Al-Ma‘ârij

Ayah: 1

سَأَلَ سَآئِلُۢ بِعَذَابٖ وَاقِعٖ
Un interrogante ha interrogato sulla punizione ineluttabile,
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 2

لِّلۡكَٰفِرِينَ لَيۡسَ لَهُۥ دَافِعٞ
per i miscredenti; nessuno la può evitare:

Ayah: 3

مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ ذِي ٱلۡمَعَارِجِ
viene da Allāh, Colui che possiede le Vie dell’Ascesa:

Ayah: 4

تَعۡرُجُ ٱلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ وَٱلرُّوحُ إِلَيۡهِ فِي يَوۡمٖ كَانَ مِقۡدَارُهُۥ خَمۡسِينَ أَلۡفَ سَنَةٖ
gli angeli e lo Spirito salgono a Lui in un giorno che equivale a cinquantamila anni.

Ayah: 5

فَٱصۡبِرۡ صَبۡرٗا جَمِيلًا
E pazienta con lodevole pazienza!

Ayah: 6

إِنَّهُمۡ يَرَوۡنَهُۥ بَعِيدٗا
Loro lo vedono lontano,

Ayah: 7

وَنَرَىٰهُ قَرِيبٗا
ma Noi lo vediamo vicino!

Ayah: 8

يَوۡمَ تَكُونُ ٱلسَّمَآءُ كَٱلۡمُهۡلِ
Quel Giorno il cielo diventerà come argento fuso

Ayah: 9

وَتَكُونُ ٱلۡجِبَالُ كَٱلۡعِهۡنِ
e i monti come la lana colorata

Ayah: 10

وَلَا يَسۡـَٔلُ حَمِيمٌ حَمِيمٗا
e l’amico non si curerà più dell’amico

Ayah: 11

يُبَصَّرُونَهُمۡۚ يَوَدُّ ٱلۡمُجۡرِمُ لَوۡ يَفۡتَدِي مِنۡ عَذَابِ يَوۡمِئِذِۭ بِبَنِيهِ
Quando incontreranno i loro idoli – quel giorno i criminali vorranno farsi riscattare dal tormento al prezzo dei propri figli,

Ayah: 12

وَصَٰحِبَتِهِۦ وَأَخِيهِ
della moglie e del fratello

Ayah: 13

وَفَصِيلَتِهِ ٱلَّتِي تُـٔۡوِيهِ
e della loro tribù, che dà loro rifugio

Ayah: 14

وَمَن فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ جَمِيعٗا ثُمَّ يُنجِيهِ
e di tutti quelli che sono sulla terra, pur di salvarsi.

Ayah: 15

كَلَّآۖ إِنَّهَا لَظَىٰ
Al contrario! In verità troveranno un Braciere

Ayah: 16

نَزَّاعَةٗ لِّلشَّوَىٰ
che smembra,

Ayah: 17

تَدۡعُواْ مَنۡ أَدۡبَرَ وَتَوَلَّىٰ
che attira chi ha voltato le spalle e ha rinnegato

Ayah: 18

وَجَمَعَ فَأَوۡعَىٰٓ
e ha accumulato ricchezze e tesori.

Ayah: 19

۞ إِنَّ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ خُلِقَ هَلُوعًا
In verità l’uomo fu creato ansioso:

Ayah: 20

إِذَا مَسَّهُ ٱلشَّرُّ جَزُوعٗا
quando lo sfiora la povertà, trema,

Ayah: 21

وَإِذَا مَسَّهُ ٱلۡخَيۡرُ مَنُوعًا
e quando gli arriva l’abbondanza, è avaro;

Ayah: 22

إِلَّا ٱلۡمُصَلِّينَ
tranne quelli che pregano,

Ayah: 23

ٱلَّذِينَ هُمۡ عَلَىٰ صَلَاتِهِمۡ دَآئِمُونَ
che perseverano nelle loro preghiere

Ayah: 24

وَٱلَّذِينَ فِيٓ أَمۡوَٰلِهِمۡ حَقّٞ مَّعۡلُومٞ
e che riconoscono nei propri beni un diritto prestabilito

Ayah: 25

لِّلسَّآئِلِ وَٱلۡمَحۡرُومِ
al mendicante e all’escluso,

Ayah: 26

وَٱلَّذِينَ يُصَدِّقُونَ بِيَوۡمِ ٱلدِّينِ
e quelli che credono nel Giorno del Giudizio,
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 27

