Al-Qamar

Ayah: 1

ٱقۡتَرَبَتِ ٱلسَّاعَةُ وَٱنشَقَّ ٱلۡقَمَرُ
Si avvicinò l’Ora, e si fendette la Luna!
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 2

وَإِن يَرَوۡاْ ءَايَةٗ يُعۡرِضُواْ وَيَقُولُواْ سِحۡرٞ مُّسۡتَمِرّٞ
E se vedono un segno, si oppongono e dicono: «È continua magia!»

Ayah: 3

وَكَذَّبُواْ وَٱتَّبَعُوٓاْ أَهۡوَآءَهُمۡۚ وَكُلُّ أَمۡرٖ مُّسۡتَقِرّٞ
E loro l’hanno rinnegata e hanno continuano a seguire i loro vizi, e ogni ordine è immutabile.

Ayah: 4

وَلَقَدۡ جَآءَهُم مِّنَ ٱلۡأَنۢبَآءِ مَا فِيهِ مُزۡدَجَرٌ
Eppure sono arrivati loro degli annunci che contengono argomenti per dissuaderli:

Ayah: 5

حِكۡمَةُۢ بَٰلِغَةٞۖ فَمَا تُغۡنِ ٱلنُّذُرُ
massima saggezza! Ma a nulla servirono gli avvertimenti.

Ayah: 6

فَتَوَلَّ عَنۡهُمۡۘ يَوۡمَ يَدۡعُ ٱلدَّاعِ إِلَىٰ شَيۡءٖ نُّكُرٍ
Volgi loro le spalle! Il giorno in cui l’Annunciatore li chiamerà a raccolta, per un evento atroce,

Ayah: 7

خُشَّعًا أَبۡصَٰرُهُمۡ يَخۡرُجُونَ مِنَ ٱلۡأَجۡدَاثِ كَأَنَّهُمۡ جَرَادٞ مُّنتَشِرٞ
usciranno dalle tombe, umiliati, come cavallette sparpagliate,

Ayah: 8

مُّهۡطِعِينَ إِلَى ٱلدَّاعِۖ يَقُولُ ٱلۡكَٰفِرُونَ هَٰذَا يَوۡمٌ عَسِرٞ
precipitandosi verso l’Annunciatore; diranno i miscredenti: «Questo è un duro giorno!»

Ayah: 9

۞ كَذَّبَتۡ قَبۡلَهُمۡ قَوۡمُ نُوحٖ فَكَذَّبُواْ عَبۡدَنَا وَقَالُواْ مَجۡنُونٞ وَٱزۡدُجِرَ
Prima di loro smentirono il popolo di Nūħ, smentirono il Nostro Servo, e dissero: «È un posseduto!» E fu ostacolato,

Ayah: 10

فَدَعَا رَبَّهُۥٓ أَنِّي مَغۡلُوبٞ فَٱنتَصِرۡ
poi invocò il suo Dio: «In verità sono afflitto, sostienimi!»

Ayah: 11

فَفَتَحۡنَآ أَبۡوَٰبَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ بِمَآءٖ مُّنۡهَمِرٖ
Così aprimmo le porte del cielo e facemmo rovesciare piogge torrenziali

Ayah: 12

وَفَجَّرۡنَا ٱلۡأَرۡضَ عُيُونٗا فَٱلۡتَقَى ٱلۡمَآءُ عَلَىٰٓ أَمۡرٖ قَدۡ قُدِرَ
e facemmo sgorgare dalla terra sorgenti: così le acque si mischiarono per un ordine prestabilito.

وَحَمَلۡنَٰهُ عَلَىٰ ذَاتِ أَلۡوَٰحٖ وَدُسُرٖ
E lo trasportammo con un’arca di tavole inchiodate,

تَجۡرِي بِأَعۡيُنِنَا جَزَآءٗ لِّمَن كَانَ كُفِرَ
che navigò sotto i Nostri occhi, punendo chi fu miscredente.

وَلَقَد تَّرَكۡنَٰهَآ ءَايَةٗ فَهَلۡ مِن مُّدَّكِرٖ
E l’abbiamo lasciata come esempio: c’è chi se ne ricorda?

Ayah: 16

فَكَيۡفَ كَانَ عَذَابِي وَنُذُرِ
Come furono terribili la Mia punizione e i miei avvertimenti!

وَلَقَدۡ يَسَّرۡنَا ٱلۡقُرۡءَانَ لِلذِّكۡرِ فَهَلۡ مِن مُّدَّكِرٖ
E facilitammo il Corano perché ne giovaste: c’è chi ne giova?

