Ayah: 1

اَرَءَیْتَ الَّذِیْ یُكَذِّبُ بِالدِّیْنِ ۟ؕ

(நபியே! மறுமையில்) கூலி கொடுக்கப்படுவதை பொய்ப்பிப்பவனைப் பார்த்தீரா?

Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

فَذٰلِكَ الَّذِیْ یَدُعُّ الْیَتِیْمَ ۟ۙ

ஆக, அவன் அனாதையை விரட்டுகிறான். (அனாதைக்கு அநீதி இழைக்கிறான்.)

وَلَا یَحُضُّ عَلٰی طَعَامِ الْمِسْكِیْنِ ۟ؕ

இன்னும், ஏழைக்கு உணவளிக்க (பிறரைத்) தூண்ட மாட்டான்.

فَوَیْلٌ لِّلْمُصَلِّیْنَ ۟ۙ

ஆக, அந்த தொழுகையாளிகளுக்குக் கேடுதான்,

الَّذِیْنَ هُمْ عَنْ صَلَاتِهِمْ سَاهُوْنَ ۟ۙ

அவர்கள் தங்கள் தொழுகையை (அதற்குரிய நேரத்தில் நிறைவேற்றுவதை) விட்டு மறந்தவர்களாக இருக்கிறார்கள்.

الَّذِیْنَ هُمْ یُرَآءُوْنَ ۟ۙ

அவர்கள் (நற்காரியங்களை) பிறர் பார்ப்பதற்காக செய்கிறார்கள்.

وَیَمْنَعُوْنَ الْمَاعُوْنَ ۟۠

இன்னும், அற்ப பொருளை(யும் பிறருக்கு தானமாக அல்லது இரவலாகக் கொடுக்காது) தடுக்கிறார்கள்.
