗا مَّنِ ٱلۡكَذَّابُ ٱلۡأَشِرُ
Aray ɓe annda (Ñalnde) Janngo, ko hommbo woni fenoowo townitiiɗo on.

Ayah: 27

إِنَّا مُرۡسِلُواْ ٱلنَّاقَةِ فِتۡنَةٗ لَّهُمۡ فَٱرۡتَقِبۡهُمۡ وَٱصۡطَبِرۡ
Ko Men wurtirooɓe ngelooba ndewa mbam, jarribagol ɓe. Aynitu ɓe, muññoɗaa.

Ayah: 28

وَنَبِّئۡهُمۡ أَنَّ ٱلۡمَآءَ قِسۡمَةُۢ بَيۡنَهُمۡۖ كُلُّ شِرۡبٖ مُّحۡتَضَرٞ
Humpitu ɓe wonnde ndiyam ɗam ko sennndaaɗam hakkunde maɓɓe [e ngelooba mbam]; kala yaray geɓal mun.

فَنَادَوۡاْ صَاحِبَهُمۡ فَتَعَاطَىٰ فَعَقَرَ
Ɓe noddi wonndiiɗo maɓɓe, o jonni [kaafa kan], o sodi [mba].

فَكَيۡفَ كَانَ عَذَابِي وَنُذُرِ

Ko haacaango wooturu tun Men wurti e maɓɓe, ɓe wa'i wa ledde yooruɗe muncaaɗe.

وَلَقَدۡ يَسَّرۡنَا ٱلۡقُرۡءَانَ لِلذِّكۡرِ فَهَلۡ مِن مُّدَّكِرٖ
Gomɗii Men newinirii Alqur'aanare nden waajitorgol. Hara wooday waajitorɗo?

كَذَّبَتۡ قَوۡمُ لُوطِۭ بِٱلنُّذُرِ
Yimɓe Luutu ɓen fennuno jertine ɗen.

إِنَّآ أَرۡسَلۡنَا عَلَيۡهِمۡ حَاصِبًا إِلَّآ ءَالَ لُوطٖۖ نَّجَّيۡنَٰهُم بِسَحَرٖ
Men wurtuno henndu kaaƴe e maɓɓe, si wanaa e ɓeynguure Luutu nden, Men daɗndirno ɓen ka wenndo,

Ayah: 35

نِّعۡمَةٗ مِّنۡ عِندِنَاۚ كَذَٰلِكَ نَجۡزِي مَن شَكَرَ
moƴƴere immorde e Amen. Ko non Men yoɓitirta kala yettuɗo [neema Allah on].

Ayah: 36

وَلَقَدۡ أَنذَرَهُم بَطۡشَتَنَا فَتَمَارَوۡاْ بِٱلنُّذُرِ
Gomɗii le o jertinirno ɓe nanngal Amen cattungal ngal. Kono ɓe sikkitii jertinol ngol.

Ayah: 37

وَلَقَدۡ رَٰوَدُوهُ عَن ضَيۡفِهِۦ فَطَمَسۡنَآ أَعۡيُنَهُمۡ فَذُوقُواْ عَذَابِي وَنُذُرِ
Gomɗii ɓe ɗaɓɓirno mo [bonidugol e hoɗɓe makko ɓen]. Men mehi gite maɓɓe ɗen. "Meeɗee lepte ɗen e jertinol Am ngol".

وَلَقَدۡ صَبَّحَهُم بُكۡرَةً عَذَابٞ مُّسۡتَقِرّٞ
Gomɗii ko bimmbi law, woni ko lepte duumiiɗe dawirani ɓe.

فَذُوقُواْ عَذَابِي وَنُذُرِ
"Meeɗee lepte e jertinol Am".

وَلَقَدۡ جَآءَ ءَالَ فِرۡعَوۡنَ ٱلنُّذُرُ
Gomɗii jertinaango ngon arii e yimɓe Fir'awna ɓen.

كَذَّبُواْ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا كُلِّهَا فَأَخَذۡنَٰهُمۡ أَخۡذَ عَزِيزٖ مُّقۡتَدِرٍ
Ɓe fenni Aayeeje Amen ɗen fow. Men nanngiri ɓe, nanngal Fooluɗo Hattanɗo.

أَكُفَّارُكُمۡ خَيۡرٞ مِّنۡ أُوْلَٰٓئِكُمۡ أَمۡ لَكُم بَرَآءَةٞ فِي ٱلزُّبُرِ
Kere ko heeferɓe mon ɓen ɓuri ɓeya moƴƴude? Kaa ko daɗugol woodani on ka Ɗeri?

Ayah: 44

أَمۡ يَقُولُونَ نَحۡنُ جَمِيعٞ مُّنتَصِرٞ
Kaa hara ɓe wi'ay : "Menen ko men dental wallindirooɓe"?

سَيُهۡزَمُ ٱلۡجَمۡعُ وَيُوَلُّونَ ٱلدُّبُرَ
Aray nde dental [maɓɓe] ngal foolee, ɓe runntina ɓabbe maɓɓe.

Ayah: 46

بَلِ ٱلسَّاعَةُ مَوۡعِدُهُمۡ وَٱلسَّاعَةُ أَدۡهَىٰ وَأَمَرُّ
Wurin ko Darngal ngal woni kammbaa maɓɓe on, Ko Darngal non ɓuri mawnude e haaɗude.

إِنَّ ٱلۡمُجۡرِمِينَ فِي ضَلَٰلٖ وَسُعُرٖ
Pellet, bomɓe ɓen wonii e majjere e ooyunge.

يَوۡمَ يُسۡحَبُونَ فِي ٱلنَّارِ عَلَىٰ وُجُوهِهِمۡ ذُوقُواْ مَسَّ سَقَرَ
Ñalnde ɓe daasiroytee geece maɓɓe ɗen ka nder Yiite, (ɓe wi'anee): "Meeɗee meemugol Saqara".

إِنَّا كُلَّ شَيۡءٍ خَلَقۡنَٰهُ بِقَدَرٖ
Menen Men tagir huunde kala e eɓɓoore,

وَمَآ أَمۡرُنَآ إِلَّا وَٰحِدَةٞ كَلَمۡحِۭ بِٱلۡبَصَرِ

وَلَقَدۡ أَهۡلَكۡنَآ أَشۡيَاعَكُمۡ فَهَلۡ مِن مُّدَّكِرٖ
