Translation of the meanings Surah: Al-Mā‘ūn   Ayah:

Sura Al-Maa'un

Ayah: 1

أَرَءَيۡتَ ٱلَّذِي يُكَذِّبُ بِٱلدِّينِ
1. ¿Has reparado (¡oh, Muhammad!) en quien niega la resurrección y la rendición de cuentas?

Ayah: 2

فَذَٰلِكَ ٱلَّذِي يَدُعُّ ٱلۡيَتِيمَ
2. Ese es quien rechaza al huérfano

Ayah: 3

وَلَا يَحُضُّ عَلَىٰ طَعَامِ ٱلۡمِسۡكِينِ
3. y no alienta (a los demás) a alimentar a los pobres (ni los alimenta él mismo).

فَوَيۡلٞ لِّلۡمُصَلِّينَ
4. ¡Ay de aquellos que rezan

ٱلَّذِينَ هُمۡ عَن صَلَاتِهِمۡ سَاهُونَ
5. de manera negligente (fuera de su debido tiempo, o no son constantes en la práctica del salat)!

ٱلَّذِينَ هُمۡ يُرَآءُونَ
6. Esos que rezan para que la gente los vea (y piensen que son piadosos)

وَيَمۡنَعُونَ ٱلۡمَاعُونَ
7. mientras que no prestan la mínima ayuda (a quien la necesita).
