Translation of the meanings Ayah: (78) Surah: Yūsuf
قَالُوْا یٰۤاَیُّهَا الْعَزِیْزُ اِنَّ لَهٗۤ اَبًا شَیْخًا كَبِیْرًا فَخُذْ اَحَدَنَا مَكَانَهٗ ۚ— اِنَّا نَرٰىكَ مِنَ الْمُحْسِنِیْنَ ۟
78. அதற்கவர்கள் (யூஸுஃபை நோக்கி எகிப்தின் அதிபதியாகிய) ‘‘அஜீஸே! (அவரைப் பற்றி கவலைப்படக்கூடிய) முதிர்ந்த வயதுடைய தந்தை அவருக்கு உண்டு. (நீர் அவரைப் பிடித்துக் கொண்டால் இத்துக்கத்தால் அவர் இறந்துவிடுவார்.) ஆகவே, அவருக்குப் பதிலாக எங்களில் ஒருவரை நீர் எடுத்துக்கொள்வீராக. நிச்சயமாக நாம் உங்களைப் பெரும் உபகாரிகளில் ஒருவராகவே காண்கிறோம்'' என்று கூறினார்கள்.
