At-Takwîr

Ayah: 1

إِذَا ٱلشَّمۡسُ كُوِّرَتۡ
Quando al sole sarà tolta la luce

Ayah: 2

وَإِذَا ٱلنُّجُومُ ٱنكَدَرَتۡ
e le stelle cadranno

Ayah: 3

وَإِذَا ٱلۡجِبَالُ سُيِّرَتۡ
e le montagne saranno spostate

وَإِذَا ٱلۡعِشَارُ عُطِّلَتۡ
e quando le gravidanze delle gravide saranno interrotte

وَإِذَا ٱلۡوُحُوشُ حُشِرَتۡ
e quando le belve saranno radunate

وَإِذَا ٱلۡبِحَارُ سُجِّرَتۡ
e quando i mari saranno uniti

وَإِذَا ٱلنُّفُوسُ زُوِّجَتۡ
e quando le anime verranno accoppiate

وَإِذَا ٱلۡمَوۡءُۥدَةُ سُئِلَتۡ
e quando si domanderà alla sepolta viva

بِأَيِّ ذَنۢبٖ قُتِلَتۡ
per quale colpa è stata uccisa,

وَإِذَا ٱلصُّحُفُ نُشِرَتۡ
e quando i fogli saranno dispiegati

وَإِذَا ٱلسَّمَآءُ كُشِطَتۡ
e quando il cielo sarà sciolto

Ayah: 12

وَإِذَا ٱلۡجَحِيمُ سُعِّرَتۡ
e quando sarà acceso l’Inferno

وَإِذَا ٱلۡجَنَّةُ أُزۡلِفَتۡ
e quando il Paradiso si sarà avvicinato,

عَلِمَتۡ نَفۡسٞ مَّآ أَحۡضَرَتۡ
ogni anima saprà cosa ha fatto.

فَلَآ أُقۡسِمُ بِٱلۡخُنَّسِ
Giuro per le stelle

ٱلۡجَوَارِ ٱلۡكُنَّسِ
che appaiono e scompaiono

Ayah: 17

وَٱلَّيۡلِ إِذَا عَسۡعَسَ
e la notte quando arriva

Ayah: 18

وَٱلصُّبۡحِ إِذَا تَنَفَّسَ
e il mattino quando illumina,

Ayah: 19

إِنَّهُۥ لَقَوۡلُ رَسُولٖ كَرِيمٖ
che in verità è parola di un nobile Messaggero,

ذِي قُوَّةٍ عِندَ ذِي ٱلۡعَرۡشِ مَكِينٖ
potente, autorevole presso il Dio del Trono,

Ayah: 21

مُّطَاعٖ ثَمَّ أَمِينٖ
obbediente e affidabile.

Ayah: 22

وَمَا صَاحِبُكُم بِمَجۡنُونٖ
Il vostro uomo non è un posseduto!

وَلَقَدۡ رَءَاهُ بِٱلۡأُفُقِ ٱلۡمُبِينِ
E lo vide nel limpido orizzonte

Ayah: 24

وَمَا هُوَ عَلَى ٱلۡغَيۡبِ بِضَنِينٖ
e lui non manca di rivelare l’Ignoto.

وَمَا هُوَ بِقَوۡلِ شَيۡطَٰنٖ رَّجِيمٖ
E non è parola di demone lapidato!

فَأَيۡنَ تَذۡهَبُونَ
Dove andate?

Ayah: 27

إِنۡ هُوَ إِلَّا ذِكۡرٞ لِّلۡعَٰلَمِينَ
Non è che un avvertimento per i Mondi,

Ayah: 28

لِمَن شَآءَ مِنكُمۡ أَن يَسۡتَقِيمَ
per chi di voi vuole essere retto,
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 29

وَمَا تَشَآءُونَ إِلَّآ أَن يَشَآءَ ٱللَّهُ رَبُّ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ
e voi non lo vorrete se non quando lo vorrà Allāh, Dio dei Mondi.
