Ayah: 1

حمٓ
Ha’. Mim.
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 2

وَٱلۡكِتَٰبِ ٱلۡمُبِينِ
[Juro] por el Libro clarificador,
El Sagrado Corán.
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 3

إِنَّآ أَنزَلۡنَٰهُ فِي لَيۡلَةٖ مُّبَٰرَكَةٍۚ إِنَّا كُنَّا مُنذِرِينَ
que he revelado en una noche bendita: ¡Les he advertido!
una noche bendita: La Noche del Decreto, en el mes de Ramadán.

¡Les he advertido!: Sobre el castigo que espera a quienes rechacen el monoteísmo y las enseñanzas de los Profetas.

Ayah: 4

فِيهَا يُفۡرَقُ كُلُّ أَمۡرٍ حَكِيمٍ
En ella se decreta sabiamente cada asunto.
En ella: En esa noche.

أَمۡرٗا مِّنۡ عِندِنَآۚ إِنَّا كُنَّا مُرۡسِلِينَ
Todo sucede por Mi designio. He enviado [Profetas y libros sagrados]

Ayah: 6

رَحۡمَةٗ مِّن رَّبِّكَۚ إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ ٱلسَّمِيعُ ٱلۡعَلِيمُ
como una misericordia de tu Señor. Él todo lo oye, todo lo sabe.

Ayah: 7

رَبِّ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَمَا بَيۡنَهُمَآۖ إِن كُنتُم مُّوقِنِينَ
Señor de los cielos y de la Tierra, y de lo que existe entre ambos. ¿Acaso no tienen certeza de eso?

Ayah: 8

لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ يُحۡيِۦ وَيُمِيتُۖ رَبُّكُمۡ وَرَبُّ ءَابَآئِكُمُ ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ
No hay nada ni nadie con derecho a ser adorado salvo Dios; Él da la vida y da la muerte. Él es su Señor y el de sus ancestros.

Ayah: 9

بَلۡ هُمۡ فِي شَكّٖ يَلۡعَبُونَ
Pero ellos juegan con las dudas.
Pero ellos: Los que se niegan a creer y rechazan el Mensaje.

Ayah: 10

فَٱرۡتَقِبۡ يَوۡمَ تَأۡتِي ٱلسَّمَآءُ بِدُخَانٖ مُّبِينٖ
Aguarda el día en que el cielo traiga un humo visible

Ayah: 11

يَغۡشَى ٱلنَّاسَۖ هَٰذَا عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٞ
que cubrirá a la gente. Ese será un castigo doloroso.
Se trata de una de las señales mayores del advenimiento del Día del Juicio Final. El Mensajero de Dios, que la paz y las bendiciones de Dios sean con él, dijo: “Su Señor les advierte acerca de tres cosas: el humo que hará que el creyente simplemente estornude, mientras que causará que el incrédulo se hinche. La segunda es la Bestia, y la tercera es el Anticristo”. Narrado por Ibn Yarir At-Tabari.

Ayah: 12

رَّبَّنَا ٱكۡشِفۡ عَنَّا ٱلۡعَذَابَ إِنَّا مُؤۡمِنُونَ
[Dirán los que se negaron a creer:] "¡Oh, Señor nuestro! Aparta de nosotros el castigo, somos creyentes".

Ayah: 13

أَنَّىٰ لَهُمُ ٱلذِّكۡرَىٰ وَقَدۡ جَآءَهُمۡ رَسُولٞ مُّبِينٞ
De qué les servirá recapacitar entonces, si cuando se les presentó un Mensajero con pruebas evidentes

Ayah: 14

ثُمَّ تَوَلَّوۡاْ عَنۡهُ وَقَالُواْ مُعَلَّمٞ مَّجۡنُونٌ
lo rechazaron y dijeron: "Fue aleccionado o es un loco".

Ayah: 15

إِنَّا كَاشِفُواْ ٱلۡعَذَابِ قَلِيلًاۚ إِنَّكُمۡ عَآئِدُونَ
Los libraré del castigo por un tiempo, pero reincidirán.

Ayah: 16

يَوۡمَ نَبۡطِشُ ٱلۡبَطۡشَةَ ٱلۡكُبۡرَىٰٓ إِنَّا مُنتَقِمُونَ
El día que acometa con el máximo rigor, les infligiré un castigo doloroso.
Por haber rechazado el monoteísmo y cometido serias injusticias contra los creyentes.

Ayah: 17

۞ وَلَقَدۡ فَتَنَّا قَبۡلَهُمۡ قَوۡمَ فِرۡعَوۡنَ وَجَآءَهُمۡ رَسُولٞ كَرِيمٌ
Antes de ellos probé al pueblo del Faraón, cuando se les presentó un Mensajero noble,
un Mensajero noble: Moisés.

Ayah: 18

أَنۡ أَدُّوٓاْ إِلَيَّ عِبَادَ ٱللَّهِۖ إِنِّي لَكُمۡ رَسُولٌ أَمِينٞ
[que les dijo:] "Dejen en libertad a los siervos de Dios para que puedan marcharse conmigo. Yo he sido enviado para ustedes como un Mensajero leal.

