Al-Qalam

Ayah: 1

نٓۚ وَٱلۡقَلَمِ وَمَا يَسۡطُرُونَ
Nū-ūn ﴿نٓ﴾ Per il calamo e ciò che scrivono (su di te, i miscredenti):
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 2

مَآ أَنتَ بِنِعۡمَةِ رَبِّكَ بِمَجۡنُونٖ
Non sei, per Grazia di Allāh, un posseduto!

Ayah: 3

وَإِنَّ لَكَ لَأَجۡرًا غَيۡرَ مَمۡنُونٖ
E in verità avrai una ricompensa eterna,

Ayah: 4

وَإِنَّكَ لَعَلَىٰ خُلُقٍ عَظِيمٖ
e in verità hai un carattere nobile

Ayah: 5

فَسَتُبۡصِرُ وَيُبۡصِرُونَ
, e vedrai, presto vedranno

Ayah: 6

بِأَييِّكُمُ ٱلۡمَفۡتُونُ
chi di voi è il posseduto.

Ayah: 7

إِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ أَعۡلَمُ بِمَن ضَلَّ عَن سَبِيلِهِۦ وَهُوَ أَعۡلَمُ بِٱلۡمُهۡتَدِينَ
In verità il tuo Dio sa bene chi ha perso il Suo sentiero e sa bene chi procede sulla Retta Via.

Ayah: 8

فَلَا تُطِعِ ٱلۡمُكَذِّبِينَ
Non obbedire ai rinnegatori!

Ayah: 9

وَدُّواْ لَوۡ تُدۡهِنُ فَيُدۡهِنُونَ
Loro vorrebbero che tu li assecondassi, così che loro ti assecondino.

Ayah: 10

وَلَا تُطِعۡ كُلَّ حَلَّافٖ مَّهِينٍ
E non dare retta a ogni vile spergiuro,

هَمَّازٖ مَّشَّآءِۭ بِنَمِيمٖ
diffamatore, divulgatore di calunnie,

Ayah: 12

مَّنَّاعٖ لِّلۡخَيۡرِ مُعۡتَدٍ أَثِيمٍ
ostile al bene, trasgressore indegno

عُتُلِّۭ بَعۡدَ ذَٰلِكَ زَنِيمٍ
e spregevole e disprezzato tra la sua gente.

Ayah: 14

أَن كَانَ ذَا مَالٖ وَبَنِينَ
Se è un possessore di beni e figli,

Ayah: 15

إِذَا تُتۡلَىٰ عَلَيۡهِ ءَايَٰتُنَا قَالَ أَسَٰطِيرُ ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ
se gli vengono recitati i Nostri segni, dice: «Sono favole degli antichi!»

Ayah: 16

سَنَسِمُهُۥ عَلَى ٱلۡخُرۡطُومِ
Noi lo marchieremo sul naso.

Ayah: 17

إِنَّا بَلَوۡنَٰهُمۡ كَمَا بَلَوۡنَآ أَصۡحَٰبَ ٱلۡجَنَّةِ إِذۡ أَقۡسَمُواْ لَيَصۡرِمُنَّهَا مُصۡبِحِينَ
In verità Noi li abbiamo messi alla prova, come abbiamo messo alla prova quelli che avevano un giardino, e che giurarono di fare il raccolto di buon mattino

Ayah: 18

وَلَا يَسۡتَثۡنُونَ
per non dover tenere conto della parte dovuta ai poveri.

Ayah: 19

فَطَافَ عَلَيۡهَا طَآئِفٞ مِّن رَّبِّكَ وَهُمۡ نَآئِمُونَ
E così una calamità del tuo Dio li avvolse mentre dormivano,

Ayah: 20

فَأَصۡبَحَتۡ كَٱلصَّرِيمِ
e fu come se la terra fosse stata bruciata.

Ayah: 21

فَتَنَادَوۡاْ مُصۡبِحِينَ
E al mattino si chiamarono a vicenda:

Ayah: 22

أَنِ ٱغۡدُواْ عَلَىٰ حَرۡثِكُمۡ إِن كُنتُمۡ صَٰرِمِينَ
»Correte alle vostre piantagioni, se volete fare raccolto!»

