Ayah: 1

ٱقۡرَأۡ بِٱسۡمِ رَبِّكَ ٱلَّذِي خَلَقَ
1 קרא בשם ריבונך אשר ברא!

خَلَقَ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ مِنۡ عَلَقٍ
2 בוא את האדם מקריש דם נצמד!

ٱقۡرَأۡ وَرَبُّكَ ٱلۡأَكۡرَمُ
3 קרא! וריבונך הנותן בשפע!

ٱلَّذِي عَلَّمَ بِٱلۡقَلَمِ
4 אשר לימד בעט,

Ayah: 5

عَلَّمَ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ مَا لَمۡ يَعۡلَمۡ
5 לימד את האדם את אשר לא ידע.

كَلَّآ إِنَّ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ لَيَطۡغَىٰٓ
6 לא ולא! אכן האדם מפריז במריו,

أَن رَّءَاهُ ٱسۡتَغۡنَىٰٓ
7 בחשבו שאינו זקוק לו.

إِنَّ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ ٱلرُّجۡعَىٰٓ
8 אכן, אל ריבונך תשוב.

أَرَءَيۡتَ ٱلَّذِي يَنۡهَىٰ
9 הראית את זה שמונע,

عَبۡدًا إِذَا صَلَّىٰٓ
10 מעבד להתפלל.

أَرَءَيۡتَ إِن كَانَ عَلَى ٱلۡهُدَىٰٓ
11 הראית אם היה בדרך הישר?

أَوۡ أَمَرَ بِٱلتَّقۡوَىٰٓ
12 או הטיף ליראת אללה?

Ayah: 13

أَرَءَيۡتَ إِن كَذَّبَ وَتَوَلَّىٰٓ
13 הראית אם ישקר ויפנה עורף?

أَلَمۡ يَعۡلَم بِأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَرَىٰ
14 הלא ידע שאללה רואה אותו?

كَلَّا لَئِن لَّمۡ يَنتَهِ لَنَسۡفَعَۢا بِٱلنَّاصِيَةِ
15 לא ולא! במידה וימשיך, אנחנו נסחב אותו מקדמת ראשו,

نَاصِيَةٖ كَٰذِبَةٍ خَاطِئَةٖ
16 קדמת ראשו הכוזבת, החוטאת.

فَلۡيَدۡعُ نَادِيَهُۥ
17 ואז, שיקרא לחבורתו,

سَنَدۡعُ ٱلزَّبَانِيَةَ
18 אנחנו נזמן את מלאכי הגיהינום!

كَلَّا لَا تُطِعۡهُ وَٱسۡجُدۡۤ وَٱقۡتَرِب۩
19 לא ולא! אל תיכנע לו, ותסגוד והתקרב.