وَٱلَّذِينَ هُم مِّنۡ عَذَابِ رَبِّهِم مُّشۡفِقُونَ
e quelli che temono la punizione del loro Dio –

Ayah: 28

إِنَّ عَذَابَ رَبِّهِمۡ غَيۡرُ مَأۡمُونٖ
in verità la punizione del loro Dio è indubitabile –

Ayah: 29

وَٱلَّذِينَ هُمۡ لِفُرُوجِهِمۡ حَٰفِظُونَ
e quelli che osservano la purezza,
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 30

إِلَّا عَلَىٰٓ أَزۡوَٰجِهِمۡ أَوۡ مَا مَلَكَتۡ أَيۡمَٰنُهُمۡ فَإِنَّهُمۡ غَيۡرُ مَلُومِينَ
tranne con le proprie mogli e con quelle che sono loro permesse, per cui non saranno rimproverati.

Ayah: 31

فَمَنِ ٱبۡتَغَىٰ وَرَآءَ ذَٰلِكَ فَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلۡعَادُونَ
Ma sono quelli che desiderano più di ciò, in verità, i trasgressori.

Ayah: 32

وَٱلَّذِينَ هُمۡ لِأَمَٰنَٰتِهِمۡ وَعَهۡدِهِمۡ رَٰعُونَ
E quelli che non tradiscono la fiducia e mantengono gli impegni,

Ayah: 33

وَٱلَّذِينَ هُم بِشَهَٰدَٰتِهِمۡ قَآئِمُونَ
e quelli che non esitano a dare le loro testimonianze,
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 34

وَٱلَّذِينَ هُمۡ عَلَىٰ صَلَاتِهِمۡ يُحَافِظُونَ
e quelli che devotamente adempiono all’obbligo delle loro preghiere:

Ayah: 35

أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ فِي جَنَّٰتٖ مُّكۡرَمُونَ
quelli saranno onorati in Paradiso.

Ayah: 36

فَمَالِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ قِبَلَكَ مُهۡطِعِينَ
Perché i miscredenti accorrono verso di te,

Ayah: 37

عَنِ ٱلۡيَمِينِ وَعَنِ ٱلشِّمَالِ عِزِينَ
in gruppi, da destra e da sinistra?
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 38

أَيَطۡمَعُ كُلُّ ٱمۡرِيٕٖ مِّنۡهُمۡ أَن يُدۡخَلَ جَنَّةَ نَعِيمٖ
Forse ognuno di loro vuole essere introdotto nel Paradiso di delizie?

Ayah: 39

كَلَّآۖ إِنَّا خَلَقۡنَٰهُم مِّمَّا يَعۡلَمُونَ
Al contrario! Li abbiamo in verità creati da ciò che sanno (dall’argilla).

Ayah: 40

فَلَآ أُقۡسِمُ بِرَبِّ ٱلۡمَشَٰرِقِ وَٱلۡمَغَٰرِبِ إِنَّا لَقَٰدِرُونَ
No! Giuro per il Dio degli Orienti e degli Occidenti che in verità Noi siamo capaci
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 41

عَلَىٰٓ أَن نُّبَدِّلَ خَيۡرٗا مِّنۡهُمۡ وَمَا نَحۡنُ بِمَسۡبُوقِينَ
di sostituirli con altri migliori di loro, e nessuno Ce lo impedisce!

Ayah: 42

فَذَرۡهُمۡ يَخُوضُواْ وَيَلۡعَبُواْ حَتَّىٰ يُلَٰقُواْ يَوۡمَهُمُ ٱلَّذِي يُوعَدُونَ
Lasciali distrarsi e giocare finché arriveranno al Giorno che è stato loro promesso,
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 43

يَوۡمَ يَخۡرُجُونَ مِنَ ٱلۡأَجۡدَاثِ سِرَاعٗا كَأَنَّهُمۡ إِلَىٰ نُصُبٖ يُوفِضُونَ
il Giorno in cui usciranno dalle tombe veloci, come in gara per raggiungere un traguardo,
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 44

خَٰشِعَةً أَبۡصَٰرُهُمۡ تَرۡهَقُهُمۡ ذِلَّةٞۚ ذَٰلِكَ ٱلۡيَوۡمُ ٱلَّذِي كَانُواْ يُوعَدُونَ
con lo sguardo basso, umiliati: quello sarà il Giorno che è stato loro promesso.
