Translation of the meanings Ayah: (3) Surah: Al-‘Asr
اِلَّا الَّذِیْنَ اٰمَنُوْا وَعَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِ وَتَوَاصَوْا بِالْحَقِّ ۙ۬— وَتَوَاصَوْا بِالصَّبْرِ ۟۠
सिवाय उन लोगों के जो ईमान लाए तथा उन्होंने सत्कर्म किए और एक-दूसरे को सत्य की ताकीद की और एक-दूसरे को धैर्य की ताकीद की।[2]
2. इसका अर्थ यह है कि परलोक की क्षति से बचने के लिए मात्र ईमान ही पर बस नहीं, इसके लिए सदाचार भी आवश्यक है और उसमें से विशेष रूप से सत्य और सहनशीलता और दूसरों को इनकी शिक्षा देते रहना भी आवश्यक है। (तर्जुमानुल क़ुरआन, मौलाना आज़ाद)
