Ayah: 15

اِنَّاۤ اَرْسَلْنَاۤ اِلَیْكُمْ رَسُوْلًا ۙ۬— شَاهِدًا عَلَیْكُمْ كَمَاۤ اَرْسَلْنَاۤ اِلٰی فِرْعَوْنَ رَسُوْلًا ۟ؕ
निःसंदेह हमने तुम्हारी ओर एक रसूल[3] भेजा, जो तुमपर गवाही देने वाला है, जिस प्रकार हमने फ़िरऔन की ओर एक रसूल भेजा।
3. अर्थात मुह़म्मद (सल्लल्लाहु अलैहि व सल्लम) को। गवाह होने के अर्थ के लिए देखिए : सूरतुल-बक़रा, आयत : 143, तथा सूरतुल-ह़ज्ज, आयत : 78। इसमें चेतावनी है कि यदि तुमने अवज्ञा की, तो तुम्हारी दशा भी फ़िरऔन जैसी होगी।