Ayah: 23

فَٱنطَلَقُواْ وَهُمۡ يَتَخَٰفَتُونَ
E partirono sussurrando a se stessi:

Ayah: 24

أَن لَّا يَدۡخُلَنَّهَا ٱلۡيَوۡمَ عَلَيۡكُم مِّسۡكِينٞ
»Che non entri oggi, tra noi, un povero!»

Ayah: 25

وَغَدَوۡاْ عَلَىٰ حَرۡدٖ قَٰدِرِينَ
E andarono, agguerriti, a impedirglielo.

فَلَمَّا رَأَوۡهَا قَالُوٓاْ إِنَّا لَضَآلُّونَ
E quando videro il loro giardino, dissero: «In verità siamo in perdizione!

Ayah: 27

بَلۡ نَحۡنُ مَحۡرُومُونَ
Ma siamo stati puniti».

Ayah: 28

قَالَ أَوۡسَطُهُمۡ أَلَمۡ أَقُل لَّكُمۡ لَوۡلَا تُسَبِّحُونَ
Il più moderato di loro disse: «Non vi ho detto di glorificare?»

Ayah: 29

قَالُواْ سُبۡحَٰنَ رَبِّنَآ إِنَّا كُنَّا ظَٰلِمِينَ
Dissero: “Lodato sia il Nostro Dio! In verità eravamo ingiusti!»

Ayah: 30

فَأَقۡبَلَ بَعۡضُهُمۡ عَلَىٰ بَعۡضٖ يَتَلَٰوَمُونَ
E si volsero l’uno all’altro, rimproverandosi, dissero:

Ayah: 31

قَالُواْ يَٰوَيۡلَنَآ إِنَّا كُنَّا طَٰغِينَ
”Guai a noi! In verità siamo stati prepotenti!

Ayah: 32

عَسَىٰ رَبُّنَآ أَن يُبۡدِلَنَا خَيۡرٗا مِّنۡهَآ إِنَّآ إِلَىٰ رَبِّنَا رَٰغِبُونَ
Ma forse il nostro Dio ci darà in cambio qualcosa di meglio! In verità ci rivolgiamo, supplicanti, al nostro Dio.»

Ayah: 33

كَذَٰلِكَ ٱلۡعَذَابُۖ وَلَعَذَابُ ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ أَكۡبَرُۚ لَوۡ كَانُواْ يَعۡلَمُونَ
Quella fu la punizione e la punizione nell’Aldilà è più grande, se sapessero.

Ayah: 34

إِنَّ لِلۡمُتَّقِينَ عِندَ رَبِّهِمۡ جَنَّٰتِ ٱلنَّعِيمِ
In verità per i devoti ci sono Paradisi di delizie dal loro Dio.

Ayah: 35

أَفَنَجۡعَلُ ٱلۡمُسۡلِمِينَ كَٱلۡمُجۡرِمِينَ
Tratteremo forse i musulmani come i criminali?

Ayah: 36

مَا لَكُمۡ كَيۡفَ تَحۡكُمُونَ
Che vi prende? Come giudicate?

Ayah: 37

أَمۡ لَكُمۡ كِتَٰبٞ فِيهِ تَدۡرُسُونَ
O avete forse un libro su cui studiare,

Ayah: 38

إِنَّ لَكُمۡ فِيهِ لَمَا تَخَيَّرُونَ
in cui in verità siete certi di trovare proprio ciò che vi sta bene?

Ayah: 39

أَمۡ لَكُمۡ أَيۡمَٰنٌ عَلَيۡنَا بَٰلِغَةٌ إِلَىٰ يَوۡمِ ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِ إِنَّ لَكُمۡ لَمَا تَحۡكُمُونَ
O avete forse un patto con Noi, valido fino al Giorno del Giudizio, in base al quale, in verità, avrete ciò che volete?

