قَدۡ خَلَتۡ مِن قَبۡلِكُمۡ سُنَنٞ فَسِيرُواْ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ فَٱنظُرُواْ كَيۡفَ كَانَ عَٰقِبَةُ ٱلۡمُكَذِّبِينَ
137. Sungguh, telah berlalu sebelum kamu sunnah-sunnah (Allah),*(146) karena itu berjalanlah kamu ke (segenap penjuru) bumi dan perhatikanlah bagaimana kesudahan orang-orang yang mendustakan (rasul-rasul).
*146). Yang dimaksud dengan sunnah Allah di sini ialah hukuman-hukuman Allah yang berupa malapetaka, bencana yang ditimpakan kepada orang-orang yang mendustakan rasul.
