Translation of the meanings Surah: ‘Abasa   Ayah:

‘Abasa

Ayah: 1

عَبَسَ وَتَوَلَّىٰٓ
(Il Profeta) Si accigliò e volse le spalle
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 2

أَن جَآءَهُ ٱلۡأَعۡمَىٰ
quando venne da lui il cieco.
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 3

وَمَا يُدۡرِيكَ لَعَلَّهُۥ يَزَّكَّىٰٓ
E che ne sai? Forse era venuto per purificarsi

Ayah: 4

أَوۡ يَذَّكَّرُ فَتَنفَعَهُ ٱلذِّكۡرَىٰٓ
o per farsi ammonire, affinché l’avvertimento gli fosse utile.

Ayah: 5

أَمَّا مَنِ ٱسۡتَغۡنَىٰ
Chi invece non ne ha bisogno,

Ayah: 6

فَأَنتَ لَهُۥ تَصَدَّىٰ
tu lo accogli.

Ayah: 7

وَمَا عَلَيۡكَ أَلَّا يَزَّكَّىٰ
E non sarà colpa tua se non verrà purificato.

Ayah: 8

وَأَمَّا مَن جَآءَكَ يَسۡعَىٰ
Ma chi viene a te pieno di zelo

Ayah: 9

وَهُوَ يَخۡشَىٰ
ed è timorato,

Ayah: 10

فَأَنتَ عَنۡهُ تَلَهَّىٰ
tu lo trascuri.

Ayah: 11

كَلَّآ إِنَّهَا تَذۡكِرَةٞ
No! In verità questo è un Avvertimento –

Ayah: 12

فَمَن شَآءَ ذَكَرَهُۥ
e chi vuole se lo ricordi –

فِي صُحُفٖ مُّكَرَّمَةٖ
su pagine nobili,

Ayah: 14

مَّرۡفُوعَةٖ مُّطَهَّرَةِۭ
sublimi e purificate,

Ayah: 15

بِأَيۡدِي سَفَرَةٖ
in mano a Messaggeri

كِرَامِۭ بَرَرَةٖ
eletti, fedeli.

قُتِلَ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُ مَآ أَكۡفَرَهُۥ
Muoia l’uomo! Quant’è perfido!

Ayah: 18

مِنۡ أَيِّ شَيۡءٍ خَلَقَهُۥ
Da che lo creò?

Ayah: 19

مِن نُّطۡفَةٍ خَلَقَهُۥ فَقَدَّرَهُۥ
Lo creò da un fiotto e lo modellò,

Ayah: 20

ثُمَّ ٱلسَّبِيلَ يَسَّرَهُۥ
poi gli spianò il sentiero;

Ayah: 21

ثُمَّ أَمَاتَهُۥ فَأَقۡبَرَهُۥ
l’ha fatto poi morire e seppellire.

Ayah: 22

ثُمَّ إِذَا شَآءَ أَنشَرَهُۥ
Poi, quando vorrà, lo farà risorgere.

Ayah: 23

كَلَّا لَمَّا يَقۡضِ مَآ أَمَرَهُۥ
No! Lui non ha fatto ciò che gli fu ordinato.

Ayah: 24

فَلۡيَنظُرِ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُ إِلَىٰ طَعَامِهِۦٓ
L’uomo guardi al suo nutrimento:

Ayah: 25

أَنَّا صَبَبۡنَا ٱلۡمَآءَ صَبّٗا
in verità abbiamo versato l’acqua a fiotti,

Ayah: 26

ثُمَّ شَقَقۡنَا ٱلۡأَرۡضَ شَقّٗا
poi fessurato il suolo a fondo,

Ayah: 27

فَأَنۢبَتۡنَا فِيهَا حَبّٗا
facendovi crescere campi di grano

Ayah: 28

وَعِنَبٗا وَقَضۡبٗا
e viti e cibo per il bestiame

Ayah: 29

وَزَيۡتُونٗا وَنَخۡلٗا
e ulivi e palme

Ayah: 30

وَحَدَآئِقَ غُلۡبٗا
e giardini rigogliosi

Ayah: 31

وَفَٰكِهَةٗ وَأَبّٗا
e frutta e pascoli,

Ayah: 32

مَّتَٰعٗا لَّكُمۡ وَلِأَنۡعَٰمِكُمۡ
per voi e per il vostro bestiame.

Ayah: 33

فَإِذَا جَآءَتِ ٱلصَّآخَّةُ
Quando arriverà il Giorno della Resurrezione –

Ayah: 34

يَوۡمَ يَفِرُّ ٱلۡمَرۡءُ مِنۡ أَخِيهِ
il giorno in cui l’uomo fuggirà dal fratello

Ayah: 35

وَأُمِّهِۦ وَأَبِيهِ
e dalla madre e dal padre

Ayah: 36

وَصَٰحِبَتِهِۦ وَبَنِيهِ
e dalla moglie e dai figli –

Ayah: 37

لِكُلِّ ٱمۡرِيٕٖ مِّنۡهُمۡ يَوۡمَئِذٖ شَأۡنٞ يُغۡنِيهِ
quel Giorno ognuno avrà una faccenda che lo impegnerà.

Ayah: 38

وُجُوهٞ يَوۡمَئِذٖ مُّسۡفِرَةٞ
Ci saranno quel Giorno volti radiosi,

ضَاحِكَةٞ مُّسۡتَبۡشِرَةٞ
gioiosi, allegri,
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 40

وَوُجُوهٞ يَوۡمَئِذٍ عَلَيۡهَا غَبَرَةٞ
e volti, quel Giorno, impolverati e cupi,

Ayah: 41

تَرۡهَقُهَا قَتَرَةٌ
avvolti dall’oscurità:

Ayah: 42

أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلۡكَفَرَةُ ٱلۡفَجَرَةُ
quelli sono i miscredenti, i licenziosi.
