Sura Al-Haaqqa

Ayah: 1

ٱلۡحَآقَّةُ
La exposición de la verdad.
Uno de los nombres del Día del Juicio Final, cuando todas las verdades sean expuestas, y la realidad de los asuntos mostrados ante la gente.

Ayah: 2

مَا ٱلۡحَآقَّةُ
¿Qué es la exposición de la verdad?

Ayah: 3

وَمَآ أَدۡرَىٰكَ مَا ٱلۡحَآقَّةُ
¿Qué te hará comprender lo que es la exposición de la verdad?
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 4

كَذَّبَتۡ ثَمُودُ وَعَادُۢ بِٱلۡقَارِعَةِ
[Los pueblos de] Zamud y ‘Ad desmintieron el evento repentino.
el evento repentino: Otro de los nombres del Día del Juicio Final, porque llegará repentinamente cuando nadie lo espere.

Ayah: 5

فَأَمَّا ثَمُودُ فَأُهۡلِكُواْ بِٱلطَّاغِيَةِ
Zamud fue destruido por una catástrofe.

وَأَمَّا عَادٞ فَأُهۡلِكُواْ بِرِيحٖ صَرۡصَرٍ عَاتِيَةٖ
Y ‘Ad fue aniquilado por un viento gélido

Ayah: 7

سَخَّرَهَا عَلَيۡهِمۡ سَبۡعَ لَيَالٖ وَثَمَٰنِيَةَ أَيَّامٍ حُسُومٗاۖ فَتَرَى ٱلۡقَوۡمَ فِيهَا صَرۡعَىٰ كَأَنَّهُمۡ أَعۡجَازُ نَخۡلٍ خَاوِيَةٖ
que los azotó durante siete noches y ocho días ininterrumpidamente. La gente quedó tendida, sin vida, como troncos huecos de palmeras derribadas.

Ayah: 8

فَهَلۡ تَرَىٰ لَهُم مِّنۢ بَاقِيَةٖ
¿Acaso ves ahora algún rastro de ellos?

Ayah: 9

وَجَآءَ فِرۡعَوۡنُ وَمَن قَبۡلَهُۥ وَٱلۡمُؤۡتَفِكَٰتُ بِٱلۡخَاطِئَةِ
El Faraón, otros pueblos de la antigüedad y los que fueron elevados con sus casas y arrojados al revés, cometieron los pecados más graves,
los que fueron elevados con sus casas y arrojados al revés: Los pueblos de Sodoma y Gomorra, a los que fuera enviado el Profeta Lot.

Ayah: 10

فَعَصَوۡاْ رَسُولَ رَبِّهِمۡ فَأَخَذَهُمۡ أَخۡذَةٗ رَّابِيَةً
desobedecieron al Mensajero que les había enviado su Señor, y por eso Dios los sorprendió con un castigo severo.

Ayah: 11

إِنَّا لَمَّا طَغَا ٱلۡمَآءُ حَمَلۡنَٰكُمۡ فِي ٱلۡجَارِيَةِ
Cuando las aguas lo inundaron todo, salvé en el arca a Noé y a quienes creyeron en él,

Ayah: 12

لِنَجۡعَلَهَا لَكُمۡ تَذۡكِرَةٗ وَتَعِيَهَآ أُذُنٞ وَٰعِيَةٞ
para que sea un motivo de reflexión y para que todo oído atento escuche su historia.

Ayah: 13

فَإِذَا نُفِخَ فِي ٱلصُّورِ نَفۡخَةٞ وَٰحِدَةٞ
Cuando la trompeta sea soplada una primera vez

وَحُمِلَتِ ٱلۡأَرۡضُ وَٱلۡجِبَالُ فَدُكَّتَا دَكَّةٗ وَٰحِدَةٗ
y la tierra y las montañas sean elevadas y choquen unas contra otras,

Ayah: 15

فَيَوۡمَئِذٖ وَقَعَتِ ٱلۡوَاقِعَةُ
entonces ocurrirá el suceso.

Ayah: 16

وَٱنشَقَّتِ ٱلسَّمَآءُ فَهِيَ يَوۡمَئِذٖ وَاهِيَةٞ
Ese día el cielo se quebrantará en su fragilidad.

Ayah: 17

وَٱلۡمَلَكُ عَلَىٰٓ أَرۡجَآئِهَاۚ وَيَحۡمِلُ عَرۡشَ رَبِّكَ فَوۡقَهُمۡ يَوۡمَئِذٖ ثَمَٰنِيَةٞ
Los ángeles estarán en sus confines, y ocho serán los que portarán el Trono de tu Señor ese día.

Ayah: 18

يَوۡمَئِذٖ تُعۡرَضُونَ لَا تَخۡفَىٰ مِنكُمۡ خَافِيَةٞ
Ese día ustedes comparecerán [ante Dios], y ni la más secreta de sus obras quedará oculta.

Ayah: 19

فَأَمَّا مَنۡ أُوتِيَ كِتَٰبَهُۥ بِيَمِينِهِۦ فَيَقُولُ هَآؤُمُ ٱقۡرَءُواْ كِتَٰبِيَهۡ
Quien reciba el libro de sus obras con la mano derecha dirá [a los demás con felicidad]: "Miren y vean mi libro,

Ayah: 20

إِنِّي ظَنَنتُ أَنِّي مُلَٰقٍ حِسَابِيَهۡ
yo sabía que iba a ser juzgado [algún día]".

