AL-BURUJ

Ayah: 1

وَٱلسَّمَآءِ ذَاتِ ٱلۡبُرُوجِ
1. Pe cerul cu faze(2)
(2) Fazele prin care trec luna, soarele şi stelele în timpul mişcării lor de rotaţie.

Ayah: 2

وَٱلۡيَوۡمِ ٱلۡمَوۡعُودِ
2. Şi pe Ziua făgăduită!

Ayah: 3

وَشَاهِدٖ وَمَشۡهُودٖ
3. Pe martor şi pe ceea ce este văzut(3)!
(3) Toate lumile care sunt văzute, întregul Univers.

Ayah: 4

قُتِلَ أَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلۡأُخۡدُودِ
4. Blestemaţi să fie cei [care] au săpat şanţul adânc,(4)
(4) Legendă referitoare la prigonirea credincioşilor de către un rege iudeu din Himyar, în perioada anterioară Islamului.

ٱلنَّارِ ذَاتِ ٱلۡوَقُودِ
5. Cel cu focul aprins de vreascuri [din abundenţă],

إِذۡ هُمۡ عَلَيۡهَا قُعُودٞ
6. În vreme ce stăteau aşezaţi lângă el(5)
(5) Cârmuitorii care stau pe marginile şanţului.

وَهُمۡ عَلَىٰ مَا يَفۡعَلُونَ بِٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ شُهُودٞ
7. Şi ei erau martori la ceea ce le‑au făcut credincioşilor,

Ayah: 8

وَمَا نَقَمُواْ مِنۡهُمۡ إِلَّآ أَن يُؤۡمِنُواْ بِٱللَّهِ ٱلۡعَزِيزِ ٱلۡحَمِيدِ
8. Pe care nu s‑au răzbunat decât pentru că ei au crezut în Allah Cel Puternic [şi] Vrednic de Laudă [Al‑Aziz, Al‑Hamid],

Ayah: 9

ٱلَّذِي لَهُۥ مُلۡكُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ وَٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيۡءٖ شَهِيدٌ
9. A Căruia este împărăţia cerurilor şi a pământului. Iar Allah este Martor peste toate(6).
(6) Vede totul şi nu‑I este nimic necunoscut.

Ayah: 10

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ فَتَنُواْ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ وَٱلۡمُؤۡمِنَٰتِ ثُمَّ لَمۡ يَتُوبُواْ فَلَهُمۡ عَذَابُ جَهَنَّمَ وَلَهُمۡ عَذَابُ ٱلۡحَرِيقِ
10. Aceia care i‑au prigonit pe cei credincioşi şi pe cele credincioase, iar apoi nu s‑au căit, vor avea parte de chinurile Gheenei şi vor avea parte de chinurile Focului.

Ayah: 11

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ لَهُمۡ جَنَّٰتٞ تَجۡرِي مِن تَحۡتِهَا ٱلۡأَنۡهَٰرُۚ ذَٰلِكَ ٱلۡفَوۡزُ ٱلۡكَبِيرُ
11. Însă aceia care cred şi împlinesc fapte bune, vor avea parte de Grădini pe sub care curg pâraie şi aceasta este izbânda cea mare.

Ayah: 12

إِنَّ بَطۡشَ رَبِّكَ لَشَدِيدٌ
12. Răzbunarea Domnului tău este aspră.

إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ يُبۡدِئُ وَيُعِيدُ
13. El este Cel care face prima oară [creaţia] şi El este Cel care o face din nou(7).
(7) În Ziua de Apoi.

وَهُوَ ٱلۡغَفُورُ ٱلۡوَدُودُ
14. El este Cel Iertător(8) [şi] Cel Plin de Dragoste [Al‑Ghafur, Al‑Wadud](9),
(8) Cu cei care se căiesc. (9) Faţă de cei care I se supun şi‑L adoră numai pe El.

ذُو ٱلۡعَرۡشِ ٱلۡمَجِيدُ
15. Stăpânul Tronului, Cel Glorios [Al‑Majid],

فَعَّالٞ لِّمَا يُرِيدُ
16. Cel care face ceea ce voieşte.

هَلۡ أَتَىٰكَ حَدِيثُ ٱلۡجُنُودِ
17. Oare a ajuns până la tine vestea despre oştenii

فِرۡعَوۡنَ وَثَمُودَ
18. Lui Faraon şi a neamului Thamud?(10)
(10) Care s‑au ridicat împotriva trimişilor la aceste neamuri.

بَلِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ فِي تَكۡذِيبٖ
19. Aceia care nu cred stăruie în tăgăduire(11),
(11) În tăgăduirea Adevărului şi a revelaţiei.

Ayah: 20

وَٱللَّهُ مِن وَرَآئِهِم مُّحِيطُۢ
20. Însă Allah, care se află în urma lor, îi cuprinde pe ei.

بَلۡ هُوَ قُرۡءَانٞ مَّجِيدٞ
21. Dar acesta este un Coran glorios,

22. Pe o Tablă păstrată [de Allah].
