અલ્ મુદષષિર

Ayah: 1

یٰۤاَیُّهَا الْمُدَّثِّرُ ۟ۙ
૧) હે (મુહમ્મદ) જે ચાદર ઓઢી સૂઈ રહ્યા છો.

قُمْ فَاَنْذِرْ ۟ۙ
૨) ઉઠો અને (લોકોને ખરાબ પરિણામથી) ડરાવો.

وَرَبَّكَ فَكَبِّرْ ۟ۙ
૩) અને પોતાના પાલનહારની મહાનતા બયાન કરો

وَثِیَابَكَ فَطَهِّرْ ۟ۙ
૪) અને પોતાના કપડા પાક સાફ રાખો.

وَالرُّجْزَ فَاهْجُرْ ۟ۙ
૫) અને ગંદકીથી દૂર રહો.

وَلَا تَمْنُنْ تَسْتَكْثِرُ ۟ۙ
૬) અને વધુ પ્રાપ્તિ માટે એહસાન ન કરશો.

وَلِرَبِّكَ فَاصْبِرْ ۟ؕ
૭) અને પોતાના પાલનહાર માટે સબર કરો.

فَاِذَا نُقِرَ فِی النَّاقُوْرِ ۟ۙ
૮) ફરી જ્યારે સૂરમાં ફૂંક મારવામાં આવશે.

فَذٰلِكَ یَوْمَىِٕذٍ یَّوْمٌ عَسِیْرٌ ۟ۙ
૯) તો તે દિવસ ખૂબ જ ભારે હશે.

عَلَی الْكٰفِرِیْنَ غَیْرُ یَسِیْرٍ ۟
૧૦) કાફિરો માટે સરળ નહિ હોય.

ذَرْنِیْ وَمَنْ خَلَقْتُ وَحِیْدًا ۟ۙ
૧૧) તે વ્યક્તિની બાબત મારા પર છોડી દો, જેને મેં એકલો પેદા કર્યો છે.

وَّجَعَلْتُ لَهٗ مَالًا مَّمْدُوْدًا ۟ۙ
૧૨) તેને ખૂબ માલ આપ્યો.

وَّبَنِیْنَ شُهُوْدًا ۟ۙ
૧૩) અને દરેક સમયે હાજર રહેવાવાળા બાળકો આપ્યા.

وَّمَهَّدْتُّ لَهٗ تَمْهِیْدًا ۟ۙ
૧૪) અને દરેક રીતે તેના માટે માર્ગ સરળ બનાવ્યો.

ثُمَّ یَطْمَعُ اَنْ اَزِیْدَ ۟ۙ
૧૫) પછી પણ લાલચ રાખે છે કે હું તેને હજુ વધારે આપું.

كَلَّا ؕ— اِنَّهٗ كَانَ لِاٰیٰتِنَا عَنِیْدًا ۟ؕ
૧૬) આવું ક્યારેય નહિ થાય કેમકે તે અમારી આયતોથી દુશ્મની રાખે છે.

سَاُرْهِقُهٗ صَعُوْدًا ۟ؕ
૧૭) હું નજીક માંજ તેને સખત ચઢાવીશ.

اِنَّهٗ فَكَّرَ وَقَدَّرَ ۟ۙ
૧૮) તેણે વિચાર કર્યો અને વાતો બનાવવાનો પ્રયત્ન કર્યો.

فَقُتِلَ كَیْفَ قَدَّرَ ۟ۙ
૧૯) બસ તેને નષ્ટ કરી દેવામાં આવે, તેણે કેવી વાત બનાવી?

ثُمَّ قُتِلَ كَیْفَ قَدَّرَ ۟ۙ
૨૦) પછી તેને નષ્ટ કરી દેવામાં આવે, તેણે કેવી વાત બનાવી?

ثُمَّ نَظَرَ ۟ۙ
૨૧) તેણે (પોતાના સાથીઓ તરફ) જોયુ.

ثُمَّ عَبَسَ وَبَسَرَ ۟ۙ
૨૨) પછી તેણે કપાળ ચઢાવ્યું અને મોઢું બગાડ્યુ.

ثُمَّ اَدْبَرَ وَاسْتَكْبَرَ ۟ۙ
૨૩) પછી ત્યાંથી જતો રહ્યો અને ઘમંડ કરવા લાગ્યો.

فَقَالَ اِنْ هٰذَاۤ اِلَّا سِحْرٌ یُّؤْثَرُ ۟ۙ
૨૪) અને કહેવા લાગ્યો કે આ તો ફકત જાદુ છે, જે નકલ કરવામાં આવી રહ્યું છે.

