Ayah: 2

قُمِ الَّیْلَ اِلَّا قَلِیْلًا ۟ۙ
रात्रि के समय (नमाज़ में) खड़े रहें, सिवाय उसके थोड़े भाग के।[1]
1. ह़दीस में है कि नबी (सल्लल्लाहु अलैहि व सल्लम) रात में इतनी नमाज़ पढ़ते थे कि आपके पैर सूज जाते थे। आपसे कहा गया : ऐसा क्यों करते हैं? जबकि अल्लाह ने आपके पहले और पिछले गुनाह क्षमा कर दिए हैं? आपने कहा : क्या मैं उसका कृतज्ञ बंदा न बनूँ? (बुख़ारी : 1130, मुस्लिम : 2819)