فَهُوَ فِي عِيشَةٖ رَّاضِيَةٖ
Tendrá una vida placentera

Ayah: 22

فِي جَنَّةٍ عَالِيَةٖ
en un jardín elevado,

Ayah: 23

قُطُوفُهَا دَانِيَةٞ
cuyos frutos estarán al alcance de la mano.

Ayah: 24

كُلُواْ وَٱشۡرَبُواْ هَنِيٓـَٔۢا بِمَآ أَسۡلَفۡتُمۡ فِي ٱلۡأَيَّامِ ٱلۡخَالِيَةِ
[Se les dirá:] "Coman y beban con alegría en recompensa por lo que obraron en los días pasados".

Ayah: 25

وَأَمَّا مَنۡ أُوتِيَ كِتَٰبَهُۥ بِشِمَالِهِۦ فَيَقُولُ يَٰلَيۡتَنِي لَمۡ أُوتَ كِتَٰبِيَهۡ
En cambio, quien reciba el registro de sus obras en la mano izquierda, se dirá a sí mismo: "Ojalá no se me hubiera entregado mi libro

Ayah: 26

وَلَمۡ أَدۡرِ مَا حِسَابِيَهۡ
ni se me hubiese juzgado.

Ayah: 27

يَٰلَيۡتَهَا كَانَتِ ٱلۡقَاضِيَةَ
Ojalá mi muerte hubiera sido definitiva [y no me hubieran resucitado].

Ayah: 28

مَآ أَغۡنَىٰ عَنِّي مَالِيَهۡۜ
De nada me sirve ahora el dinero que tuve.

Ayah: 29

هَلَكَ عَنِّي سُلۡطَٰنِيَهۡ
Mi influencia ha desaparecido".

Ayah: 30

خُذُوهُ فَغُلُّوهُ
[Dios dirá a los ángeles:] "Aprésenlo y encadénenlo.

Ayah: 31

ثُمَّ ٱلۡجَحِيمَ صَلُّوهُ
Introdúzcanlo en el fuego del Infierno,

Ayah: 32

ثُمَّ فِي سِلۡسِلَةٖ ذَرۡعُهَا سَبۡعُونَ ذِرَاعٗا فَٱسۡلُكُوهُ
sujétenlo con una cadena de setenta codos,

Ayah: 33

إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ لَا يُؤۡمِنُ بِٱللَّهِ ٱلۡعَظِيمِ
porque no creía en Dios, el Grandioso,

Ayah: 34

وَلَا يَحُضُّ عَلَىٰ طَعَامِ ٱلۡمِسۡكِينِ
ni alentaba a alimentar al pobre.

Ayah: 35

فَلَيۡسَ لَهُ ٱلۡيَوۡمَ هَٰهُنَا حَمِيمٞ
Hoy no tiene aquí amigo que pueda interceder por él.

Ayah: 36

وَلَا طَعَامٌ إِلَّا مِنۡ غِسۡلِينٖ
No tendrá más comida que pus,

Ayah: 37

لَّا يَأۡكُلُهُۥٓ إِلَّا ٱلۡخَٰطِـُٔونَ
que solo comerán los pecadores".

Ayah: 38

فَلَآ أُقۡسِمُ بِمَا تُبۡصِرُونَ
Juro por lo que ven

Ayah: 39

وَمَا لَا تُبۡصِرُونَ
y por lo que no puede verse,

Ayah: 40

إِنَّهُۥ لَقَوۡلُ رَسُولٖ كَرِيمٖ
que el Corán es la palabra recitada por un Mensajero noble.

Ayah: 41

وَمَا هُوَ بِقَوۡلِ شَاعِرٖۚ قَلِيلٗا مَّا تُؤۡمِنُونَ
No es la palabra de un poeta. ¡Qué poco creen!

Ayah: 42

وَلَا بِقَوۡلِ كَاهِنٖۚ قَلِيلٗا مَّا تَذَكَّرُونَ
Ni tampoco la palabra de un adivino. ¡Qué poco reflexionan!

Ayah: 43

تَنزِيلٞ مِّن رَّبِّ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ
Es una revelación que dimana del Señor del universo.

Ayah: 44

وَلَوۡ تَقَوَّلَ عَلَيۡنَا بَعۡضَ ٱلۡأَقَاوِيلِ
Si [el Profeta] hubiera atribuido algo falsamente a Mi Mensaje,

Ayah: 45

لَأَخَذۡنَا مِنۡهُ بِٱلۡيَمِينِ
lo habría apresado severamente,
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 46

ثُمَّ لَقَطَعۡنَا مِنۡهُ ٱلۡوَتِينَ
luego le habría cortado la arteria vital,
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 47

فَمَا مِنكُم مِّنۡ أَحَدٍ عَنۡهُ حَٰجِزِينَ
y nadie habría podido impedirlo.

Ayah: 48

وَإِنَّهُۥ لَتَذۡكِرَةٞ لِّلۡمُتَّقِينَ
El Corán es un motivo de reflexión para los que tienen temor de Dios,

Ayah: 49

وَإِنَّا لَنَعۡلَمُ أَنَّ مِنكُم مُّكَذِّبِينَ
y bien sé que hay entre ustedes quienes desmienten,
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 50

وَإِنَّهُۥ لَحَسۡرَةٌ عَلَى ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ
pero eso será motivo de pesar para los que rechazan el Mensaje.

Ayah: 51

وَإِنَّهُۥ لَحَقُّ ٱلۡيَقِينِ
El Corán es la verdad indubitable.
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 52

فَسَبِّحۡ بِٱسۡمِ رَبِّكَ ٱلۡعَظِيمِ
¡Glorifica el nombre de tu Señor, el Grandioso!
