א-תכוויר

Ayah: 1

إِذَا ٱلشَّمۡسُ كُوِّرَتۡ
1 כאשר תחשיך השמש,

وَإِذَا ٱلنُّجُومُ ٱنكَدَرَتۡ
2 והכוכבים יאבדו את אורם,

وَإِذَا ٱلۡجِبَالُ سُيِّرَتۡ
3 וההרים יעקרו ממקומם,

وَإِذَا ٱلۡعِشَارُ عُطِّلَتۡ
4 וכאשר הנאקות ההרות, הריונם ייפסק,

وَإِذَا ٱلۡوُحُوشُ حُشِرَتۡ
5 וכל החיות יקובצו לאותו המקום,

وَإِذَا ٱلۡبِحَارُ سُجِّرَتۡ
6 וכאשר הים יבער באש,

وَإِذَا ٱلنُّفُوسُ زُوِّجَتۡ
7 וכאשר הנשמות יחולקו,

وَإِذَا ٱلۡمَوۡءُۥدَةُ سُئِلَتۡ
8 וכאשר הילדה שנקברה בעודה בחיים תישאל,

بِأَيِّ ذَنۢبٖ قُتِلَتۡ
9 בעבור איזה חטא היא נרצחה?

وَإِذَا ٱلصُّحُفُ نُشِرَتۡ
10 וכאשר יפתחו הספרים שתיעדו את מעשיהם של בני האדם

وَإِذَا ٱلسَّمَآءُ كُشِطَتۡ
11 וכאשר יפתחו השמיים,

وَإِذَا ٱلۡجَحِيمُ سُعِّرَتۡ
12 וכאשר השאול יעלה באש,

وَإِذَا ٱلۡجَنَّةُ أُزۡلِفَتۡ
13 וכאשר גן העדן יגיע,

عَلِمَتۡ نَفۡسٞ مَّآ أَحۡضَرَتۡ
14 אז תדע כל נפש את אשר הביאה לעצמה.

فَلَآ أُقۡسِمُ بِٱلۡخُنَّسِ
15 ואכן אני נשבע גם בכוכבים הנסוגים...

ٱلۡجَوَارِ ٱلۡكُنَّسِ
16 הכוכבים אשר נעים במסלול אשר נקבע להם...

وَٱلَّيۡلِ إِذَا عَسۡعَسَ
17 ובלילה כשהוא יורד ומחשיך,

وَٱلصُّبۡحِ إِذَا تَنَفَّسَ
18 ובנשימתו של הבוקר בעת עלייתו,

إِنَّهُۥ لَقَوۡلُ رَسُولٖ كَرِيمٖ
19 שאכן הדברים הללו ניתנו באמצעות שליח מכובד

ذِي قُوَّةٍ عِندَ ذِي ٱلۡعَرۡشِ مَكِينٖ
20 אשר בורך בכוחות, ולו שמור מקום של כבוד אצל אדון כס-המלכות,

مُّطَاعٖ ثَمَّ أَمِينٖ
21 (המלאכים) יעשו כדברו, מפני שאכן הוא נאמן.

وَمَا صَاحِبُكُم بِمَجۡنُونٖ
22 זה שבא מקרבכם (הנביא מוחמד) אינו אחוז דיבוק,

وَلَقَدۡ رَءَاهُ بِٱلۡأُفُقِ ٱلۡمُبِينِ
23 הוא בצדק ראה אותו (את המלאך גבריאל) באופק הבהיר,

وَمَا هُوَ عَلَى ٱلۡغَيۡبِ بِضَنِينٖ
24 והוא לא מצר עיניו על הלא נודע,

وَمَا هُوَ بِقَوۡلِ شَيۡطَٰنٖ رَّجِيمٖ
25 וזה ממש לא דבריו של השטן הארור.

فَأَيۡنَ تَذۡهَبُونَ
26 אז לאן אתם הולכים?

Ayah: 27

إِنۡ هُوَ إِلَّا ذِكۡرٞ لِّلۡعَٰلَمِينَ
27 זו הזהרה בהירה לכל האנושות.

لِمَن شَآءَ مِنكُمۡ أَن يَسۡتَقِيمَ
28 לכל מי שמעוניין מכם ללכת בדרך הישרה,

Ayah: 29

وَمَا تَشَآءُونَ إِلَّآ أَن يَشَآءَ ٱللَّهُ رَبُّ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ
29 אך לעולם לא תוכלו לרצות אלא אם ירצה בכך ריבון העולמים.
