Ash-Shams

Ayah: 1

وَٱلشَّمۡسِ وَضُحَىٰهَا
해와 그 아침빛을 두고 맹세코
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 2

وَٱلۡقَمَرِ إِذَا تَلَىٰهَا
그것(해)을 뒤따르는 달을 두고 맹세코

وَٱلنَّهَارِ إِذَا جَلَّىٰهَا
그것(해)을 전개하는 낮을 두고 맹세코

وَٱلَّيۡلِ إِذَا يَغۡشَىٰهَا
그것(해)을 덮는 밤을 두고 맹세코

وَٱلسَّمَآءِ وَمَا بَنَىٰهَا
하늘과 그것을 지으신 분을 두고 맹세코

وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَمَا طَحَىٰهَا
땅과 그것을 펼치신 분을 두고 맹세코

وَنَفۡسٖ وَمَا سَوَّىٰهَا
영혼과 그것을 조정하신 분을 두고 맹세코

Ayah: 8

فَأَلۡهَمَهَا فُجُورَهَا وَتَقۡوَىٰهَا
- 그 후 그분께서는 그의 사악함과 경외심에 관하여 그에게 영감을 주셨노라 -

قَدۡ أَفۡلَحَ مَن زَكَّىٰهَا
그것(영혼)을 정화한 자는 진정 성공하였으며

Ayah: 10

وَقَدۡ خَابَ مَن دَسَّىٰهَا
그것(영혼)을 은폐한 자는 진정 실패하였도다.

كَذَّبَتۡ ثَمُودُ بِطَغۡوَىٰهَآ
싸무드 부족은 경계를 넘어섬으로써 (쌀리흐를) 부정하였노라.

إِذِ ٱنۢبَعَثَ أَشۡقَىٰهَا
그들 중 가장 사악한 자가 일어나니

فَقَالَ لَهُمۡ رَسُولُ ٱللَّهِ نَاقَةَ ٱللَّهِ وَسُقۡيَٰهَا
하나님의 사도가 그들에게 "하나님의 암낙타와 그 (낙타)의 물 마심에 주의하라”라고 말하였으나

Ayah: 14

فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَعَقَرُوهَا فَدَمۡدَمَ عَلَيۡهِمۡ رَبُّهُم بِذَنۢبِهِمۡ فَسَوَّىٰهَا
그들은 그(쌀리흐)를 부정하고 그 (낙타)의 다리 힘줄을 끊어버렸노라. 그리하여 그들의 주님께서는 그들의 죄에 의하여 그들 위로 (벌을) 뒤덮으셨으니 그것(벌)을 동일하게 두셨노라.

وَلَا يَخَافُ عُقۡبَٰهَا
그분께서는 그것(벌)의 결말을 개의치 않으시노라.
