Translation of the meanings Ayah: (25) Surah: Ash-Shūra
وَهُوَ الَّذِیْ یَقْبَلُ التَّوْبَةَ عَنْ عِبَادِهٖ وَیَعْفُوْا عَنِ السَّیِّاٰتِ وَیَعْلَمُ مَا تَفْعَلُوْنَ ۟ۙ
वही है, जो अपने बंदों की तौबा क़बूल करता है और बुराइयों[23] को माफ़ करता है और जो कुछ तुम करते हो, उसे जानता है।
23. तौबा का अर्थ है अपने पाप पर लज्जित होना, फिर उसे न करने का संकल्प लेना। ह़दीस में है कि जब बंदा अपना पाप स्वीकार कर लेता है और फिर तौबा करता है, तो अल्लाह उसे क्षमा कर देता है। (सह़ीह बुख़ारी : 4141, सह़ीह़ मुस्लिम : 2770)