Ayah: 19

وَأَن لَّا تَعۡلُواْ عَلَى ٱللَّهِۖ إِنِّيٓ ءَاتِيكُم بِسُلۡطَٰنٖ مُّبِينٖ
No sean soberbios con Dios. Les he presentado pruebas evidentes.
Que corroboran que soy un Profeta.

Ayah: 20

وَإِنِّي عُذۡتُ بِرَبِّي وَرَبِّكُمۡ أَن تَرۡجُمُونِ
Me refugio en mi Señor y el suyo para que no me injurien.

Ayah: 21

وَإِن لَّمۡ تُؤۡمِنُواْ لِي فَٱعۡتَزِلُونِ
Si no creen en mí, déjenme en paz".

Ayah: 22

فَدَعَا رَبَّهُۥٓ أَنَّ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ قَوۡمٞ مُّجۡرِمُونَ
Pero invocó a su Señor diciendo: "Éste es un pueblo de criminales".
Pero: Como no dejaron de perseguirlo a él y a su pueblo, invocó a Dios contra ellos.

Ayah: 23

فَأَسۡرِ بِعِبَادِي لَيۡلًا إِنَّكُم مُّتَّبَعُونَ
[Entonces Dios le respondió:] "Marcha con Mis siervos por la noche, pero sabe que ellos van a perseguirlos.
sabe que ellos: El Faraón y su ejército.

Ayah: 24

وَٱتۡرُكِ ٱلۡبَحۡرَ رَهۡوًاۖ إِنَّهُمۡ جُندٞ مُّغۡرَقُونَ
Deja el mar [luego de que se haya abierto para ti] tal como está, que el ejército será ahogado.

Ayah: 25

كَمۡ تَرَكُواْ مِن جَنَّٰتٖ وَعُيُونٖ
Cuántos huertos y manantiales abandonaron,
El Faraón y su ejército.

وَزُرُوعٖ وَمَقَامٖ كَرِيمٖ
cultivos y hermosas residencias,

Ayah: 27

وَنَعۡمَةٖ كَانُواْ فِيهَا فَٰكِهِينَ
y una comodidad de la que disfrutaban.

Ayah: 28

كَذَٰلِكَۖ وَأَوۡرَثۡنَٰهَا قَوۡمًا ءَاخَرِينَ
Así fue. Pero se lo di en herencia a otro pueblo.
Así fue: Que se ahogaron y perdieron todas esas gracias.

Ayah: 29

فَمَا بَكَتۡ عَلَيۡهِمُ ٱلسَّمَآءُ وَٱلۡأَرۡضُ وَمَا كَانُواْ مُنظَرِينَ
No lloraron por ellos ni el cielo ni la Tierra. Tampoco fueron perdonados.
No lloraron por ellos ni el cielo ni la Tierra: Nadie lamentó su muerte, porque no eran gente que hiciera el bien.

Ayah: 30

وَلَقَدۡ نَجَّيۡنَا بَنِيٓ إِسۡرَٰٓءِيلَ مِنَ ٱلۡعَذَابِ ٱلۡمُهِينِ
Salvé a los Hijos de Israel de un tormento humillante

Ayah: 31

مِن فِرۡعَوۡنَۚ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ عَالِيٗا مِّنَ ٱلۡمُسۡرِفِينَ
que les infligía el Faraón. Él era soberbio y transgresor.

Ayah: 32

وَلَقَدِ ٱخۡتَرۡنَٰهُمۡ عَلَىٰ عِلۡمٍ عَلَى ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ
[Al pueblo de Israel,] basado en un conocimiento, lo elegí entre sus contemporáneos,
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 33

وَءَاتَيۡنَٰهُم مِّنَ ٱلۡأٓيَٰتِ مَا فِيهِ بَلَٰٓؤٞاْ مُّبِينٌ
y les concedí signos que representaban una prueba clara en su fe.

Ayah: 34

إِنَّ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ لَيَقُولُونَ
Pero ellos dicen:
ellos: Los que se niegan a aceptar el Mensaje de los Profetas y desmienten la resurrección y el Juicio Final.

Ayah: 35

إِنۡ هِيَ إِلَّا مَوۡتَتُنَا ٱلۡأُولَىٰ وَمَا نَحۡنُ بِمُنشَرِينَ
"Solo moriremos una vez, y no seremos resucitados.

Ayah: 36

فَأۡتُواْ بِـَٔابَآئِنَآ إِن كُنتُمۡ صَٰدِقِينَ
Resucita a nuestros padres, si es que eres veraz".

Ayah: 37

أَهُمۡ خَيۡرٌ أَمۡ قَوۡمُ تُبَّعٖ وَٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبۡلِهِمۡ أَهۡلَكۡنَٰهُمۡۚ إِنَّهُمۡ كَانُواْ مُجۡرِمِينَ
¿Acaso ellos son mejores que los pueblos que he destruido, como el pueblo de Tubba’ y los que los precedieron? Todos ellos fueron criminales.
Tubba: Rey del Yemen.

