Ayah: 1

ٱلۡقَارِعَةُ
Lo Scuotimento!

مَا ٱلۡقَارِعَةُ
Cos’è lo Scuotimento?

Ayah: 3

وَمَآ أَدۡرَىٰكَ مَا ٱلۡقَارِعَةُ
E che ne sai dello Scuotimento?

يَوۡمَ يَكُونُ ٱلنَّاسُ كَٱلۡفَرَاشِ ٱلۡمَبۡثُوثِ
Il giorno in cui gli uomini saranno come falene sparpagliate

وَتَكُونُ ٱلۡجِبَالُ كَٱلۡعِهۡنِ ٱلۡمَنفُوشِ
e i monti come ciuffi di lana colorata:

فَأَمَّا مَن ثَقُلَتۡ مَوَٰزِينُهُۥ
chi ha avuto un peso maggiore

فَهُوَ فِي عِيشَةٖ رَّاضِيَةٖ
avrà un’esistenza felice,

وَأَمَّا مَنۡ خَفَّتۡ مَوَٰزِينُهُۥ
ma chi ha avuto un peso leggero,

فَأُمُّهُۥ هَاوِيَةٞ
lo accoglierà l’Abisso.

وَمَآ أَدۡرَىٰكَ مَا هِيَهۡ
Cosa sai tu dell’Abisso?

نَارٌ حَامِيَةُۢ
È un fuoco ardente.
