Translation of the meanings Surah: Al-Balad   Ayah:

Al-Balad

Ayah: 1

لَآ أُقۡسِمُ بِهَٰذَا ٱلۡبَلَدِ
Giuro su questo paese –
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 2

وَأَنتَ حِلُّۢ بِهَٰذَا ٱلۡبَلَدِ
e tu risiedi in questo paese –

Ayah: 3

وَوَالِدٖ وَمَا وَلَدَ
e per il padre e gli eredi:

Ayah: 4

لَقَدۡ خَلَقۡنَا ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ فِي كَبَدٍ
abbiamo creato l’uomo nella sofferenza!

Ayah: 5

أَيَحۡسَبُ أَن لَّن يَقۡدِرَ عَلَيۡهِ أَحَدٞ
Crede (l’uomo) che nessuno potrà mai nulla contro di lui?

Ayah: 6

يَقُولُ أَهۡلَكۡتُ مَالٗا لُّبَدًا
Dice: “Ho sprecato immensi beni!”

Ayah: 7

أَيَحۡسَبُ أَن لَّمۡ يَرَهُۥٓ أَحَدٌ
Crede forse che nessuno lo veda?

Ayah: 8

أَلَمۡ نَجۡعَل لَّهُۥ عَيۡنَيۡنِ
Non lo abbiamo forse dotato di due occhi,

وَلِسَانٗا وَشَفَتَيۡنِ
e di una lingua e di due labbra,

Ayah: 10

وَهَدَيۡنَٰهُ ٱلنَّجۡدَيۡنِ
e gli indicammo i due sentieri?

Ayah: 11

فَلَا ٱقۡتَحَمَ ٱلۡعَقَبَةَ
Che affronti la Salita.

Ayah: 12

وَمَآ أَدۡرَىٰكَ مَا ٱلۡعَقَبَةُ
Che ne sai della Salita?

Ayah: 13

فَكُّ رَقَبَةٍ
Liberare uno schiavo,

Ayah: 14

أَوۡ إِطۡعَٰمٞ فِي يَوۡمٖ ذِي مَسۡغَبَةٖ
o nutrire, in tempo di magra,

Ayah: 15

يَتِيمٗا ذَا مَقۡرَبَةٍ
un parente orfano

Ayah: 16

أَوۡ مِسۡكِينٗا ذَا مَتۡرَبَةٖ
o un misero bisognoso.

Ayah: 17

ثُمَّ كَانَ مِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَتَوَاصَوۡاْ بِٱلصَّبۡرِ وَتَوَاصَوۡاْ بِٱلۡمَرۡحَمَةِ
Poi essere stato tra quelli che hanno creduto ed esortati alla pazienza ed esortati alla pietà.

Ayah: 18

أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ أَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلۡمَيۡمَنَةِ
Quelli sono i compagni della destra.

Ayah: 19

وَٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا هُمۡ أَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلۡمَشۡـَٔمَةِ
E quelli che negarono i Nostri segni, quelli sono i compagni della sinistra:

عَلَيۡهِمۡ نَارٞ مُّؤۡصَدَةُۢ
su di loro sarà un Fuoco avvolgente.