Ayah: 38

وَمَا خَلَقۡنَا ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ وَمَا بَيۡنَهُمَا لَٰعِبِينَ
No he creado a los cielos, la Tierra y todo lo que hay entre ellos como un simple juego.

Ayah: 39

مَا خَلَقۡنَٰهُمَآ إِلَّا بِٱلۡحَقِّ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكۡثَرَهُمۡ لَا يَعۡلَمُونَ
Los creé con un fin justo y verdadero, pero la mayoría de la gente lo ignora.

Ayah: 40

إِنَّ يَوۡمَ ٱلۡفَصۡلِ مِيقَٰتُهُمۡ أَجۡمَعِينَ
El Día del Juicio es una cita establecida para todos.

Ayah: 41

يَوۡمَ لَا يُغۡنِي مَوۡلًى عَن مَّوۡلٗى شَيۡـٔٗا وَلَا هُمۡ يُنصَرُونَ
Ese día no podrán los familiares ayudarse entre sí, nadie recibirá socorro,
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 42

إِلَّا مَن رَّحِمَ ٱللَّهُۚ إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ ٱلۡعَزِيزُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ
excepto aquel de quien Dios tenga misericordia. Él es el Poderoso, el Misericordioso.

Ayah: 43

إِنَّ شَجَرَتَ ٱلزَّقُّومِ
El árbol de Zaqqum
Ver Corán 37:62.

Ayah: 44

طَعَامُ ٱلۡأَثِيمِ
será la comida del pecador.

Ayah: 45

كَٱلۡمُهۡلِ يَغۡلِي فِي ٱلۡبُطُونِ
Similar al metal fundido, hierve en las entrañas,

Ayah: 46

كَغَلۡيِ ٱلۡحَمِيمِ
como si fuera agua hirviente.

Ayah: 47

خُذُوهُ فَٱعۡتِلُوهُ إِلَىٰ سَوَآءِ ٱلۡجَحِيمِ
[Se les dirá a los ángeles:] "Tomen [a este transgresor] y arrójenlo al centro del Infierno.

Ayah: 48

ثُمَّ صُبُّواْ فَوۡقَ رَأۡسِهِۦ مِنۡ عَذَابِ ٱلۡحَمِيمِ
Luego viertan sobre su cabeza el castigo hirviente".

Ayah: 49

ذُقۡ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ ٱلۡعَزِيزُ ٱلۡكَرِيمُ
¡Súfrelo! [Porque en la vida mundanal pensabas que] eras "el poderoso" y "el noble".
Por lo que Dios no te castigaría y te salvarías, ya que creías estar por encima del bien y del mal.

Ayah: 50

إِنَّ هَٰذَا مَا كُنتُم بِهِۦ تَمۡتَرُونَ
Esto es sobre lo que dudabas.

Ayah: 51

إِنَّ ٱلۡمُتَّقِينَ فِي مَقَامٍ أَمِينٖ
Pero los piadosos estarán en una situación segura,

Ayah: 52

فِي جَنَّٰتٖ وَعُيُونٖ
en jardines y manantiales.

Ayah: 53

يَلۡبَسُونَ مِن سُندُسٖ وَإِسۡتَبۡرَقٖ مُّتَقَٰبِلِينَ
Vestirán fina seda y brocado, y se sentarán unos frente a otros.

Ayah: 54

كَذَٰلِكَ وَزَوَّجۡنَٰهُم بِحُورٍ عِينٖ
Los desposaremos con huríes de grandes ojos.

Ayah: 55

يَدۡعُونَ فِيهَا بِكُلِّ فَٰكِهَةٍ ءَامِنِينَ
Allí podrán pedir toda clase de frutas. Estarán en total seguridad.

Ayah: 56

لَا يَذُوقُونَ فِيهَا ٱلۡمَوۡتَ إِلَّا ٱلۡمَوۡتَةَ ٱلۡأُولَىٰۖ وَوَقَىٰهُمۡ عَذَابَ ٱلۡجَحِيمِ
No experimentarán otra vez la muerte, salvo la que ya conocieron. Él los preservará del castigo infernal.
la que ya conocieron: En la vida mundanal.

Ayah: 57

فَضۡلٗا مِّن رَّبِّكَۚ ذَٰلِكَ هُوَ ٱلۡفَوۡزُ ٱلۡعَظِيمُ
Ese es el favor de tu Señor. ¡Ese es el gran éxito!

Ayah: 58

فَإِنَّمَا يَسَّرۡنَٰهُ بِلِسَانِكَ لَعَلَّهُمۡ يَتَذَكَّرُونَ
Para facilitar su comprensión lo he revelado [al Corán] en tu lengua, para que reflexionen.

Ayah: 59

فَٱرۡتَقِبۡ إِنَّهُم مُّرۡتَقِبُونَ
Así que espera pacientemente, de la misma manera que ellos están esperando.
Que se haga evidente quién está en la verdad.
