אל-אעלא

Ayah: 1

سَبِّحِ ٱسۡمَ رَبِّكَ ٱلۡأَعۡلَى
1 שבח את שמו של ריבונך העליון,
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 2

ٱلَّذِي خَلَقَ فَسَوَّىٰ
2 אשר ברא ונתן צורה.

Ayah: 3

وَٱلَّذِي قَدَّرَ فَهَدَىٰ
3 ואשר קבע והדריך,

Ayah: 4

وَٱلَّذِيٓ أَخۡرَجَ ٱلۡمَرۡعَىٰ
4 ואשר הצמיח את המרעה,

Ayah: 5

فَجَعَلَهُۥ غُثَآءً أَحۡوَىٰ
5 ולאחר מכן הופך אותו לעשב נובל שחור.

سَنُقۡرِئُكَ فَلَا تَنسَىٰٓ
6 אנו נביאך לקריאת הקוראן בלי לשכוח אותו,

Ayah: 7

إِلَّا مَا شَآءَ ٱللَّهُۚ إِنَّهُۥ يَعۡلَمُ ٱلۡجَهۡرَ وَمَا يَخۡفَىٰ
7 מלבד מה שאללה ירצה. אכן, הוא יודע את הגלוי ואת החבוי.

وَنُيَسِّرُكَ لِلۡيُسۡرَىٰ
8 אנו ננחה אותך לדרך אללה המועדפת.

فَذَكِّرۡ إِن نَّفَعَتِ ٱلذِّكۡرَىٰ
9 הטף (להם), אם ההטפה תשנה (אותם) לטובה!

سَيَذَّكَّرُ مَن يَخۡشَىٰ
10 מי שיפיק תועלת ממנה הוא הירא.

وَيَتَجَنَّبُهَا ٱلۡأَشۡقَى
11 אך, הכופר יתעלם ממנה.

ٱلَّذِي يَصۡلَى ٱلنَّارَ ٱلۡكُبۡرَىٰ
12 ולכן, הוא יישרף באש (הגיהינום) הכבירה,

ثُمَّ لَا يَمُوتُ فِيهَا وَلَا يَحۡيَىٰ
13 שבה הוא לא ימות ולא יחיה!

قَدۡ أَفۡلَحَ مَن تَزَكَّىٰ
14 אך, יזכה מי שהיטהר (האמין),

وَذَكَرَ ٱسۡمَ رَبِّهِۦ فَصَلَّىٰ
15 והילל את ריבונו והתפלל.

بَلۡ تُؤۡثِرُونَ ٱلۡحَيَوٰةَ ٱلدُّنۡيَا
16 אולם, אתם מחשיבים את העולם הזה.

وَٱلۡأٓخِرَةُ خَيۡرٞ وَأَبۡقَىٰٓ
17 אף שהעולם הבא עדיף יותר ונשאר לתמיד.

إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَفِي ٱلصُّحُفِ ٱلۡأُولَىٰ
18 אכן, זה (נזכר) בספרי הקודש המקוריים הקודמים,

صُحُفِ إِبۡرَٰهِيمَ وَمُوسَىٰ
19 בספרי הקודש המקוריים של אברהם ושל משה.
