Translation of the meanings Ayah: (22) Surah: Ar-Rūm
وَمِنْ اٰیٰتِهٖ خَلْقُ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضِ وَاخْتِلَافُ اَلْسِنَتِكُمْ وَاَلْوَانِكُمْ ؕ— اِنَّ فِیْ ذٰلِكَ لَاٰیٰتٍ لِّلْعٰلِمِیْنَ ۟
तथा उसकी निशानियों में से आकाशों और धरती को पैदा करना तथा तुम्हारी भाषाओं और तुम्हारे रंगों का अलग-अलग होना है। निःसंदेह इसमें ज्ञान रखने वालों के लिए निश्चय बहुत-सी निशानियाँ[8] है।
8. क़ुरआन ने यह कहकर कि भाषाओं और वर्ग-वर्ण का भेद अल्लाह की रचना की निशानियाँ हैं, उस भेद-भाव को सदा के लिए समाप्त कर दिया, जो पक्षपात, आपसी बैर और र्गव का आधार बनते हैं। और संसार की शांति को भंग करने का कारण होते हैं। (देखिए : सूरतुल ह़ुजुरात, आयत : 13) यदि आज भी इस्लाम की इस शिक्षा को अपना लिया जाए तो संसार शांति का गहवारा बन सकता है।
