Al-‘Adiyât

Ayah: 1

وَٱلۡعَٰدِيَٰتِ ضَبۡحٗا
Per quelli che galoppano veloci,
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 2

فَٱلۡمُورِيَٰتِ قَدۡحٗا
che sprigionano scintille,
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 3

فَٱلۡمُغِيرَٰتِ صُبۡحٗا
che attaccano al mattino,

Ayah: 4

فَأَثَرۡنَ بِهِۦ نَقۡعٗا
sollevando la polvere,

Ayah: 5

فَوَسَطۡنَ بِهِۦ جَمۡعًا
piombando al centro di una mischia:

Ayah: 6

إِنَّ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ لِرَبِّهِۦ لَكَنُودٞ
in verità l’uomo è ingrato verso il suo Dio

Ayah: 7

وَإِنَّهُۥ عَلَىٰ ذَٰلِكَ لَشَهِيدٞ
e di ciò lui stesso è, in verità, testimone.

وَإِنَّهُۥ لِحُبِّ ٱلۡخَيۡرِ لَشَدِيدٌ
E in verità ama intensamente la ricchezza.

۞ أَفَلَا يَعۡلَمُ إِذَا بُعۡثِرَ مَا فِي ٱلۡقُبُورِ
Non sa che, quando sarà sparpagliato ciò che è nelle tombe,

Ayah: 10

وَحُصِّلَ مَا فِي ٱلصُّدُورِ
E sarà raccolto ciò che è nei petti,

Ayah: 11

إِنَّ رَبَّهُم بِهِمۡ يَوۡمَئِذٖ لَّخَبِيرُۢ
in verità quel giorno il loro Dio sarà Conoscitore di ciò che hanno fatto.