اِنْ هٰذَاۤ اِلَّا قَوْلُ الْبَشَرِ ۟ؕ
૨૫) આ તો માનવીની જ વાત છે.

سَاُصْلِیْهِ سَقَرَ ۟
૨૬) હું નજીકમાં તેને જહન્નમમાં નાખીશ.

وَمَاۤ اَدْرٰىكَ مَا سَقَرُ ۟ؕ
૨૭) અને તમને શું ખબર કે જહન્નમ શું છે ?

لَا تُبْقِیْ وَلَا تَذَرُ ۟ۚ
૨૮) ન તે બાકી રાખશે અને ન તો છોડશે.

لَوَّاحَةٌ لِّلْبَشَرِ ۟ۚ
૨૯) ચામડીને બાળી નાખશે.

عَلَیْهَا تِسْعَةَ عَشَرَ ۟ؕ
૩૦) અને તેના પર ઓગણીસ (ફરિશ્તાઓ નક્કી) છે.

وَمَا جَعَلْنَاۤ اَصْحٰبَ النَّارِ اِلَّا مَلٰٓىِٕكَةً ۪— وَّمَا جَعَلْنَا عِدَّتَهُمْ اِلَّا فِتْنَةً لِّلَّذِیْنَ كَفَرُوْا ۙ— لِیَسْتَیْقِنَ الَّذِیْنَ اُوْتُوا الْكِتٰبَ وَیَزْدَادَ الَّذِیْنَ اٰمَنُوْۤا اِیْمَانًا وَّلَا یَرْتَابَ الَّذِیْنَ اُوْتُوا الْكِتٰبَ وَالْمُؤْمِنُوْنَ ۙ— وَلِیَقُوْلَ الَّذِیْنَ فِیْ قُلُوْبِهِمْ مَّرَضٌ وَّالْكٰفِرُوْنَ مَاذَاۤ اَرَادَ اللّٰهُ بِهٰذَا مَثَلًا ؕ— كَذٰلِكَ یُضِلُّ اللّٰهُ مَنْ یَّشَآءُ وَیَهْدِیْ مَنْ یَّشَآءُ ؕ— وَمَا یَعْلَمُ جُنُوْدَ رَبِّكَ اِلَّا هُوَ ؕ— وَمَا هِیَ اِلَّا ذِكْرٰی لِلْبَشَرِ ۟۠
૩૧) અમે જહન્નમની દેખરેખ રાખનાર ફકત ફરિશ્તાઓ રાખ્યા છે અને અમે તેમની સંખ્યાને કાફિરો માટે કસોટી બનાવી છે. જેથી અહલે કિતાબ યકીન કરવા લાગે કે ઇમાનવાળાઓના ઇમાનમાં વધારો થાય અને અહલે કિતાબ અને ઇમાનવાળા કોઈ શંકા ન કરે અને જેના હૃદયોમાં બિમારી છે તે અને ઇન્કારી કહે કે આ બયાનથી અલ્લાહ તઆલા શું ઇચ્છે છે ? આવી જ રીતે અલ્લાહ તઆલા જેને ઇચ્છે છે, તેને ગુમરાહ કરી દે છે અને જેને ઇચ્છે, હિદાયત પર લાવી દે છે અને તમારા પાલનહારના લશ્કરને તેના સિવાય કોઇ નથી જાણતુ. આ (જહન્નમનું વર્ણન) ફક્ત એટલા માટે કે લોકો શિખામણ પ્રાપ્ત કરે.

كَلَّا وَالْقَمَرِ ۟ۙ
૩૨) (પરંતુ આ લોકો ક્યારેય શિખામણ પ્રાપ્ત નહી કરે) ચંદ્રની કસમ.

وَالَّیْلِ اِذْ اَدْبَرَ ۟ۙ
૩૩) અને રાતની, જ્યારે તે જવા લાગે.

وَالصُّبْحِ اِذَاۤ اَسْفَرَ ۟ۙ
૩૪) અને સવારની, જ્યારે તે પ્રકાશિત થઇ જાય.

اِنَّهَا لَاِحْدَی الْكُبَرِ ۟ۙ
૩૫) કે (નિ:શંક તે જહન્નમ) મોટી વસ્તુઓમાંથી એક છે.

نَذِیْرًا لِّلْبَشَرِ ۟ۙ
૩૬) તે માનવીઓ માટે ભયનું કારણ છે.

لِمَنْ شَآءَ مِنْكُمْ اَنْ یَّتَقَدَّمَ اَوْ یَتَاَخَّرَ ۟ؕ
૩૭) જે તમારા માંથી આગળ વધવા ઈચ્છે અથવા પાછળ રહેવા ઈચ્છે.

