אל-בלד

Ayah: 1

لَآ أُقۡسِمُ بِهَٰذَا ٱلۡبَلَدِ
1 אני נשבע בעיר הזאת,

Ayah: 2

وَأَنتَ حِلُّۢ بِهَٰذَا ٱلۡبَلَدِ
2 ואתה שוכן בעיר הזאת,

وَوَالِدٖ وَمَا وَلَدَ
3 ובהורה ובצאצאיו:

Ayah: 4

لَقَدۡ خَلَقۡنَا ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ فِي كَبَدٍ
4 שבראנו את האדם לטרחה.

Ayah: 5

أَيَحۡسَبُ أَن لَّن يَقۡدِرَ عَلَيۡهِ أَحَدٞ
5 האם הוא סובר שלא יעלה בידי אף אחד לגבור עליו?

Ayah: 6

يَقُولُ أَهۡلَكۡتُ مَالٗا لُّبَدًا
6 הוא אומר: כבר בזבזתי ממון רב!

أَيَحۡسَبُ أَن لَّمۡ يَرَهُۥٓ أَحَدٌ
7 האם הוא בצדק סובר שאף אחד לא צפה בו?

أَلَمۡ نَجۡعَل لَّهُۥ عَيۡنَيۡنِ
8 האם לא בראנו לו זוג עיניים?

وَلِسَانٗا وَشَفَتَيۡنِ
9 ולשון? וזוג שפתיים?

Ayah: 10

وَهَدَيۡنَٰهُ ٱلنَّجۡدَيۡنِ
10 והראינו לו את שני השבילים?

Ayah: 11

فَلَا ٱقۡتَحَمَ ٱلۡعَقَبَةَ
11 אך, הוא לא התאמץ לעבור את המכשול.

Ayah: 12

وَمَآ أَدۡرَىٰكَ مَا ٱلۡعَقَبَةُ
12 והאם נהיר לך מה המכשול?

Ayah: 13

فَكُّ رَقَبَةٍ
13 (המכשול) הוא לשחרר עבד!

أَوۡ إِطۡعَٰمٞ فِي يَوۡمٖ ذِي مَسۡغَبَةٖ
14 או להזין (עני) בעת רעב,

يَتِيمٗا ذَا مَقۡرَبَةٍ
15 (להזין) יתום בעל קרבת דם,

Ayah: 16

أَوۡ مِسۡكِينٗا ذَا مَتۡرَبَةٖ
16 או דל במצוקה.

Ayah: 17

ثُمَّ كَانَ مِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَتَوَاصَوۡاْ بِٱلصَّبۡرِ وَتَوَاصَوۡاْ بِٱلۡمَرۡحَمَةِ
17 ולהיות בין אלה אשר האמינו המטיפים איש לרעהו להיות סבלנים ורחומים,

Ayah: 18

أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ أَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلۡمَيۡمَنَةِ
18 אלה, הם שיקבלו את ספר מעשיהם ביד ימין.

Ayah: 19

وَٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا هُمۡ أَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلۡمَشۡـَٔمَةِ
19 אך, אלה הכופרים בדברינו, הם שיקבלו את ספר מעשיהם ביד שמאל.

عَلَيۡهِمۡ نَارٞ مُّؤۡصَدَةُۢ
20 אש הגיהינום מקיפה אותם ללא מפלט!
