Sura At-Takwir

Ayah: 1

إِذَا ٱلشَّمۡسُ كُوِّرَتۡ
Cuando el Sol se contraiga [y oscurezca],
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 2

وَإِذَا ٱلنُّجُومُ ٱنكَدَرَتۡ
cuando las estrellas pierdan su luz,
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 3

وَإِذَا ٱلۡجِبَالُ سُيِّرَتۡ
cuando las montañas sean pulverizadas,
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 4

وَإِذَا ٱلۡعِشَارُ عُطِّلَتۡ
cuando las camellas preñadas sean dejadas de lado,
las camellas preñadas: Imagen que representa la gravedad de la situación, ya que por su preocupación las personas abandonan aquellas cosas que les son muy preciadas.

Ayah: 5

وَإِذَا ٱلۡوُحُوشُ حُشِرَتۡ
cuando las bestias salvajes sean acorraladas,

وَإِذَا ٱلۡبِحَارُ سُجِّرَتۡ
cuando los mares hiervan y se desborden,

Ayah: 7

وَإِذَا ٱلنُّفُوسُ زُوِّجَتۡ
cuando las almas vuelvan a emparejarse [con sus cuerpos],

وَإِذَا ٱلۡمَوۡءُۥدَةُ سُئِلَتۡ
cuando se le pregunte a las niñas que fueron enterradas vivas
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 9

بِأَيِّ ذَنۢبٖ قُتِلَتۡ
por qué pecado las mataron,
Los árabes en la época preislámica enterraban a sus hijas vivas por temor a la pobreza o a que estas pudieran caer en manos de los enemigos y eso trajera deshonra a su familia.

Ayah: 10

وَإِذَا ٱلصُّحُفُ نُشِرَتۡ
cuando los registros [de las obras] sean repartidos,

وَإِذَا ٱلسَّمَآءُ كُشِطَتۡ
cuando la bóveda celeste desaparezca,

Ayah: 12

وَإِذَا ٱلۡجَحِيمُ سُعِّرَتۡ
cuando el fuego del Infierno sea avivado,

Ayah: 13

وَإِذَا ٱلۡجَنَّةُ أُزۡلِفَتۡ
y cuando el Paraíso sea acercado.

Ayah: 14

عَلِمَتۡ نَفۡسٞ مَّآ أَحۡضَرَتۡ
En ese momento sabrá cada alma el resultado de sus obras.

فَلَآ أُقۡسِمُ بِٱلۡخُنَّسِ
Juro por los astros

Ayah: 16

ٱلۡجَوَارِ ٱلۡكُنَّسِ
que recorren sus órbitas,

Ayah: 17

وَٱلَّيۡلِ إِذَا عَسۡعَسَ
y [juro] por la noche cuando extiende su oscuridad,

Ayah: 18

وَٱلصُّبۡحِ إِذَا تَنَفَّسَ
y [juro] por la mañana cuando extiende su luminosidad,

Ayah: 19

إِنَّهُۥ لَقَوۡلُ رَسُولٖ كَرِيمٖ
que [el Corán] es la palabra [de Dios transmitida] por un emisario noble,
un emisario noble: El ángel Gabriel.

Ayah: 20

ذِي قُوَّةٍ عِندَ ذِي ٱلۡعَرۡشِ مَكِينٖ
dotado de poder y distinción ante el Señor del Trono.

مُّطَاعٖ ثَمَّ أَمِينٖ
El obedecido [por otros ángeles] y el digno confidente [de la revelación].

Ayah: 22

وَمَا صَاحِبُكُم بِمَجۡنُونٖ
[Sepan que] su compañero [el Profeta Mujámmad] no es un loco,
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 23

وَلَقَدۡ رَءَاهُ بِٱلۡأُفُقِ ٱلۡمُبِينِ
lo vio [al ángel Gabriel] en el horizonte claro,

Ayah: 24

وَمَا هُوَ عَلَى ٱلۡغَيۡبِ بِضَنِينٖ
no oculta nada de lo que le fue revelado.

Ayah: 25

وَمَا هُوَ بِقَوۡلِ شَيۡطَٰنٖ رَّجِيمٖ
[El Corán] no es la palabra de un demonio maldito.

Ayah: 26

فَأَيۡنَ تَذۡهَبُونَ
¿A dónde irán [con ese argumento]?
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 27

إِنۡ هُوَ إِلَّا ذِكۡرٞ لِّلۡعَٰلَمِينَ
[El Corán] es un Mensaje para toda la humanidad,
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 28

لِمَن شَآءَ مِنكُمۡ أَن يَسۡتَقِيمَ
para que se encamine quien quiera.
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 29

وَمَا تَشَآءُونَ إِلَّآ أَن يَشَآءَ ٱللَّهُ رَبُّ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ
Pero sepan que solo se encaminará quien quiera Dios, Señor del universo.
