Al-Humazah

Ayah: 1

وَيۡلٞ لِّكُلِّ هُمَزَةٖ لُّمَزَةٍ
Guai ad ogni ignobile calunniatore,

Ayah: 2

ٱلَّذِي جَمَعَ مَالٗا وَعَدَّدَهُۥ
che ha accumulato ricchezze e le ha contate,

Ayah: 3

يَحۡسَبُ أَنَّ مَالَهُۥٓ أَخۡلَدَهُۥ
e crede in verità che i suoi beni lo renderanno eterno!

كَلَّاۖ لَيُنۢبَذَنَّ فِي ٱلۡحُطَمَةِ
No, lui verrà spinto al Rogo.

وَمَآ أَدۡرَىٰكَ مَا ٱلۡحُطَمَةُ
Che ne sai tu del Rogo?

نَارُ ٱللَّهِ ٱلۡمُوقَدَةُ
È il fuoco divampante di Allāh,

ٱلَّتِي تَطَّلِعُ عَلَى ٱلۡأَفۡـِٔدَةِ
che raggiunge i cuori:

إِنَّهَا عَلَيۡهِم مُّؤۡصَدَةٞ
è in verità stretto intorno a loro