Ayah: 40

سَلۡهُمۡ أَيُّهُم بِذَٰلِكَ زَعِيمٌ
Chiedi chi di loro (quelli del giardino) ne è testimone.

Ayah: 41

أَمۡ لَهُمۡ شُرَكَآءُ فَلۡيَأۡتُواْ بِشُرَكَآئِهِمۡ إِن كَانُواْ صَٰدِقِينَ
O hanno forse degli idoli pari a Me? Che portino tali pari, se nesono capaci.

Ayah: 42

يَوۡمَ يُكۡشَفُ عَن سَاقٖ وَيُدۡعَوۡنَ إِلَى ٱلسُّجُودِ فَلَا يَسۡتَطِيعُونَ
Il giorno in cui la gamba si scoprirà[97] e in cui saranno chiamati a prosternarsi, e non ci riusciranno,
[97]- Un giorno terribile, in cui si sta molto male.

Ayah: 43

خَٰشِعَةً أَبۡصَٰرُهُمۡ تَرۡهَقُهُمۡ ذِلَّةٞۖ وَقَدۡ كَانُواْ يُدۡعَوۡنَ إِلَى ٱلسُّجُودِ وَهُمۡ سَٰلِمُونَ
avranno gli sguardi bassi, umiliati, sotto il peso della vergogna; eppure furono chiamati a prosternarsi quando erano ancora in vita!

Ayah: 44

فَذَرۡنِي وَمَن يُكَذِّبُ بِهَٰذَا ٱلۡحَدِيثِۖ سَنَسۡتَدۡرِجُهُم مِّنۡ حَيۡثُ لَا يَعۡلَمُونَ
Lascia a Me chi nega questo Monito: Noi li rovineremo poco a poco, da dove non se lo aspettano.

Ayah: 45

وَأُمۡلِي لَهُمۡۚ إِنَّ كَيۡدِي مَتِينٌ
Io do loro una proroga: in verità dura è la Mia punizione!

Ayah: 46

أَمۡ تَسۡـَٔلُهُمۡ أَجۡرٗا فَهُم مِّن مَّغۡرَمٖ مُّثۡقَلُونَ
O forse chiedi loro una ricompensa mentre loro sono pieni di debiti?

Ayah: 47

أَمۡ عِندَهُمُ ٱلۡغَيۡبُ فَهُمۡ يَكۡتُبُونَ
O conoscono forse l’Ignoto e lo stanno scrivendo?

Ayah: 48

فَٱصۡبِرۡ لِحُكۡمِ رَبِّكَ وَلَا تَكُن كَصَاحِبِ ٱلۡحُوتِ إِذۡ نَادَىٰ وَهُوَ مَكۡظُومٞ
Sopporta l’ordine del tuo Dio e non essere come quello del Pesce[98], quando gridò nella disperazione:
[98]- Giona. يونس
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 49

لَّوۡلَآ أَن تَدَٰرَكَهُۥ نِعۡمَةٞ مِّن رَّبِّهِۦ لَنُبِذَ بِٱلۡعَرَآءِ وَهُوَ مَذۡمُومٞ
se non l’avesse soccorso una grazia di Allāh, sarebbe stato rigettato sulla terra nuda, e rimproverato.

Ayah: 50

فَٱجۡتَبَٰهُ رَبُّهُۥ فَجَعَلَهُۥ مِنَ ٱلصَّٰلِحِينَ
Ma il Suo Dio lo elevò e lo rese uno dei giusti.
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 51

وَإِن يَكَادُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ لَيُزۡلِقُونَكَ بِأَبۡصَٰرِهِمۡ لَمَّا سَمِعُواْ ٱلذِّكۡرَ وَيَقُولُونَ إِنَّهُۥ لَمَجۡنُونٞ
E i miscredenti ti fanno quasi cadere con i loro sguardi, dopo aver ascoltato l’Avvertimento, e dicono: «In verità Lui è un posseduto!»

Ayah: 52

وَمَا هُوَ إِلَّا ذِكۡرٞ لِّلۡعَٰلَمِينَ
E non è altro che un Monito ai Mondi.
