Al-‘Alaq

Ayah: 1

ٱقۡرَأۡ بِٱسۡمِ رَبِّكَ ٱلَّذِي خَلَقَ
Leggi nel nome del tuo Dio, Colui che creò,
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 2

خَلَقَ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ مِنۡ عَلَقٍ
creò l’uomo da un grumo!

Ayah: 3

ٱقۡرَأۡ وَرَبُّكَ ٱلۡأَكۡرَمُ
Leggi! E il tuo Dio è il più Generoso,

Ayah: 4

ٱلَّذِي عَلَّمَ بِٱلۡقَلَمِ
Colui che insegnò col calamo,

Ayah: 5

عَلَّمَ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ مَا لَمۡ يَعۡلَمۡ
insegnò all’uomo ciò che non sapeva.

كَلَّآ إِنَّ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ لَيَطۡغَىٰٓ
No! In verità l’uomo diventa prepotente,

أَن رَّءَاهُ ٱسۡتَغۡنَىٰٓ
vedendosi arricchito.

Ayah: 8

إِنَّ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ ٱلرُّجۡعَىٰٓ
In verità al tuo Dio è il ritorno.

أَرَءَيۡتَ ٱلَّذِي يَنۡهَىٰ
Hai visto chi dissuase

Ayah: 10

عَبۡدًا إِذَا صَلَّىٰٓ
un fedele che pregava?

Ayah: 11

أَرَءَيۡتَ إِن كَانَ عَلَى ٱلۡهُدَىٰٓ
Hai visto se era sulla Retta Via

Ayah: 12

أَوۡ أَمَرَ بِٱلتَّقۡوَىٰٓ
o se invitava alla devozione?

Ayah: 13

أَرَءَيۡتَ إِن كَذَّبَ وَتَوَلَّىٰٓ
Hai visto se negava e rifiutava?

Ayah: 14

أَلَمۡ يَعۡلَم بِأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَرَىٰ
Non sa che in verità Allāh vede?

كَلَّا لَئِن لَّمۡ يَنتَهِ لَنَسۡفَعَۢا بِٱلنَّاصِيَةِ
No! Se non smette, lo prenderemo per la fronte,

Ayah: 16

نَاصِيَةٖ كَٰذِبَةٍ خَاطِئَةٖ
la fronte bugiarda e sviata.

Ayah: 17

فَلۡيَدۡعُ نَادِيَهُۥ
Chiami il suo gruppo,

Ayah: 18

سَنَدۡعُ ٱلزَّبَانِيَةَ
e Noi chiameremo i Punitori dell’Inferno!

كَلَّا لَا تُطِعۡهُ وَٱسۡجُدۡۤ وَٱقۡتَرِب۩
No! Non l’obbedire e prostrati e avvicinati! ۩ ﴿وَاسْجُدْ وَاقْتَرِبْ﴾
