Suratu Al-Maa'un

Ayah: 1

أَرَءَيۡتَ ٱلَّذِي يُكَذِّبُ بِٱلدِّينِ
Viste quem desmente o Dia do Juízo?

فَذَٰلِكَ ٱلَّذِي يَدُعُّ ٱلۡيَتِيمَ
Esse é o que repele o órfão,

وَلَا يَحُضُّ عَلَىٰ طَعَامِ ٱلۡمِسۡكِينِ
E não incitava ninguém a alimentar o necessitado."

فَوَيۡلٞ لِّلۡمُصَلِّينَ
Então, ai dos orantes

ٱلَّذِينَ هُمۡ عَن صَلَاتِهِمۡ سَاهُونَ
Que são distraídos de suas orações,

ٱلَّذِينَ هُمۡ يُرَآءُونَ
Que, por ostentação, só querem ser vistos orando,

وَيَمۡنَعُونَ ٱلۡمَاعُونَ
E impedem o adjutório.