كُلُّ نَفْسٍ بِمَا كَسَبَتْ رَهِیْنَةٌ ۟ۙ
૩૮) દરેક વ્યક્તિ પોતાના કાર્યોના બદલામાં ગિરવે છે.

اِلَّاۤ اَصْحٰبَ الْیَمِیْنِ ۟ؕۛ
૩૯) સિવાય જમણા હાથવાળા.

فِیْ جَنّٰتٍ ۛ۫— یَتَسَآءَلُوْنَ ۟ۙ
૪૦) કે તેઓ જન્નતોમાં હશે, તેઓ પૂછી રહ્યા હશે.

عَنِ الْمُجْرِمِیْنَ ۟ۙ
૪૧) ગુનેગાર વિશે

مَا سَلَكَكُمْ فِیْ سَقَرَ ۟
૪૨) તમને જહન્નમમાં કઇ વસ્તુ લઈને આવી.

قَالُوْا لَمْ نَكُ مِنَ الْمُصَلِّیْنَ ۟ۙ
૪૩) તેઓ જવાબ આપશે કે અમે નમાઝ નહતા પઢતા.

وَلَمْ نَكُ نُطْعِمُ الْمِسْكِیْنَ ۟ۙ
૪૪) ન તો લાચારોને ખાવાનુ ખવડાવતા હતા.

وَكُنَّا نَخُوْضُ مَعَ الْخَآىِٕضِیْنَ ۟ۙ
૪૫) અને અમે વાદવિવાદ કરનારની સાથે વ્યસ્ત રહેતા હતાં.

وَكُنَّا نُكَذِّبُ بِیَوْمِ الدِّیْنِ ۟ۙ
૪૬) અને બદલાના દિવસને જૂઠલાવતા હતા.

حَتّٰۤی اَتٰىنَا الْیَقِیْنُ ۟ؕ
૪૭) અહીં સુધી કે અમને મોત આવી ગઈ.

فَمَا تَنْفَعُهُمْ شَفَاعَةُ الشّٰفِعِیْنَ ۟ؕ
૪૮) (તે સમયે) ભલામણ કરનારાઓની ભલામણ તેમને કઈ ફાયદો નહીં પહોંચાડી શકે.

فَمَا لَهُمْ عَنِ التَّذْكِرَةِ مُعْرِضِیْنَ ۟ۙ
૪૯) તેમને શું થઇ ગયું છે ? કે શિખામણથી મોઢું ફેરવી રહ્યા છે.

كَاَنَّهُمْ حُمُرٌ مُّسْتَنْفِرَةٌ ۟ۙ
૫૦) જાણે કે તેઓ જંગલી ગધેડા હોય.

فَرَّتْ مِنْ قَسْوَرَةٍ ۟ؕ
૫૧) જે સિંહથી ડરીને ભાગ્યા હોય.

بَلْ یُرِیْدُ كُلُّ امْرِئٍ مِّنْهُمْ اَنْ یُّؤْتٰی صُحُفًا مُّنَشَّرَةً ۟ۙ
૫૨) પરંતુ તેમના માંથી દરેક વ્યક્તિ ઇચ્છે છે કે તેને સ્પષ્ટ કિતાબ આપવામાં આવે.

Ayah: 53

كَلَّا ؕ— بَلْ لَّا یَخَافُوْنَ الْاٰخِرَةَ ۟ؕ
૫૩) ક્યારેય નહિ, સાચી વાત એ કે આ લોકો આખિરતથી નથી ડરતા.

كَلَّاۤ اِنَّهٗ تَذْكِرَةٌ ۟ۚ
૫૪) સત્ય વાત તો એ છે કે આ (કુરઆન) એક શિખામણ છે.

فَمَنْ شَآءَ ذَكَرَهٗ ۟ؕ
૫૫) હવે જે ઇચ્છે, તે શિખામણ પ્રાપ્ત કરે.

وَمَا یَذْكُرُوْنَ اِلَّاۤ اَنْ یَّشَآءَ اللّٰهُ ؕ— هُوَ اَهْلُ التَّقْوٰی وَاَهْلُ الْمَغْفِرَةِ ۟۠
૫૬) અને તેઓ શિખામણ પ્રાપ્ત નહિ કરે પરંતુ એ કે અલ્લાહ તઆલા ઇચ્છે, તે (અલ્લાહ) જ આનો હકદાર છે કે તેનાથી ડરવામાં આવે, અને તે જ માફ કરવાવાળો છે.
