Ayah: 67

وَلَوۡ نَشَآءُ لَمَسَخۡنَٰهُمۡ عَلَىٰ مَكَانَتِهِمۡ فَمَا ٱسۡتَطَٰعُواْ مُضِيّٗا وَلَا يَرۡجِعُونَ

67. Y si hubiésemos querido, los habríamos transformado (en piedras) allí en sus hogares, de manera que hubiesen permanecido (inmóviles) sin capacidad para avanzar o retroceder^[841].

[841] Otra posible interpretación es que Al-lah podría haberlos convertido en monos o cerdos sin que pudiesen regresar a su estado original o bien podría haberlos destruido.