Ayah: 18

كَذَّبَتۡ عَادٞ فَكَيۡفَ كَانَ عَذَابِي وَنُذُرِ
Quelli di ‘Ad respinsero la fede: come furono terribili la Mia punizione e i miei avvertimenti!

Ayah: 19

إِنَّآ أَرۡسَلۡنَا عَلَيۡهِمۡ رِيحٗا صَرۡصَرٗا فِي يَوۡمِ نَحۡسٖ مُّسۡتَمِرّٖ
In verità scatenammo su di loro un vento violentissimo, in un giorno infausto, interminabile,

Ayah: 20

تَنزِعُ ٱلنَّاسَ كَأَنَّهُمۡ أَعۡجَازُ نَخۡلٖ مُّنقَعِرٖ
che sbalzava la gente come ceppi di palme sradicate!

Ayah: 21

فَكَيۡفَ كَانَ عَذَابِي وَنُذُرِ
Come furono terribili la Mia punizione e i miei avvertimenti!

وَلَقَدۡ يَسَّرۡنَا ٱلۡقُرۡءَانَ لِلذِّكۡرِ فَهَلۡ مِن مُّدَّكِرٖ

Ayah: 23

كَذَّبَتۡ ثَمُودُ بِٱلنُّذُرِ
Quelli di Thamūd rifiutarono gli avvertimenti;

فَقَالُوٓاْ أَبَشَرٗا مِّنَّا وَٰحِدٗا نَّتَّبِعُهُۥٓ إِنَّآ إِذٗا لَّفِي ضَلَٰلٖ وَسُعُرٍ
dissero: «Seguire un comune uomo come noi? In verità saremmo nella perdizione e nella follia!

Ayah: 25

أَءُلۡقِيَ ٱلذِّكۡرُ عَلَيۡهِ مِنۢ بَيۡنِنَا بَلۡ هُوَ كَذَّابٌ أَشِرٞ
È stato forse gettato su di lui, tra tutti noi, l’Avvertimento? Ma lui è un bugiardo superbo!”

Ayah: 26

سَيَعۡلَمُونَ غَدٗا مَّنِ ٱلۡكَذَّابُ ٱلۡأَشِرُ
Domani loro sapranno chi è il bugiardo superbo!

Ayah: 27

إِنَّا مُرۡسِلُواْ ٱلنَّاقَةِ فِتۡنَةٗ لَّهُمۡ فَٱرۡتَقِبۡهُمۡ وَٱصۡطَبِرۡ
In verità invieremo loro la Cammella, per metterli alla prova: osservali e sii paziente.

Ayah: 28

وَنَبِّئۡهُمۡ أَنَّ ٱلۡمَآءَ قِسۡمَةُۢ بَيۡنَهُمۡۖ كُلُّ شِرۡبٖ مُّحۡتَضَرٞ
E avvertili che in verità l’acqua dovrà essere divisa tra loro, e ognuno rispetti il suo turno.»

Ayah: 29

فَنَادَوۡاْ صَاحِبَهُمۡ فَتَعَاطَىٰ فَعَقَرَ
Ma loro chiamarono il loro compagno, che si armò e la uccise.

فَكَيۡفَ كَانَ عَذَابِي وَنُذُرِ
Ma come fu terribile la Mia punizione e i Miei avvertimenti!

إِنَّآ أَرۡسَلۡنَا عَلَيۡهِمۡ صَيۡحَةٗ وَٰحِدَةٗ فَكَانُواْ كَهَشِيمِ ٱلۡمُحۡتَظِرِ
In verità inviammo su di loro un unico, terrificante Urlo, che li ridusse come erba secca di un graticcio.

وَلَقَدۡ يَسَّرۡنَا ٱلۡقُرۡءَانَ لِلذِّكۡرِ فَهَلۡ مِن مُّدَّكِرٖ
E abbiamo facilitato il Corano perché ne giovaste: c’è chi ne giova?

Ayah: 33

كَذَّبَتۡ قَوۡمُ لُوطِۭ بِٱلنُّذُرِ
Il popolo di Lūţ non credette agli avvertimenti:

إِنَّآ أَرۡسَلۡنَا عَلَيۡهِمۡ حَاصِبًا إِلَّآ ءَالَ لُوطٖۖ نَّجَّيۡنَٰهُم بِسَحَرٖ
in verità scatenammo contro di loro un turbine di sassi, tranne la famiglia di Lūţ, che salvammo all’alba,

Ayah: 35

نِّعۡمَةٗ مِّنۡ عِندِنَاۚ كَذَٰلِكَ نَجۡزِي مَن شَكَرَ
per grazia da parte Nostra: così Noi ricompensiamo i riconoscenti.

