Translation of the meanings Ayah: (24) Surah: Yūsuf
وَلَقَدْ هَمَّتْ بِهٖ وَهَمَّ بِهَا لَوْلَاۤ اَنْ رَّاٰ بُرْهَانَ رَبِّهٖ ؕ— كَذٰلِكَ لِنَصْرِفَ عَنْهُ السُّوْٓءَ وَالْفَحْشَآءَ ؕ— اِنَّهٗ مِنْ عِبَادِنَا الْمُخْلَصِیْنَ ۟
और निश्चय ही वह स्त्री उसकी इच्छा कर चुकी थी। और वह (यूसुफ़) भी उसकी इच्छा कर लेता, यदि अपने पालनहार का प्रमाण न देख लेता।[7] हमने ऐसा इसलिए किया ताकि बुराई एवं अश्लीलता को उससे दूर रखें। वास्तव में, वह हमारे चुने हुए बंदों में से था।
7. यूसुफ़ अलैहिस्सलाम कोई फ़रिश्ता नहीं एक मनुष्य थे। इसलिए बुराई का इरादा कर सकते थे, किंतु उसी समय उनके दिल में यह बात आई कि मैं पाप करके अल्लाह की पकड़ से बच नहीं सकूँगा। इस प्रकार अल्लाह ने उन्हें बुराई से बचा लिया, जो यूसुफ़ (अलैहिस्सलाम) की बहुत बड़ी प्रधानता है।
