AL-’ADIYAT

Ayah: 1

وَٱلۡعَٰدِيَٰتِ ضَبۡحٗا
1. Pe alergătorii gâfâind,(2)
(2) „Gâfâind”: Sunetul scos de caii care aleargă sau sunetul provocat de copitele lor.

Ayah: 2

فَٱلۡمُورِيَٰتِ قَدۡحٗا
2. Ce scot scântei(3),
(3) Care în timpul alergării scot scântei cu copitele lor.

فَٱلۡمُغِيرَٰتِ صُبۡحٗا
3. Şi pornesc la atac dimineaţa,

فَأَثَرۡنَ بِهِۦ نَقۡعٗا
4. Stârnind colbul(4),
(4) Stârnind praful din pricina alergatului lor.

فَوَسَطۡنَ بِهِۦ جَمۡعًا
5. Şi pătrund cu el în mijlocul mulţimii!(5)
(5) Caii ajung, stârnind praful, până în mijlocul oştii duşmane.

إِنَّ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ لِرَبِّهِۦ لَكَنُودٞ
6. Omul este nemulţumitor faţă de Domnul său!

وَإِنَّهُۥ عَلَىٰ ذَٰلِكَ لَشَهِيدٞ
7. Şi el este martor pentru aceasta.

وَإِنَّهُۥ لِحُبِّ ٱلۡخَيۡرِ لَشَدِيدٌ
8. Şi iubirea lui pentru bogăţie este puternică!

۞ أَفَلَا يَعۡلَمُ إِذَا بُعۡثِرَ مَا فِي ٱلۡقُبُورِ
9. Oare el nu ştie că atunci când se va risipi ceea ce este în morminte

Ayah: 10

وَحُصِّلَ مَا فِي ٱلصُّدُورِ
10. Şi se va dezvălui ceea ce este în piepturi,

Ayah: 11

إِنَّ رَبَّهُم بِهِمۡ يَوۡمَئِذٖ لَّخَبِيرُۢ
11. Atunci Domnul lor, în Ziua aceea, va fi Bineştiutor [Khabir](6) al lor?!
(6) Al faptelor lor şi al gândurilor lor ascunse şi îi va răsplăti după ele.
