ءَاَتَّخِذُ مِنْ دُوْنِهٖۤ اٰلِهَةً اِنْ یُّرِدْنِ الرَّحْمٰنُ بِضُرٍّ لَّا تُغْنِ عَنِّیْ شَفَاعَتُهُمْ شَیْـًٔا وَّلَا یُنْقِذُوْنِ ۟ۚ
क्या मैं उसे छोड़कर दूसरे पूज्य बना लूँ? यदि रहमान (अत्यंत दयावान् अल्लाह) मुझे कोई हानि पहुँचाना चाहे, तो उनकी सिफ़ारिश मुझे कुछ लाभ नहीं पहुँचा सकेगी और न वे मुझे बचा सकेंगे।
