Al-Mutaffifīn

Ayah: 1

وَيۡلٞ لِّلۡمُطَفِّفِينَ
적게 주는 자들에게 재앙이 있도다.
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 2

ٱلَّذِينَ إِذَا ٱكۡتَالُواْ عَلَى ٱلنَّاسِ يَسۡتَوۡفُونَ
그들은 사람들로부터 부피를 측정받을 때면 확실히 잴 것을 요구하나

Ayah: 3

وَإِذَا كَالُوهُمۡ أَو وَّزَنُوهُمۡ يُخۡسِرُونَ
그들이 그들(사람들)에게 부피를 재거나 무게를 달 때면 감소시키노라.

Ayah: 4

أَلَا يَظُنُّ أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ أَنَّهُم مَّبۡعُوثُونَ
어찌하여 저들은 자신들이 부활될 것임을 확신하지 않는단 말인가?

لِيَوۡمٍ عَظِيمٖ
위대한 날을 위해 (그들은 부활될 것이니)

يَوۡمَ يَقُومُ ٱلنَّاسُ لِرَبِّ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ
그날 인간은 만유의 주님을 위해 기립할 것이라.

كَلَّآ إِنَّ كِتَٰبَ ٱلۡفُجَّارِ لَفِي سِجِّينٖ
그렇지 않노라. 사악한 자들의 기록부는 진실로 ‘싯진’에 있노라.

Ayah: 8

وَمَآ أَدۡرَىٰكَ مَا سِجِّينٞ
무엇이 그대(무함마드)에게 ‘싯진’이 무엇인지를 알려줄 것인가?

كِتَٰبٞ مَّرۡقُومٞ
기입되어 있는 책이라.

وَيۡلٞ يَوۡمَئِذٖ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِينَ
그날, 부정하는 자들에게 재앙이 있을 것이니

ٱلَّذِينَ يُكَذِّبُونَ بِيَوۡمِ ٱلدِّينِ
그들은 심판의 날을 부정하는 자들이라.

Ayah: 12

وَمَا يُكَذِّبُ بِهِۦٓ إِلَّا كُلُّ مُعۡتَدٍ أَثِيمٍ
그것(심판의 날)을 부정하는 자는 경계를 넘어서며 죄짓는 자, 오직 그들 뿐이라.

Ayah: 13

إِذَا تُتۡلَىٰ عَلَيۡهِ ءَايَٰتُنَا قَالَ أَسَٰطِيرُ ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ
그에게 나의 징표가 낭송될 때면 그는 “(이것은) 옛날 사람들의 설화”라고 말하더라.

Ayah: 14

كَلَّاۖ بَلۡۜ رَانَ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِم مَّا كَانُواْ يَكۡسِبُونَ
결코 그렇지 않노라! 그들이 저지르던 것들이 그들의 마음을 가리웠노라.

Ayah: 15

كَلَّآ إِنَّهُمۡ عَن رَّبِّهِمۡ يَوۡمَئِذٖ لَّمَحۡجُوبُونَ
그렇지 않노라. 진실로 그들은 그날, 그들의 주님 앞에서 장막으로 가로막힐 것이라.

ثُمَّ إِنَّهُمۡ لَصَالُواْ ٱلۡجَحِيمِ
그 후 실로 그들은 작열하는 불지옥에서 불탈 것이라.

ثُمَّ يُقَالُ هَٰذَا ٱلَّذِي كُنتُم بِهِۦ تُكَذِّبُونَ
그 후 목소리가 들릴 것이니 “이것은 너희가 부정해오던 것이라”

كَلَّآ إِنَّ كِتَٰبَ ٱلۡأَبۡرَارِ لَفِي عِلِّيِّينَ
그렇지 않노라. 선한 자들의 기록부는 진실로 ‘일리윤’에 있노라.

وَمَآ أَدۡرَىٰكَ مَا عِلِّيُّونَ
무엇이 그대에게 ‘일리윤’이 무엇인지를 알려줄 것인가?

كِتَٰبٞ مَّرۡقُومٞ
기입되어 있는 책이라.

يَشۡهَدُهُ ٱلۡمُقَرَّبُونَ
(하나님께) 가까워진 자들이 그것(책)을 목격하노라.

إِنَّ ٱلۡأَبۡرَارَ لَفِي نَعِيمٍ
선한 자들은 진실로 안락함 속에 있을 것이니

عَلَى ٱلۡأَرَآئِكِ يَنظُرُونَ
차양이 드리워진 침대 위에서 그들은 바라볼 것이며

تَعۡرِفُ فِي وُجُوهِهِمۡ نَضۡرَةَ ٱلنَّعِيمِ
그대는 그들의 얼굴에서 포근한 안락함을 발견할 것이라.

يُسۡقَوۡنَ مِن رَّحِيقٖ مَّخۡتُومٍ
그들에게 마실 거리가 주어질 것이니, 맑고 부드러운 밀봉된 술로서

خِتَٰمُهُۥ مِسۡكٞۚ وَفِي ذَٰلِكَ فَلۡيَتَنَافَسِ ٱلۡمُتَنَٰفِسُونَ
그것의 끝맛은 사향이라. 그러니 경쟁하는 자들은 그것을 위해 경쟁하도록 하라.

وَمِزَاجُهُۥ مِن تَسۡنِيمٍ
그리고 그것에 섞인 것은 ‘타스님’ 으로서

عَيۡنٗا يَشۡرَبُ بِهَا ٱلۡمُقَرَّبُونَ
(하나님께) 가까워진 자들이 마시는 샘이라.

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ أَجۡرَمُواْ كَانُواْ مِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ يَضۡحَكُونَ
악행을 저지르던 자들은 이전에 믿는 자들을 비웃곤 하였노라.

Ayah: 30

وَإِذَا مَرُّواْ بِهِمۡ يَتَغَامَزُونَ
그들은 그들을 지나칠 때면 서로에게 눈짓을 보내고

وَإِذَا ٱنقَلَبُوٓاْ إِلَىٰٓ أَهۡلِهِمُ ٱنقَلَبُواْ فَكِهِينَ
그들(불신자들)의 가족에게 되돌아갈 때면 조소하며 되돌아갔으며

Ayah: 32

وَإِذَا رَأَوۡهُمۡ قَالُوٓاْ إِنَّ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ لَضَآلُّونَ
그들(믿는 자들)을 볼 때면 “진실로 이들은 방황하는 자들이라”라고 말하였노라.

وَمَآ أُرۡسِلُواْ عَلَيۡهِمۡ حَٰفِظِينَ
그러나 그들(불신자들)은 그들(믿는 자들)에 대한 감시자로 보내진 것이 아니라.

فَٱلۡيَوۡمَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ مِنَ ٱلۡكُفَّارِ يَضۡحَكُونَ
그리하여 이날은 믿는 자들이 불신자들을 비웃을 것이며

عَلَى ٱلۡأَرَآئِكِ يَنظُرُونَ
차양이 드리워진 침대 위에서 바라볼 것이라.

هَلۡ ثُوِّبَ ٱلۡكُفَّارُ مَا كَانُواْ يَفۡعَلُونَ
불신자들은 그들이 저지르던 행위로 대가를 치렀는가?
