Ayah: 1

عَمَّ يَتَسَآءَلُونَ
그들은 무엇에 관하여 서로에게 묻는 것인가?

Ayah: 2

عَنِ ٱلنَّبَإِ ٱلۡعَظِيمِ
위대한 소식에 관해서니

Ayah: 3

ٱلَّذِي هُمۡ فِيهِ مُخۡتَلِفُونَ
그들은 그에 관해 의견을 달리하고 있노라.

Ayah: 4

كَلَّا سَيَعۡلَمُونَ
그렇지 않노라. 그들은 장차 알게 될 것이라.

Ayah: 5

ثُمَّ كَلَّا سَيَعۡلَمُونَ
다시 한번, 그렇지 않노라. 그들은 장차 알게 될 것이라.

أَلَمۡ نَجۡعَلِ ٱلۡأَرۡضَ مِهَٰدٗا
내가 대지를 침상으로 두지 않았던가?

Ayah: 7

وَٱلۡجِبَالَ أَوۡتَادٗا
또한 산을 말뚝으로 두지 않았던가?

Ayah: 8

وَخَلَقۡنَٰكُمۡ أَزۡوَٰجٗا
나는 그대들을 남녀로 창조하였으며

Ayah: 9

وَجَعَلۡنَا نَوۡمَكُمۡ سُبَاتٗا
그대들의 잠을 단절의 시간으로 두었노라.

Ayah: 10

وَجَعَلۡنَا ٱلَّيۡلَ لِبَاسٗا
그리고 밤을 옷으로 두었고

Ayah: 11

وَجَعَلۡنَا ٱلنَّهَارَ مَعَاشٗا
낮을 생계로 두었노라.

Ayah: 12

وَبَنَيۡنَا فَوۡقَكُمۡ سَبۡعٗا شِدَادٗا
그리고 그대들 위에 일곱 개의 강한 것(하늘)을 지었으며

وَجَعَلۡنَا سِرَاجٗا وَهَّاجٗا
찬란한 등불(태양)을 두었노라.

Ayah: 14

وَأَنزَلۡنَا مِنَ ٱلۡمُعۡصِرَٰتِ مَآءٗ ثَجَّاجٗا
그리고 빗방울을 짜내는 구름에서 퍼붓는 비를 내렸으니

لِّنُخۡرِجَ بِهِۦ حَبّٗا وَنَبَاتٗا
그것으로써 곡물과 야초를 내고

وَجَنَّٰتٍ أَلۡفَافًا
나무가 우거진 정원도 내노라.

Ayah: 17

إِنَّ يَوۡمَ ٱلۡفَصۡلِ كَانَ مِيقَٰتٗا
실로 분리의 날은 기약되어 있노라.

يَوۡمَ يُنفَخُ فِي ٱلصُّورِ فَتَأۡتُونَ أَفۡوَاجٗا
그날 나팔이 불리면 그대들은 떼지어 올 것이며

وَفُتِحَتِ ٱلسَّمَآءُ فَكَانَتۡ أَبۡوَٰبٗا
하늘은 열리어 문(門)처럼 되고

وَسُيِّرَتِ ٱلۡجِبَالُ فَكَانَتۡ سَرَابًا
산들은 흘러내리어 신기루처럼 될 것이라.

إِنَّ جَهَنَّمَ كَانَتۡ مِرۡصَادٗا
실로 지옥은 잠복해 있으니

Ayah: 22

لِّلطَّٰغِينَ مَـَٔابٗا
경계를 넘어선 자들을 위한 귀착지라.

Ayah: 23

لَّٰبِثِينَ فِيهَآ أَحۡقَابٗا
그곳에서 그들은 영구의 시간을 머물 것이며

Ayah: 24

لَّا يَذُوقُونَ فِيهَا بَرۡدٗا وَلَا شَرَابًا
그들은 그곳에서 시원함도, 음료도 맛보지 못할 것이니

Ayah: 25

إِلَّا حَمِيمٗا وَغَسَّاقٗا
오직 부글거리는 물과 고름 뿐이라.

جَزَآءٗ وِفَاقًا
이는 상응하는 징벌로서

Ayah: 27

إِنَّهُمۡ كَانُواْ لَا يَرۡجُونَ حِسَابٗا
실로 그들은 심판을 개의치 않았으며

Ayah: 28

وَكَذَّبُواْ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا كِذَّابٗا
나의 징표를 고집스레 부인하였노라.

وَكُلَّ شَيۡءٍ أَحۡصَيۡنَٰهُ كِتَٰبٗا
모든 것을 나는 기록부에 기재하였노라.

Ayah: 30

فَذُوقُواْ فَلَن نَّزِيدَكُمۡ إِلَّا عَذَابًا
그러니 너희는 맛 보라, 내가 너희에게 증가시킬 것은 오직 벌 뿐이라.

Ayah: 31

إِنَّ لِلۡمُتَّقِينَ مَفَازًا
실로 (하나님을) 경외하는 자들에게는 성공의 장소가 주어질 것이니

حَدَآئِقَ وَأَعۡنَٰبٗا
뜰과 포도,

Ayah: 33

وَكَوَاعِبَ أَتۡرَابٗا
봉긋한 가슴의 동갑내기 여성,

Ayah: 34

وَكَأۡسٗا دِهَاقٗا
가득 찬 술잔이 주어질 것이며

Ayah: 35

لَّا يَسۡمَعُونَ فِيهَا لَغۡوٗا وَلَا كِذَّٰبٗا
그들은 그곳에서 실없는 말도, 거짓말도 듣지 않을 것이라.

جَزَآءٗ مِّن رَّبِّكَ عَطَآءً حِسَابٗا
그대 주님으로부터의 보상으로서 베풂이자 계산의 결과로서

Ayah: 37

رَّبِّ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَمَا بَيۡنَهُمَا ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِۖ لَا يَمۡلِكُونَ مِنۡهُ خِطَابٗا
하늘과 땅 그리고 그 사이에 존재하는 것의 주님, 가장 자비로우신 분에게서 온 것이라. 그들은 그분께 관하여 어떠한 발언권도 갖지 못할 것이라.

Ayah: 38

يَوۡمَ يَقُومُ ٱلرُّوحُ وَٱلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ صَفّٗاۖ لَّا يَتَكَلَّمُونَ إِلَّا مَنۡ أَذِنَ لَهُ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنُ وَقَالَ صَوَابٗا
영혼(가브리엘 천사)과 천사들이 대열을 지어 서는 그날 그들은 말을 하지 못할 것이나, 가장 자비로우신 분께서 허락하신 자는 예외로 그는 진실을 말할 것이라.

Ayah: 39

ذَٰلِكَ ٱلۡيَوۡمُ ٱلۡحَقُّۖ فَمَن شَآءَ ٱتَّخَذَ إِلَىٰ رَبِّهِۦ مَـَٔابًا
이것이야말로 진리의 날이라. 그러니 원하는 자는 그의 주님께로 귀착지를 두라.

Ayah: 40

إِنَّآ أَنذَرۡنَٰكُمۡ عَذَابٗا قَرِيبٗا يَوۡمَ يَنظُرُ ٱلۡمَرۡءُ مَا قَدَّمَتۡ يَدَاهُ وَيَقُولُ ٱلۡكَافِرُ يَٰلَيۡتَنِي كُنتُ تُرَٰبَۢا
실로 나는 그대들에게 가까운 벌을 경고하였노라. 그날 인간은 자신의 두 손이 내놓은 것을 볼 것이며 불신자는 “내가 흙이었다면 좋았을 것을!” 이라고 말하게 될 것이라.
