Al-A‘lâ

Ayah: 1

سَبِّحِ ٱسۡمَ رَبِّكَ ٱلۡأَعۡلَى
Esalta il nome del tuo Dio, l’Altissimo,
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 2

ٱلَّذِي خَلَقَ فَسَوَّىٰ
Colui che creò e formò con armonia,
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 3

وَٱلَّذِي قَدَّرَ فَهَدَىٰ
e Colui che prestabilì e guidò,
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 4

وَٱلَّذِيٓ أَخۡرَجَ ٱلۡمَرۡعَىٰ
e Colui che fece crescere i pascoli,
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 5

فَجَعَلَهُۥ غُثَآءً أَحۡوَىٰ
e li rese secchi e neri.

Ayah: 6

سَنُقۡرِئُكَ فَلَا تَنسَىٰٓ
Ti insegneremo: non lo dimenticherai,

Ayah: 7

إِلَّا مَا شَآءَ ٱللَّهُۚ إِنَّهُۥ يَعۡلَمُ ٱلۡجَهۡرَ وَمَا يَخۡفَىٰ
se non quando Allāh lo vorrà; in verità Lui sa ciò che è evidente e ciò che è nascosto.

Ayah: 8

وَنُيَسِّرُكَ لِلۡيُسۡرَىٰ
Ti accompagneremo alla strada più facile:

Ayah: 9

فَذَكِّرۡ إِن نَّفَعَتِ ٱلذِّكۡرَىٰ
annuncia, se serve, l’Avvertimento;

Ayah: 10

سَيَذَّكَّرُ مَن يَخۡشَىٰ
chi teme ricorderà,

Ayah: 11

وَيَتَجَنَّبُهَا ٱلۡأَشۡقَى
ma lo eviterà il malvagio,

Ayah: 12

ٱلَّذِي يَصۡلَى ٱلنَّارَ ٱلۡكُبۡرَىٰ
colui che brucerà nel grande Fuoco,

Ayah: 13

ثُمَّ لَا يَمُوتُ فِيهَا وَلَا يَحۡيَىٰ
poi lì non morirà, né vivrà.

Ayah: 14

قَدۡ أَفۡلَحَ مَن تَزَكَّىٰ
Avrà successo chi si è purificato

Ayah: 15

وَذَكَرَ ٱسۡمَ رَبِّهِۦ فَصَلَّىٰ
e ha invocato il suo Dio, e ha pregato.

Ayah: 16

بَلۡ تُؤۡثِرُونَ ٱلۡحَيَوٰةَ ٱلدُّنۡيَا
Voi invece preferite la vita terrena,

Ayah: 17

وَٱلۡأٓخِرَةُ خَيۡرٞ وَأَبۡقَىٰٓ
ma l’altra è migliore e più duratura.

Ayah: 18

إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَفِي ٱلصُّحُفِ ٱلۡأُولَىٰ
In verità questo è nelle Scritture precedenti,

صُحُفِ إِبۡرَٰهِيمَ وَمُوسَىٰ
