א-שמס

Ayah: 1

وَٱلشَّمۡسِ وَضُحَىٰهَا
1 (שבועה) בשמש ובאורה הזוהר
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 2

وَٱلۡقَمَرِ إِذَا تَلَىٰهَا
2 ובירח הבא בעקבותיה,

Ayah: 3

وَٱلنَّهَارِ إِذَا جَلَّىٰهَا
3 וביום החושף את היקום (באורו),

Ayah: 4

وَٱلَّيۡلِ إِذَا يَغۡشَىٰهَا
4 ובלילה המכסה את היקום (בחשכתו).

Ayah: 5

وَٱلسَّمَآءِ وَمَا بَنَىٰهَا
5 ובשמיים ובמי שעיצב אותם!

Ayah: 6

وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَمَا طَحَىٰهَا
6 ובאדמה ובמי שהפך אותה שטוחה!

Ayah: 7

وَنَفۡسٖ وَمَا سَوَّىٰهَا
7 ובנשמה ובמי שעיצב אותה בשלמות,

فَأَلۡهَمَهَا فُجُورَهَا وَتَقۡوَىٰهَا
8 והדריך אותה להבחין בין טוב לרע,

Ayah: 9

قَدۡ أَفۡلَحَ مَن زَكَّىٰهَا
9 אכן, זכה מי שטיהר אותה (מחטאים)!

وَقَدۡ خَابَ مَن دَسَّىٰهَا
10 ואז אשר השחית אותה ודאי ייכשל!

كَذَّبَتۡ ثَمُودُ بِطَغۡوَىٰهَآ
11 בני שבט ת'מוד כפרו בצדק (האסלאם) בגלל שאוננותם.

إِذِ ٱنۢبَعَثَ أَشۡقَىٰهَا
12 כאשר מיהר מתוכם האדם המרושע ביותר.

فَقَالَ لَهُمۡ رَسُولُ ٱللَّهِ نَاقَةَ ٱللَّهِ وَسُقۡيَٰهَا
13 אז, אמר להם שליחו של אללה (הנביא סאלח): “זו נאקת אללה, הניחו לה לשתות מחלקה במים!”.

Ayah: 14

فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَعَقَرُوهَا فَدَمۡدَمَ عَلَيۡهِمۡ رَبُّهُم بِذَنۢبِهِمۡ فَسَوَّىٰهَا
14 אולם, הם כפרו בו, ושחטו אותה. לכן, ריבונם השמידם מחמת הפשע שהם ביצעו והחריבם לחלוטין

وَلَا يَخَافُ عُقۡبَٰهَا
15 ואינו פוחד מהשלכות.