Ayah: 36

وَلَقَدۡ أَنذَرَهُم بَطۡشَتَنَا فَتَمَارَوۡاْ بِٱلنُّذُرِ
E li aveva avvertiti della Nostra punizione, ma loro dubitarono dei Nostri avvertimenti.

Ayah: 37

وَلَقَدۡ رَٰوَدُوهُ عَن ضَيۡفِهِۦ فَطَمَسۡنَآ أَعۡيُنَهُمۡ فَذُوقُواْ عَذَابِي وَنُذُرِ
E gli chiesero di disporre dei suoi ospiti, per cui li accecammo: «Assaggiate la Mia punizione e i Miei avvertimenti!»

وَلَقَدۡ صَبَّحَهُم بُكۡرَةً عَذَابٞ مُّسۡتَقِرّٞ
E all’alba li colse una punizione duratura:

فَذُوقُواْ عَذَابِي وَنُذُرِ
»Assaggiate la Mia punizione e i miei avvertimenti!»

وَلَقَدۡ يَسَّرۡنَا ٱلۡقُرۡءَانَ لِلذِّكۡرِ فَهَلۡ مِن مُّدَّكِرٖ
E abbiamo facilitato il Corano perché ne giovaste: c’è chi ne giova?

Ayah: 41

وَلَقَدۡ جَآءَ ءَالَ فِرۡعَوۡنَ ٱلنُّذُرُ
E i Nostri avvertimenti giunsero alla gente del Faraone,

Ayah: 42

كَذَّبُواْ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا كُلِّهَا فَأَخَذۡنَٰهُمۡ أَخۡذَ عَزِيزٖ مُّقۡتَدِرٍ
ma loro negarono tutte le Evidenze, e li prendemmo con la forza del Prezioso e Potente.

Ayah: 43

أَكُفَّارُكُمۡ خَيۡرٞ مِّنۡ أُوْلَٰٓئِكُمۡ أَمۡ لَكُم بَرَآءَةٞ فِي ٱلزُّبُرِ
I vostri miscredenti sono forse migliori dei vostri sostenitori, o avete un’immunità concessavi dalle Scritture?

Ayah: 44

أَمۡ يَقُولُونَ نَحۡنُ جَمِيعٞ مُّنتَصِرٞ
O diranno: «Siamo tutti vittoriosi!»

سَيُهۡزَمُ ٱلۡجَمۡعُ وَيُوَلُّونَ ٱلدُّبُرَ
Ma saranno tutti sconfitti e volteranno le spalle.

بَلِ ٱلسَّاعَةُ مَوۡعِدُهُمۡ وَٱلسَّاعَةُ أَدۡهَىٰ وَأَمَرُّ
Ma l’Ora è il loro appuntamento, e l’Ora sarà molto più dura e amara.

Ayah: 47

إِنَّ ٱلۡمُجۡرِمِينَ فِي ضَلَٰلٖ وَسُعُرٖ
In verità i criminali saranno nella perdizione e nel Fuoco divampante!

Ayah: 48

يَوۡمَ يُسۡحَبُونَ فِي ٱلنَّارِ عَلَىٰ وُجُوهِهِمۡ ذُوقُواْ مَسَّ سَقَرَ
Il Giorno in cui verranno trascinati bocconi nelle fiamme, si dirà loro: «Assaggiate il tocco del Saǭar!»

Ayah: 49

إِنَّا كُلَّ شَيۡءٍ خَلَقۡنَٰهُ بِقَدَرٖ
In verità Noi abbiamo creato ogni cosa con criterio,

Ayah: 50

وَمَآ أَمۡرُنَآ إِلَّا وَٰحِدَةٞ كَلَمۡحِۭ بِٱلۡبَصَرِ
e il Nostro ordine non sarà altro che una sola Parola, come un battere di ciglio!

Ayah: 51

وَلَقَدۡ أَهۡلَكۡنَآ أَشۡيَاعَكُمۡ فَهَلۡ مِن مُّدَّكِرٖ
E abbiamo già distrutto i vostri simili (nella miscredenza): c’è chi se ne ricorda?

Ayah: 52

وَكُلُّ شَيۡءٖ فَعَلُوهُ فِي ٱلزُّبُرِ
E ogni cosa che hanno compiuto è stata segnata nei Registri.

وَكُلُّ صَغِيرٖ وَكَبِيرٖ مُّسۡتَطَرٌ
E ogni piccola o grande cosa vi veniva annotata.

إِنَّ ٱلۡمُتَّقِينَ فِي جَنَّٰتٖ وَنَهَرٖ
In verità i devoti vivranno in Paradisi e fiumi,

فِي مَقۡعَدِ صِدۡقٍ عِندَ مَلِيكٖ مُّقۡتَدِرِۭ
in un luogo di serenità da un Sovrano Onnipotente.
