Al-Qiyāmah

Ayah: 1

لَآ أُقۡسِمُ بِيَوۡمِ ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِ
부활의 날을 두고 내가 맹세컨대
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 2

وَلَآ أُقۡسِمُ بِٱلنَّفۡسِ ٱللَّوَّامَةِ
그리고 막심히 후회하는 영혼을 두고 내가 맹세컨대

Ayah: 3

أَيَحۡسَبُ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُ أَلَّن نَّجۡمَعَ عِظَامَهُۥ
인간은 내가 그의 뼈를 모으지 않을 것이라고 생각하는가?

Ayah: 4

بَلَىٰ قَٰدِرِينَ عَلَىٰٓ أَن نُّسَوِّيَ بَنَانَهُۥ
그렇지 않노라. 나는 그의 손가락을 하나로 만들어버릴 수 있노라.

بَلۡ يُرِيدُ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُ لِيَفۡجُرَ أَمَامَهُۥ
그러나 인간은 앞장서서 사악함을 저지르길 원하노라.

يَسۡـَٔلُ أَيَّانَ يَوۡمُ ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِ
그가 물으니 "부활의 날은 언제란 말인가?"

فَإِذَا بَرِقَ ٱلۡبَصَرُ
시각이 넋을 잃고

وَخَسَفَ ٱلۡقَمَرُ
달이 빛을 잃으며

Ayah: 9

وَجُمِعَ ٱلشَّمۡسُ وَٱلۡقَمَرُ
해와 달이 겹쳐질 때

Ayah: 10

يَقُولُ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُ يَوۡمَئِذٍ أَيۡنَ ٱلۡمَفَرُّ
인간은 그날 말할 것이라. “도망칠 곳은 어디인가?"

Ayah: 11

كَلَّا لَا وَزَرَ
그렇지 않노라. 피신처란 없노라.

إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ يَوۡمَئِذٍ ٱلۡمُسۡتَقَرُّ
그날은 그대의 주님이 정착지라.

يُنَبَّؤُاْ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُ يَوۡمَئِذِۭ بِمَا قَدَّمَ وَأَخَّرَ
인간은 그날 자기가 내놓은 것과 늦춘 것을 통보 받을 것이라.

Ayah: 14

بَلِ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُ عَلَىٰ نَفۡسِهِۦ بَصِيرَةٞ
실로 인간은 확실한 증거가 자기 자신을 덮칠 것이라.

Ayah: 15

وَلَوۡ أَلۡقَىٰ مَعَاذِيرَهُۥ
그가 자기 변명을 늘어놓더라도 그러할 것이라.

لَا تُحَرِّكۡ بِهِۦ لِسَانَكَ لِتَعۡجَلَ بِهِۦٓ
그대는 그것(꾸란)을 이유로 그대의 혀를 급히 움직여 서두르지 말라.

Ayah: 17

إِنَّ عَلَيۡنَا جَمۡعَهُۥ وَقُرۡءَانَهُۥ
실로 그것(꾸란)의 보존과 낭송은 나의 책임이라.

فَإِذَا قَرَأۡنَٰهُ فَٱتَّبِعۡ قُرۡءَانَهُۥ
그러니 내가 그것(꾸란)을 읽으면 그 낭송을 따르라.

ثُمَّ إِنَّ عَلَيۡنَا بَيَانَهُۥ
그 후 그것(꾸란)의 설명은 나의 책임이라.

كَلَّا بَلۡ تُحِبُّونَ ٱلۡعَاجِلَةَ
결코 그렇지 않노라! 그대들은 현세를 사랑하면서

وَتَذَرُونَ ٱلۡأٓخِرَةَ
내세는 내버려두더라.

Ayah: 22

وُجُوهٞ يَوۡمَئِذٖ نَّاضِرَةٌ
그날 포근한 얼굴들이 있으니

Ayah: 23

إِلَىٰ رَبِّهَا نَاظِرَةٞ
그들의 주님을 바라볼 것이라.

Ayah: 24

وَوُجُوهٞ يَوۡمَئِذِۭ بَاسِرَةٞ
그날 찡그린 얼굴들이 있으니

Ayah: 25

تَظُنُّ أَن يُفۡعَلَ بِهَا فَاقِرَةٞ
자신들에게 재앙이 덮칠 것이라 확신하노라.

كَلَّآ إِذَا بَلَغَتِ ٱلتَّرَاقِيَ
그렇지 않노라. 그것(영혼)이 빗장뼈에 도달하고

وَقِيلَ مَنۡۜ رَاقٖ
그리고 사람들이 "주문을 외워줄 자는 누구인가?”라고 말하고

وَظَنَّ أَنَّهُ ٱلۡفِرَاقُ
그리고 그가 그것이 사별(死別)이라 확신하고

Ayah: 29

وَٱلۡتَفَّتِ ٱلسَّاقُ بِٱلسَّاقِ
괴로움이 괴로움과 맞닿을 때

إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ يَوۡمَئِذٍ ٱلۡمَسَاقُ
그날 몰려 갈 곳은 그대 주님이라.

فَلَا صَدَّقَ وَلَا صَلَّىٰ
그리하여 그는 믿지 않았고 예배를 드리지도 않았으니

Ayah: 32

وَلَٰكِن كَذَّبَ وَتَوَلَّىٰ
오히려 그는 부정하며 돌아섰노라.

ثُمَّ ذَهَبَ إِلَىٰٓ أَهۡلِهِۦ يَتَمَطَّىٰٓ
그 후 그는 양반걸음을 걸으며 자기 가족에게로 나아갔노라.

Ayah: 34

أَوۡلَىٰ لَكَ فَأَوۡلَىٰ
그대에게 재앙이 가까웠도다. 또 가까웠도다.

ثُمَّ أَوۡلَىٰ لَكَ فَأَوۡلَىٰٓ
다시 한번, 그대에게 재앙이 가까웠도다. 또 가까웠도다.

أَيَحۡسَبُ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُ أَن يُتۡرَكَ سُدًى
인간은 자신이 구애받지 않고 내버려질 것이라 생각하는가?

أَلَمۡ يَكُ نُطۡفَةٗ مِّن مَّنِيّٖ يُمۡنَىٰ
그는 분출된 정액 방울이지 않았던가?

ثُمَّ كَانَ عَلَقَةٗ فَخَلَقَ فَسَوَّىٰ
그런 후 그는 응혈이었으며 그 후 그분께서는 만드시고 균형을 잡으셨노라.

Ayah: 39

فَجَعَلَ مِنۡهُ ٱلزَّوۡجَيۡنِ ٱلذَّكَرَ وَٱلۡأُنثَىٰٓ
그 후 그분께서는 그로부터 쌍을 두시니 남자와 여자라.

Ayah: 40

أَلَيۡسَ ذَٰلِكَ بِقَٰدِرٍ عَلَىٰٓ أَن يُحۡـِۧيَ ٱلۡمَوۡتَىٰ
그러한 분이야말로 죽은 자들을 살리실 수 있는 분이 아니던가?
