Translation of the meanings Surah: An-Naba’   Ayah:

An-Naba’

Ayah: 1

عَمَّ يَتَسَآءَلُونَ
Su cosa si interrogano?
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 2

عَنِ ٱلنَّبَإِ ٱلۡعَظِيمِ
Sul Grande Annuncio
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 3

ٱلَّذِي هُمۡ فِيهِ مُخۡتَلِفُونَ
su cui sono discordi.
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 4

كَلَّا سَيَعۡلَمُونَ
No! Presto sapranno.
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 5

ثُمَّ كَلَّا سَيَعۡلَمُونَ
E ancora no! Certo sapranno.

Ayah: 6

أَلَمۡ نَجۡعَلِ ٱلۡأَرۡضَ مِهَٰدٗا
Non facemmo forse della terra una dimora,

Ayah: 7

وَٱلۡجِبَالَ أَوۡتَادٗا
e dei monti dei punti fermi,

Ayah: 8

وَخَلَقۡنَٰكُمۡ أَزۡوَٰجٗا
e vi creammo in coppie?

Ayah: 9

وَجَعَلۡنَا نَوۡمَكُمۡ سُبَاتٗا
E rendemmo il vostro sonno riposo.

Ayah: 10

وَجَعَلۡنَا ٱلَّيۡلَ لِبَاسٗا
E facemmo della notte un velo.
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 11

وَجَعَلۡنَا ٱلنَّهَارَ مَعَاشٗا
E del giorno il momento della vita.

Ayah: 12

وَبَنَيۡنَا فَوۡقَكُمۡ سَبۡعٗا شِدَادٗا
E sollevammo su di voi sette potenti sfere,

وَجَعَلۡنَا سِرَاجٗا وَهَّاجٗا
e vi stabilimmo una luce splendente.

Ayah: 14

وَأَنزَلۡنَا مِنَ ٱلۡمُعۡصِرَٰتِ مَآءٗ ثَجَّاجٗا
E facemmo scendere dalle nuvole acqua scrosciante

لِّنُخۡرِجَ بِهِۦ حَبّٗا وَنَبَاتٗا
per farne crescere grano e piante

Ayah: 16

وَجَنَّٰتٍ أَلۡفَافًا
e giardini rigogliosi.

Ayah: 17

إِنَّ يَوۡمَ ٱلۡفَصۡلِ كَانَ مِيقَٰتٗا
In verità il Giorno del Giudizio è già stabilito;

Ayah: 18

يَوۡمَ يُنفَخُ فِي ٱلصُّورِ فَتَأۡتُونَ أَفۡوَاجٗا
il Giorno in cui si soffierà nel Corno, e accorrerete in massa.

Ayah: 19

وَفُتِحَتِ ٱلسَّمَآءُ فَكَانَتۡ أَبۡوَٰبٗا
E il cielo sarà spalancato e sarà tutto porte.

Ayah: 20

وَسُيِّرَتِ ٱلۡجِبَالُ فَكَانَتۡ سَرَابًا
E saranno rimossi i monti e diventeranno un miraggio.

إِنَّ جَهَنَّمَ كَانَتۡ مِرۡصَادٗا
In verità l’Inferno era in agguato,

Ayah: 22

لِّلطَّٰغِينَ مَـَٔابٗا
dimora dei prepotenti,

Ayah: 23

لَّٰبِثِينَ فِيهَآ أَحۡقَابٗا
dove resteranno per sempre,

Ayah: 24

لَّا يَذُوقُونَ فِيهَا بَرۡدٗا وَلَا شَرَابًا
senza gustare frescura né bevande,

Ayah: 25

إِلَّا حَمِيمٗا وَغَسَّاقٗا
nient’altro che acqua bollente e ruggine,

Ayah: 26

جَزَآءٗ وِفَاقًا
come giusta punizione.

Ayah: 27

إِنَّهُمۡ كَانُواْ لَا يَرۡجُونَ حِسَابٗا
In verità non si aspettavano di essere giudicati,

Ayah: 28

وَكَذَّبُواْ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا كِذَّابٗا
e negavano con ostinazione i Nostri Segni!

Ayah: 29

وَكُلَّ شَيۡءٍ أَحۡصَيۡنَٰهُ كِتَٰبٗا
E annotammo tutto in un Libro.

Ayah: 30

فَذُوقُواْ فَلَن نَّزِيدَكُمۡ إِلَّا عَذَابًا
»Assaggiate? Non vi aumenteremo altro che la punizione!»

Ayah: 31

إِنَّ لِلۡمُتَّقِينَ مَفَازًا
In verità per i devoti ci sarà un successo:

Ayah: 32

حَدَآئِقَ وَأَعۡنَٰبٗا
giardini e vigne

Ayah: 33

وَكَوَاعِبَ أَتۡرَابٗا
e giovani fanciulle

Ayah: 34

وَكَأۡسٗا دِهَاقٗا
e coppe traboccanti,

Ayah: 35

لَّا يَسۡمَعُونَ فِيهَا لَغۡوٗا وَلَا كِذَّٰبٗا
dove non si sentiranno parole vane né falsità:

Ayah: 36

جَزَآءٗ مِّن رَّبِّكَ عَطَآءً حِسَابٗا
un premio dal tuo Dio, un dono calcolato.

Ayah: 37

رَّبِّ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَمَا بَيۡنَهُمَا ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِۖ لَا يَمۡلِكُونَ مِنۡهُ خِطَابٗا
Il Dio dei cieli e della terra e ciò che c’è di mezzo, il Misericordioso: non potranno rivolgerGli parola.

Ayah: 38

يَوۡمَ يَقُومُ ٱلرُّوحُ وَٱلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ صَفّٗاۖ لَّا يَتَكَلَّمُونَ إِلَّا مَنۡ أَذِنَ لَهُ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنُ وَقَالَ صَوَابٗا
Il giorno in cui lo Spirito e gli angeli si solleveranno in fila, non parleranno, tranne colui che ha avuto il permesso dal Misericordioso e parlò giustamente:

Ayah: 39

ذَٰلِكَ ٱلۡيَوۡمُ ٱلۡحَقُّۖ فَمَن شَآءَ ٱتَّخَذَ إِلَىٰ رَبِّهِۦ مَـَٔابًا
quello sarà il Giorno della Verità! Chi vuole, si affidi al suo Dio.

Ayah: 40

إِنَّآ أَنذَرۡنَٰكُمۡ عَذَابٗا قَرِيبٗا يَوۡمَ يَنظُرُ ٱلۡمَرۡءُ مَا قَدَّمَتۡ يَدَاهُ وَيَقُولُ ٱلۡكَافِرُ يَٰلَيۡتَنِي كُنتُ تُرَٰبَۢا
In verità vi abbiamo avvertito di una punizione vicina il Giorno in cui l’uomo vedrà ciò che hanno fatto le sue mani, e il miscredente dirà: «Se solo fossi stato terra!»
